Happy Hump Day

Good Morning, World!!! I have been awake since three thirty in the morning Seattle time. It is now five thirty in the morning Seattle time. I wish I could go back to sleep however I am unable to do so. I wish sleep came easily for but it doesn’t.

It is hump day (Wednesday) as many of you know. This means the week is half over. It is hard to believe how fast time flies even when you don’t have much going on in your life. I like Wednesdays as they are a reflective day for me. Not sure why they tend to be reflective but they are.

I am not really sure what I am going to do today as I have nothing really planned. I know that I need to do some lite housework so that is on the to do list. As much as I dislike doing house work, it gives me a sense of accomplishment after it is done.

I’m also most likely going to be reading. I am not sure what book I will be reading but I will be reading. It helps me get out of my head. I have a gut feeling that reading will be the go to skill I will be using today as I am really in my head at the moment.

Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

  1. I was up at that time too (same time zone). I was able to go back to sleep, but kept waking up every 30 mins. Ugh!

Today, my husband will be out all day and since I don’t drive and our temps are in the triple digits, I’m stuck in the house. I do need to catch up on laundry, vacuum, and put dishes away. I may get some sewing done.

I have a note to drop off at the home of my governor candidate neighbor. I can’t make it to her campaign office again by the primaries, so I won’t be able to do more phone calls for her. I’ve done 6 pages so far and will definitely do more if she wins the primaries. I plan to congratulate her either way. She has been running neck in neck with her opponent and even if she loses, she should try again. She has some really good ideas and really cares about helping people.

I recently started a drinking station outside. We have many homeless around here who walk through our neighborhood. So, I bought a bunch of cheap bottles of water and placed them on the sidewalk outside with a note. I love that my drinking station is getting used. Hopefully it is helping. I plan to replace them as it dwindles and keep it well stocked.
