Sleepless in Seattle Type of Night

Good Morning, World!!! Right now, I am having trouble sleeping. I have been awake since Friday at around five o’clock in the morning Seattle time. I am tired as hell, and I know the reason why I am unable to sleep. I’m unable to sleep due to insomnia and PTSD. Due to the lack of sleep my depression is starting act up a little. I am sure with some sleep that the depression will subside.

Due to the lack of sleep, increased PTSD and depression symptoms I am extremely grateful that I have two really fun things happening. Those two things are Sea-Meow Convention which is in November of this year and Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) in March of 2027. Having these two events to look forward to is extremely helpful for me even though my depression symptoms are not that bad and are most likely increased due the lack of sleep. I am really looking forward both Sea-Meow Convention and ECCC. For me planning to attend such events such as Sea-Meow Convention and ECCC are key to my mental health recovery because no manner how mild or severe my mental health symptoms are knowing that I have something fun to look forward to is key to my recovery.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie and attempt to fall asleep I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! I do not have much to write about or say in this particular weekly check-in. The big even that happened this week was that Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) tickets went on sale. I was able to buy my VIP badge which is for all four days of the comic con during the presale event. ECCC is going to happen over my birthday weekend in early March of 2027. I am so excited about next year’s ECCC.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Post Emerald City Comic Con Thinking

Good Evening, World!!! The last couple of days I have been thinking about a couple of things regarding attending Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) as well as attending past conferences and other types of conventions. The things that I have thinking about regarding attending Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) as well as attending conferences and other types of conventions is regarding how much I eat, what I eat and the amount of water I drink. I bring this up as for me I either don’t drink enough water to stay hydrated and don’t eat very well, or I drink enough water and eat pretty healthy. When I end up not staying hydrated, I tend to hold my bladder and end up with a bladder infection which is similar to not eating very well, I end up constipated which is almost as uncomfortable as having a bladder infection. Then there are conventions and conferences such as this past ECCC that I drank plenty of water to stay hydrated and ate healthy as well as regularly which helped a great deal with not being constipated. I know this is a weird thing to think about but with recent health issues I think I am going make more an effort to be more aware of my hydration and eating habits when I attend such events.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is now time to cuddle with my cat, Billie.

Some Thoughts About Blogging More Often

Good Morning, World!!! I was thinking about how I want to blog more regularly and always come up with some kind of excuse to not blog on the regular basis. The reason why I was thinking about this is because if I can make time to blog when I come home exhausted from Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) then I can carve out time to blog on other days when life gets hectic. I realize I have written similar post like this, but Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) helped me realize that I can make time to blog.

I have some ideas of how I am going to blog more regularly and one of them is to schedule a time to blog. Also, I think I’m going start doing my Weekly Plans on Sunday morning and my Weekly Check-Ins on Saturday evenings. I might even do Caturday with Billie the Kat on Saturday morning. Another way I want to try to blog more regularly is to do the daily prompts WordPress provides and do them on weekdays. I also plan on doing book reviews on books I read. Of course, the book reviews will be more spread out as it does take time to read. I will continue to write about my daily life like I have been.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie before I get ready for work.

Awesome Sleep for the 2nd Day of Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC)

Good Morning, World!!! I surprisingly got an awesome night of sleep last night. I didn’t get much sleep due to the fact that I was up reading till just after one o’clock in the morning, Seattle time. I may not have gotten the amount of sleep I wanted but at least the sleep was awesome.

I am looking forward to the second day of Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC). I had fun yesterday and I am pretty sure that I will have fun today. I have a lot more on my agenda to do today at ECCC than yesterday and looking forward to it. The two things I am looking forward to doing today are a horror book panel and a post horror book panel book signing.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say that I want to make sure I have everything that I might need for the day to take for the second day of Emerald City Comic Con. First Day of Emerald City Comic Con in the Books

Good Evening, World!!! The first day of Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) is in the books. I had a great day and wish to share it with you along with some pictures I took. First off, I bought me some ECCC gear of a tote bag, t-shirt and a sweatshirt. I then bought two books at a friend’s suggestion and was able to get it signed by the author. I then went to some panel’s that I greatly enjoyed. My favorite panel was horror comic book writers and/or artist. I saw some amazing cosplay. I even found Waldo.

I will now post picture of the first day of comic con. I will put in a caption my site impaired readers as they have adaptive devices to help them read what is said.

Let Emerald City Comic Con Begin. A person dressed like black crow.
I found Waldo at Emerald City Comic Con while at Speed Friending.
I ran into a friend dressed as Lamb.
The panel I was telling you about of Horror Comics. The panel’s title was “The Chills and Craft of Horror Comics.”

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is I had an awesome first day at ECCC and it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie. Too Excited to Go Back to Sleep

Good Morning, World!!! I woke up at two fifty-nine this morning Seattle time and have not been able to go back to sleep. I am way too excited to go back to sleep. Today is the first day of Emerald City Comic Con here in Seattle and I am beyond ecstatic. I already have my first day of Emerald City Comic Con planned out. I have been looking forward to this since I bought my four-day VIP pass the first day they went on sale in August of 2025. I’m just so extremely excited for Emerald City Comic Con and that it is over my birthday weekend.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say that I want to make sure I have everything that I might need for the day to take to Emerald City Comic Con. Middle of the Night Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! It is two forty-five in the morning on Wednesday, March 4th of 2026 and sadly I am not able to sleep. I’m pretty sure my PTSD and insomnia are conspiring against me to be sleepless in Seattle. Being sleepless in Seattle is nothing new to me and it majorly sucks. It sucks because I tend to be a cranky bucket the next day, but I am hoping it won’t affect me so much since I have so much to look forward to.

One of the things, I have to look forward to starts tomorrow (Thursday, March 5th) to Sunday (March 8th). That something is Emerald City Comic Con. It also happens that this weekend is my birthday weekend which makes Emerald City Comic Con that much more special for me. I have been looking forward to this since August of last year (2025). I can’t wait till tomorrow as it is the start of my birthday weekend.

Speaking of birthdays, I bought myself a birthday present. A birthday present that is going to be a weekend of fun here in Seattle and is in April of this year (2026) that involves cats. That birthday present is going to a cat convention known as Pop Cats. I have never been to a cat convention, and I love cats, so I thought it would be a great birthday present to myself especially since it is here in Seattle.

As I am informing you of the conventions, I am going be attending it reminds me of the communities I belong to and how important it is to continue to participate in those communities I am in. I’m part of the comic book community as I love comic books just like I am part of the cat community because I love cats as well as volunteer with cats. As someone who is in mental health recovery building community is huge. For me making sure that I belong to more than one community is key to my recovery. Hell, everyone belongs to multiple different communities.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is now time to cuddle with my cat, Billie.
