Good Morning, World!!!

Good Morning, World!!! There is nothing better than having a cat laying next to purring as you wake up in the morning. As I woke up this morning Lil Gertie was beside me on my bed purring. I personally think its the best way to wake up in the morning. My love for Lil Gertie grows everyday and I can’t imagine my life without her.

As I get ready for the day, I realize how lucky I am to be alive. I am lucky to be alive for many reasons and am grateful that I am alive. I am grateful to be alive because that means I have more love to give and am still able to help others out.

I am loving the weather Seattle is having. I love it when the weather hits the 80’s or higher. The only thing I don’t like about the hot weather this summer is now I have a cat I need to worry about when the weather heats up.

I should get going to get ready for the day. I just wanted to post so I can get back in the habit of blogging again. Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

  1. Recently, I read how we need to think about the things we have now that only a year ago, we could only dream of having. Foe me, that’s my home. Ive wanted to live in a mid century home that still had some original features. Only a year ago, I thought this would’nt be true and I was satisfied with decorating our old house mid century. Now, I got the home, original furniture, and decor! Plus, I’m in a designated historic neighborhood! Remembering this teaches gratitude. We need to remember to be grateful! It also reduces depression symptoms for me.

Recently, here in Vegas, we experienced an excessive heat wave where the temps were at an unbearable 112-116 F. It was already in the 80s by 9am. It’s cooled down now to more normal temps of 105-108 F., but the scattered monsoon rains we had before the heatwave are back. Luckily, that horrid humidity isn’t back.

Currently, I am working on a big sewing project that I plan to wear in April. It’s a 50s inspired couture evening gown.

I was recently thinking about the guy you mentioned got banned from Day treatment for not respecting your identity. Honestly, I think it’s ok to disagree, but people need to remember if they don’t have anything nice to say, they should just keep it to themselves. I think we’ve forgotten this.

I’ve been reading a lot lately on how we can’t control others, only ourselves. We naturally want to control others, but this only hurts us. We need to release that urge.
