Tuesday Evening Ramblings

Good Evening, World!!! Today was a long day at work for various reasons and when I got off work my uncle called me regarding my grandpa. My grandpa fell in his backyard and ended up breaking his femur bone and will have surgery tomorrow. Sadly, I am unable to visit him in the hospital as I live in Seattle and he live in Spokane. (Spokane is in eastern Washington while Seattle is in western Washington.) My grandpa is 96 years old and I’m worried that he might not make it through surgery due to his age. I love my grandpa so very much and not sure if I can handle losing him especially so close to the holidays. My uncle told me he will be fine but I sitll worry.

Since we are on the topic of health, my cat, Billie, is still here on earth and thankfully has not crossed the rainbow bridge. As I mentioned in previous blog post, Billie has terminal cancer and is on palliative care here at home with me. I love my cat, Billie so very much and he has been with me through both good and bad moments for the last almost seven months. I just wish he did not have cancer.

To help me cope with a long day at work, my cat, Billie’s cancer and my grandpa’s broken femur bone and his surgery tomorrow, I am going to vedge out and read as I cuddle with my cat, Billie. I am reading To Shape A Dragon’s Breath by Moniquill Blackgoose. It is the first book in a trilogy in the Nampeshiweisit series. I am really enjoying the book. I really do enjoy reading and it also helps me forget reality for a few moments.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie and read. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
