A Brief Morning Post

Good Morning, World from Seattle!!! I have been awake since three thirty in the morning, Seattle time. It is now almost seven thirty, Seattle time. Having insomnia sucks shit. The thing that sucked even more is that I was almost back to sleep when the fire alarm system went off. So, of course, I got up and put Billie in his carrier to exit the building. As, I was exiting the building with my cat, Billie, I found out one of my neighbors pulled the fire alarm “for the fun of it” or that’s what he was telling people including the fire department. The fire department then notified the police who talked with the neighbor and he admitted it to the police. The police didn’t do anything but talk to the neighbor.

So, when the all clear to come back into the building, I of course came to my apartment. Since, I knew, I wouldn’t be going back to sleep I decided to have breakfast. For breakfast, I had a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich with bar-ba-que chips and cherry soda. I know it’s not the typical breakfast but it filled me up and was good.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end. Peace Out, World!!!

  1. It seems like this happens way too often to you. I wish they would have fined the person. I’ve given up trying to take my cats out when the fire alarm goes off. Wrangling them into their carrier always winds up with my arms scratched because they are already upset with the noise.

    • Yes, it happens way too much. I agree they need to fine the dude. I take my cat out because if I can’t deal with the noise and lights of the alarm then, I’m sure my cat can’t either. Plus, what happens if it is a real fire. The firefighters will save people and sadly not pets.
