Weekly Check-In
Good Evening, World!!! Overall, this week has been an okay week with some challenges. Challenges that suck at times but I am grateful for the support I have from other people in my life including my therapist. In fact one of the things I did this week was see my therapist for our regular appointment as well as a phone check in. Both of the phone check ins as well as my regular appointment with my therapist went well. My regular appointment is normally an hour but we were able to do an hour and a half due to my therapist’s next appointment cancelling. It was a hard session but I am so grateful for being able to receive mental health treatment as well as have an amazing therapist.
As far as volunteering is going, it is going great. I volunteered my regular shift on Sunday as well as doing two additional shifts. One on Wednesday after my session with my therapist and earlier this evening. The extra shift I did this evening was unexpected and I am grateful that I live near PAWS Cat City and was available to help out. I love volunteering at PAWS Cat City.
Another thing I did this week was hang out with some friends I have not seen in years. They are here in the Seattle area for vacation and it was good to see them. We had some awesome meals at local restaurants here in Seattle that my friends were impressed with. My friends are now camping and I will see them before they head back home to California. I am always happy to see old friends.

Daily Prompt; What is Your Favorite Restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Red Robin. I have been going to Red Robin since I was a kid living in California. I would go to Red Robin as a teenager in California as well as here in Washington (State) whenever I went to the mall with my friends. In fact Red Robin started here in Seattle. Most people don’t realize that. I love going to Red Robin with friends as well as family. In fact it is a family tradition to go to Red Robin for birthdays. Red Robin has awesome food and I usually get the same thing. I love Red Robin.

A Sleepless In Seattle Type Of Night
Good Morning, World!!! It is just after three o’clock in the morning here in Seattle. I am sadly unable to sleep for unknown reasons. I am thinking it is due to insomnia which sucks shit. I am not a big fan of insomnia and not being able to freaking sleep. It would be great if I could sleep. I could have used my as needed sleep meds but I really didn’t want to as it is controlled substance and don’t want to get addicted to it as well not have my body get use to it to where I need it more often.
Since I have been unable to sleep, I have been cuddling with my cat, Billie. In fact as I cuddle with my cat, Billie, I have been watching movies on streaming sites. As I watched movies as I cuddled with my cat, Billie most of the night, I also snacked on a bunch of junk food. Junk food I love such as popcorn, ice cream, and other such things.

So Far, It’s Been a Good Sunday
Good Evening, World!!! It has been quite a day. I started off the day like any other by doing my mindfulness meditation practice and then my morning walk. I, then volunteered at PAWS Cat City which I always enjoy doing. After volunteering, I went home and got Billie ready to go to Junior’s as we will be staying at his place for a few days. Junior then picked me up and we dropped Billie off at Junior’s place.
After dropping Billie, my cat, off at Junior’s place we met up with friends at Red Robin to have lunch. I love me some Red Robin. Red Robin is my favorite restaurant and I usually get the same thing ninety-nine percent of the time. I had a great time with Junior and our friends as we ate some yummy food from Red Robin.
When we were done with lunch Junior and I went to Greenlake and walked around it a couple of times as it is a beautiful day here in Seattle. Greenlake was a bit crowded due to the nice weather. I am so glad to have good weather today as weather here in Seattle can be a bit temperamental this time of year.
Now that we are back at Junior’s place we have been watching movies and eating junk food. We have been watching movies that we loved when we were kids. I am enjoying the cuddle time with Junior as we watch movies. Hell, we will continue to watch movies as we cuddle and eat junk food.
