Sunday Evening Ramblings

Good Evening, World!!! I still have a mild headache from the concussion and the fire alarm going off due to it being maliciously being pulled by a neighbor. Despite still having a mild headache, I have doing things to help keep my mind distracted. I have been doing everything from recovery related workbooks to continuing education courses to some math. Yes, I said math. I been doing all this with my cat, Billie on my lap. Oh, how I love my cat, Billie.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Concussion + Fire Alarm + Anger = A Headache

Good Afternoon, World!!! Right now, I am dealing with a major headache on top of dealing with symptoms from my PTSD. I have a headache because I have concussion and on top of that a neighbor keeps pulling the fire alarm which doesn’t help the headache. Loud noises like a fire alarm are not helpful for a concussion or headache.

Anyway, my anger is fuming at the moment because one of my neighbors keeps pulling the fire alarm pull stations. I am not the only person who is angry over this situation and there is nothing my neighbors and I can do about the neighbor pulling the fire alarm. It is angering me because I keep having to put my cat, Billie in his carrier to evacuate. My cat, Billie and the other animals in the building including the humans should not have to deal with a neighbor pulling the fire alarm for no reason at all. It is also angering me because it triggers my PTSD as I have been in two fires when I was a child. I am sure if my cat, Billie could talk human he would say it angers him as well.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except that I hope my headache goes away.

Home From the Emergency Room

Good Afternoon, World!!! I am finally home after six hours in the emergency room. I was in the emergency room for a concussion caused by me not paying attention to my surroundings. Meaning that I was not paying attention to where my cat, Billie was. My cat, Billie was walking close to me, and I tripped over him and hit my head on the corner of my kitchen counter. I have a gash in my forehead that needed stitches which I got and sadly have a concussion as well. I am pretty sure that I am going to rest for the remainder of the day and lay low as I really don’t want to deal with people right now. Laying low is a good thing to help with my concussion and I look forward to spending time with my cat, Billie.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except that I hope my pounding headache goes away quickly and that my concussion heals quickly.

In the Emergency Room

Good Morning, World!!! It looks like I will not be able to volunteer at PAWS Cat City this afternoon. The reason is I am currently in the hospital. Specifically, I am in the emergency room. I am in the emergency room because I tripped over my cat, Billie and ended up hitting my head on the corner of my kitchen counter. I thankfully didn’t lose consciousness, but I am really glad that my friend was with me when it happened. I do have a big gash on my forehead that needed stitches. I had a couple of tests done like a CT scan and an MRI to make sure nothing major is going on in my brain. The doctors do suspect that I have a concussion, and I really hope that is all I have. Yes, I know concussions are bad but if that is all I have on top of a gash in my forehead with stitched then I will take it.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except I hope that I get discharged from the emergency room sooner than later and that I only have minor concussion with a gash in my forehead that has stitches.

Up Way Too Early, Again

Good Morning, World!!! It is three fifty-one in the morning here in Seattle and I have been awake since around three o’clock in the morning. I wish I did not wake up this early, but I did. I ended up starting my period during the night when I was sleeping which sucks. To make matters worse my cramps are worse than normal. I am sure you the reader don’t want to hear about my period, so I am going to change the subject.

As much as I wish I could fast asleep this early in the morning on a Sunday, I am happy that my cat, Billie is so cuddly. As I cuddle with my cat, Billie, I have been reading. I have been reading a book that is in the dark fantasy and queer genres. In fact, I am reading a really good book series known as Fire & Brimstone by Nikole Knight. I am on the third book of this series, and I am grateful that I found this series as it is really good. It is a six-book series.
