Just Realized I Have a Four Day Weekend

Hello World!!! I am just realizing that I have a four day weekend ahead of me because I forgot it was Memorial Day weekend so I am taking tomorrow (Friday) off to go to a four hour training that will help me with my chosen career. I also made a doctors appointment for tomorrow to follow up on some health care needs that I need to be taken care of.

First of all want to pay tribute to those who served in the military and paid the ultimate price for our country; death. They helped keep our freedoms and am grateful for their ultimate sacrifice.

Not on to some sad news that client of mine from work died by suicide. This was a shocker as this client worked really hard with their recover from depression and other stuff. This client is an inspiration to me in regards to keeping on the recovery path. I can not say more as I could be breaking the HIPAA Law. I am just sad that their depression got the better of them. At least they are no longer suffering.

On Saturday, I am going to go visit family and have some meals with them. It is always nice to spend time with family especially my grandpa. I love my grandpa so much. My grandpa is my hero.

On Sunday I will be volunteering at PAWS Cat City. I love volunteering with animals specifically. I look forward to Sunday mornings when I get some time with more kitties.

On Monday as well as other days when I have the time I will be reading a book. Not jut ay book but a Star Wars book. I love Star Wars and I love to read. I am really looking forward to this four day weekend.

Before I forget I will be spending time reading with my cat Billie which makes this weekend a good one.

On that note I don’t have much more to stay in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciate from my end that you the reader, read my blog. As I sit here hat home in Seattle with my cat Billie Dean, I wish I was with my grandpa but I understand why he want to go alone and not make anyone jealous or envies. It’s also nice to just be home alone with my cat Billie.

As far are as my job goes, it is still up in the air and driving everyone including staff, clients and the count bat shit crazy. The Board of Directors want’s is closed completely however the county it is trying to keep the agency open. Honestly, I think the reality of it is that it will close.

I really wish I was in the other Washington (DC) with my grandpa but I respect his wishes and am happy his honor flight is finally happening. I am happy that I have friend and family sending cards to my grandpa for “mail call” during his honor flight.

Honoring Those Who Served Our Country

Good Afternoon, World!!! It has been just over two years of waiting for my grandpa to take the Honor Flight. Sadly, each and every time it got cancelled due to Covid-19. The pandemic ruined a lot of things for people including those who passed away awaiting to do the honor flight. I am beyond grateful that my 91 year old grandpa gets to go and that the woman he sat by is celebrating her 100th birthday today. I am thrilled that all those who were able to make the honor flight. I hope our veterans have the time of their lives as they gave us the freedoms we have.

I just wanted to thank everyone in the United States and their home countries for fighting for what they believe in. Everyone who serves their country deserves respect and a hug if they are up for a hug.

Thank you for reading my blog. Most importantly lets respect our military even if we don’t agree with each out. Our militaries keep us free and keep up protected. Peace Out, World!!!

A Memorial Day Post

Good Afternoon, World!!! The weather here in Seattle is a bit gloomy which is fitting for it being Memorial Day. Today is Memorial Day here in the United States and is a holiday that we remember our fallen troops. The one thing I do not understand is many people here in the United States don’t really understand what Memorial Day is all about and that saddens the hell out of me. I just wish I could do what I normally do on Memorial Day; put flags on the grave of fallen soldiers but sadly I cannot due to Covid-19.

Since it is a gloomy day here in Seattle, I will be spending it at home with my cat, Billie Dean. If Billie has his way, he will be spending Memorial Day in my lap and he will be getting his way in this aspect as he and I both need it today. I think we both need him to be in my lap today as it comforting to the both of us.

While Billie is in my lap sleeping, I will be watching one of my favorite childhood shows; The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. I do not know why but for some reason this show puts me at ease and calms me down. Maybe it is how he speaks or how he paints or maybe a combination of both. I also think the reason why I like the show so much it that Bob Ross makes the painting look so easy. I just love watching the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone enjoys your Monday. Please do not forget to take moment of silence for those who lost their lives fighting for our freedom. Peace Out, World!!!
