Recovery Focused Ramblings

Good Evening, World!!! Just a fore warning that this post most likely will ramble on about various things that I plan on doing for fun to help me look forward to something just in case my mental health symptoms start acting up. Thankfully, I am doing quite well mental health wise.

Speaking of mental health, I have some fun things planned. The fun things that I am looking forward to and ultimately will help with my mental health especially if the symptoms of my mental health diagnosis’s start acting up. Something I have come to realize during my years of mental health recovery is that no matter how good or bad things get, having something to look forward is a very good thing to have one’s life.

The first fun thing that I will be doing to going to the University of Washington versus Eastern Washington University football game in September. In fact, I bought the ticket earlier this evening. I am going by myself just for the hell of it. I got me a pretty good seat on the forty-yard line. I am not much of a football fan, but attending the football game is something to do and look forward to.

The second fun thing I have planned is going to Sea-Meow Con. It is a cat convention, and I am finally able to attend this particular one as I had the money to buy the VIP tickets for me and my partner as well as have the time to attend. I am not one hundred percent sure who will being doing meet and greets this year, but I am looking to doing them. When I went to Seattle Pop Cat Convention in April, they didn’t have meet and greets like Sea-Meow Con has. Sea-Meow Con is going to be held the first weekend of November.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Long Time No Blog

Happy Middle of the Night, World!!! I t has been nearly four months since I last blogged. I was supposed to post pictures of Seattle Pop Cat Convention and never did. I will post those pictures in this particular post. I’m honestly glad I want to Seattle Pop Cat Convention back in April. Before I continue writing here are the pictures from Seattle Pop Convention:

A cut out of a cat waving hi as people enter Seattle Pop Cat Convention
A cut out of a cat with butt crack facing you with a “Pop Cat” logo covering it as the cat looks back.
A cat figuring that I painted.

Now that the pictures from Seattle Pop Cat Convention I attended back in April now on to other things. Work is going extremely well, and I had my first annual review and met expectations in all areas. I’m grateful that I met expectations and am extremely pleased with how my employer does annual reviews. Not only does the supervisor review the employee and an employee self-assessment, but the employee can also have colleagues review them. To me this is more of an accurate account of my abilities as an employee than just my personal review and my supervisor’s review. I’ve worked hard at this job and really enjoy it.

Now, I am going back to talking about cats and cat conventions. I bought myself VIP tickets to Sea Meow Con last Friday. Sea Meow Con is in November. This is the cat convention that I’ve been wanting to attend for a couple of years and I am finally able to attend. It is only two days like Seattle Pop Cat Con but Sea Meow Con is the bigger cat convention here in Seattle. I’m glad it is being held in November as my depression starts acting up in mid to late autumn and last until mid to late spring. It gives me something to look foward to.

Let’s discuss blogging. I am going to do my best to blog on the more regular basis as I really want to keep you my reader more interested in reading my blog and not wonder when I will blog next. I really do enjoy blogging and I have some ideas of how to blog more regularly, but I won’t bore you with that right now especially since it is something I have written about quite frequently.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie as I attempt to go to sleep.

Middle of the Night Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! It is almost three o’clock in the morning here in Seattle and I am having trouble once again. I am pretty sure that the reason I am unable to is a combination of insomnia and C-PTSD. Dealing with both sucks especially when they are both acting up at the same time.

My health has not been the best lately. Mainly due having a kidney stone since February and getting a stint to help pass the kidney stone. I am unsure if the kidney stone has passed or not, but I will be having a procedure done this Tuesday to help the kidney stone pass if it hasn’t pass yet as well to get the stint out.

On a more positive note, I went to Seattle POP Cats Convention yesterday and willing be attending again later today. It is my first ever cat convention. Not as big as comic cons but still worth attending. I am so glad that I chose to attend. There is also another cat convention here in Seattle in November. It is called Sea-Meow Con. I am planning on attending when they go on sale.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie as I attempt to go back to sleep.
