Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! It is Saturday evening and that means it is that time of week to do my weekly check-in. Yes, it has been quite a while since I have done a weekly check-in. I am hoping to do my weekly check-ins as well as my weekly plans on the more regular basis.

This past week was the 4th of July which is Independence Day here in the United States. In fact, Independence Day was yesterday. I celebrated with some friends. We had plenty of fun, food and enjoyed the fireworks over Lake Union from a friend’s backyard. I enjoyed myself and I’m glad I went.

This past week was a good week at work. Hell, even when there are not so good moments or days at work, I still enjoy my new job. I love my job. I really enjoy my new job, and I am beyond grateful for it. The best part it is part time, and I get full medical benefits, and I greatly appreciate that I receive full medical benefits.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Happy 4th of July

Good Evening, World and Happy 4th of July to all Americans around the world!!! It is a beautiful Independance Day here in Seattle with sunny weather. I am currently at a friend’s house celebrating the 4th of July with my friend group. We have had plenty of food all day and continue have food flowing till it is time to watch the fireworks later tonight from my friend’s backyard. I am looking forward to watching the fireworks from my friend’s backyard. I’m glad to be having fun with friends yet I am missing my cat, Billie.

Sadly, people who live in my apartment complex have been setting off fireworks which means I had to give my cat, Billie some anxiety meds before I left. I am paying a neighbor to check on Billie every two hours and to continue to give him a dose of his anxiety meds every four hours as his veterinarian suggested. I am glad my neighbor is willing to do this for me and Billie. I feel like paying my neighbor fifty dollars to take care of Billie is well worth peace of mind and making sure he is comfortable when I am not home when there is the scary noise of fireworks.

Sleepless In Seattle Type Of Night

Good Morning, World!!! I am sadly unable to sleep due to the combination of insomnia and PTSD. Having both insomnia and PTSD sucks shit especially when they both rear their ugly heads at the same time. Since I have been unable to sleep due to insomnia and PTSD, I have been listening to music as my cat, Billie lays on my lap as I do some artwork. Specifically, I am doing diamond art/painting. I am still doing the one of a tuxedo cat as I had briefly stopped doing it for various reasons including starting my new job as a peer specialist. I really do enjoy doing diamond art/painting especially when my cat, Billie lays on my lap as I them.

Looking Forward to Work Today

Good Morning, World!!! It is a beautiful sunny Monday here in Seattle. It is going to be a warm day which is something I really do enjoy. One of the good parts of it being a nice day outside today is that I will have an awesome view from my office at work.

Speaking of work, I am looking forward to work. In fact, I really like where I currently work as well as enjoy the team I work with. My colleagues are pretty awesome. Today, I will be doing some continuing education and training at work that I need for the state. It will be online which I am not a big fan of but at least I will be getting paid for it. I will still have appointments with the I help and that is the best part of my job. Being a part of someone’s recovery journey is one of the best parts of my job. Hell, it’s the most amazing part of my job.

The main draw back of my job or any job for that matter is the fact that I will be away from my cat, Billie. Billie is truly one of the most attached cats I have ever had. Plus, he is a very lovable cat who enjoys his belly being rubbed as well as being on my lap. He is my emotional support animal, and I am his emotional support human. Anyway, when I am work, I am going to miss my cat, Billie. I love him so very much and I am beyond grateful for his unconditional love.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except that I will miss my cat, Billie when I am at work, but I already informed you of that.

Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! It is that time of the week to do my weekly check-in. I do not have much to discuss except for me starting my new job. I only work three days a week and this past week wasn’t the usual week due to the fact I have many trainings and orientations that I have done and will have to do. Some of it is review from previous trainings at previous employers such as HIPAA. I do have to say most trainings I attend even if it is a review for me, I learn something new or a new way to do things. I look forward to what the new job holds.

As far as work goes it is going to be an adjustment for me and my cat, Billie. Billie and I are very much attached to each other. Anytime I am gone for any length of time even for five minutes to check my mail, I get “yelled” at by Billie. I love my cat so very much. It is nice coming home to a cat especially my Billie. I am so grateful to have Billie in my life.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. A Fun Time w/Friends at Breakfast

Good Afternoon, World!!! It is 12:06 in the afternoon here in Seattle and I am back home from having breakfast with my friends. Two of my friends took me out to breakfast. They took me out to breakfast to one of my favorite restaurants called the Blue Star Cafe and Pub. It is in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. In fact, it by the novelty shop Archie McPhee’s. Archie McPhee’s is a big deal here in Seattle. Anyway, my friends and I had a wonderful breakfast and thought the food was really yummy. We had a great time and had fun.

Up Too Early & Plan for the Day

Good Morning, World!!! It is four fourteen in the morning here in Seattle and I am up way too early. On that note I also ended up going to bed really early for me last night which explains why I am up way too early. I got a really good night of sleep for a change and that is a good thing for especially after my insomnia was acting up.

Two of my friends are planning on taking me out to breakfast later this morning. We are going to one of my favorite places to eat called Blue Star Cafe & Pub. It is in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. In fact, it is near Archie McPhee’s which is a fun novelty shop which my friends and I might end up going to after breakfast. I am so very grateful that I have friends who care about me and like to treat me to meals especially my favorite meal of the day, breakfast.

Nothing Major, I Got A Nap

Good Afternoon, World!!! I finally got some sleep. It wasn’t a much but at least it was a restful two-hour nap that I am so very grateful for. It was also a much-needed nap that I needed think I would be able to get due to the fact I have trouble sleeping when it is so sunny outside.

I am not sure what I am going to do next. I know I want to do some form of art but not sure what type of art I would like to do. I am not sure if I want to color or if I want to do diamond art/painting. I really enjoy both types of art.

In all honesty, I am most likely going to go to park and read. The weather here in Seattle is absolutely beautiful and I might as well as take advantage of it. One of my favorite things to do is go to a local park and read. I get some sun, and I get to read; two of my favorite things.

Happy Friday!!!

Good Morning and Happy Friday, World!!! It is a beautiful sunny Friday here in Seattle and my morning walk was awesome and helped woke me up a little. I am tired as hell as I sadly have not slept all night. I am assuming I could not sleep last night due to insomnia. As much as I would love to take a nap, I am not able to. I am not able to because I have a volunteer shift with Alley Cat Project. I am really glad that my volunteer job with Alley Cat Project. I am also beyond thrilled that it is sunny in Seattle today as the sun will help keep me awake during my volunteer shift.

I am wondering if I will hear back today from the potential employer that I interviewed with this past Tuesday regarding if I got the job or not. I was informed that I would hear back no later than next Friday which is what I am expecting but one can hope to hear back sooner than later. I really want this job, and I am surprised that I was asked for references the day after my interview because I think I did a really crappy job interviewing. Like I said I really want this job, and I hope I get it. I also hope I am not pulling the cart before the horse or jinxing myself or getting my hopes up too high as I don’t want to be beyond devastated if I don’t get the job.

A Bit Pissed at the Moment

Good Morning, World!!! It is almost five o’clock in the morning here in Seattle and I am a bit pissed at the moment. I am pissed due to the fact that right after I posted my last blog post a neighbor in crisis decided the building fire alarm. I, of course evacuated my apartment with my cat, Billie. As my neighbors and were evacuating the building many of us saw this neighbor throw his cat out his seventh-floor apartment. Sadly, the cat did not make it. Anyway, Seattle fire department showed due to the fire alarm, and they called Seattle police.

The police showed up right as the neighbor in crisis decided to throw pool balls through the first-floor community windows which are double pained. Sadly, one of the pool balls ended up hitting another neighbor in the head. She went to the hospital to get medically evaluated and is planning on pressing charges against the neighbor in crisis as this isn’t first time he has done something like this. Sadly, I heard a Seattle police officer discourage this neighbor from pressing charges due to the other “neighbor being in crisis.” This is why I am pissed as hell especially at the Seattle police officer who said that. Why should my neighbor who got hurt by the neighbor in crisis be discouraged from pressing charges?

Anyway, long story short as of this writing of this particular blog post, my neighbors and I are allowed back in our apartments as the neighbor in crisis is in front of the building in handcuffs screaming at the Seattle police officers. From what I am understanding the neighbor in crisis going to the hospital to get a psych evaluation. As far as the neighbor in crisis dead cat, the Seattle Animal Control is investigating and planning on pressing charges for animal cruelty.
