The last live performance I saw was a concert, March of last year (2023). In fact I went and saw Amy Grant in concert in Bremerton, Washington. I had a blast attending the concert. I had so much fun and met some new friends that I have been keeping in contact with since then. One of my favorite parts was when I was waiting by Amy Grant’s bus as she was leaving, I got to briefly talk with her and got a belated birthday hug from her. I love Amy Grant’s music.

Gertie's Journey 
The last live performance I remember seeing was at the “MVP arena” in Albany (if I remember the name of the arena correctly). I believe it was in late July of 2022. Thanks to my Dad, I got to see Roger Waters perform, and I got to see a well known celebrity in person although it was still from a distance. We started off by sitting in the top row of the stands, which was very spectacular looking down at all the lights and screens that blew up the performance. We then relocated to a different section of the stands once able to for a different view of the stage. Although it was an experience that I’ll most probably never forget, it was still a challenge to not get super drunk while surrounded by those who were. It also reminded me of the fact that I practically never receive invites to performances and that in general I don’t see nearly as much as I can. However, regardless of all the negativity that my mind can come up with, being able to see Roger Waters perform the way he did, was a very special opportunity that I was fortunate to have.
