Ready to go to Bed & It’s Not Even 6:00pm

Good Evening, World. According my clock on the wall in my living room, it is 5:30pm here in Seattle and I am tired as hell. I am so ready for bed. Hell, I might even go to bed early which means, I most likely will go to bed after I finish writing (and posting) this particular blog post. I’m not sure why I am so tired but I know why I have been so relaxed and calm today especially this afternoon and evening.

I took a mental health day off from work today due to some light burnout. On that note, I have been home all day doing self care acts knowing it will help with my slight burnout. I started out the day by using the calm app to do some mindfulness meditation. I also did a couple other mindfulness meditation practice they have. On top of that I was able to do some check ins with the calm app and see how helpful it was and is to me.

Another thing that helped me get relaxed and calm is my cat Billie Dean. Billie appears to know when I need extra cuddling time to get myself calm. On that note I was able to do some mindfulness meditation with Billie, my cat laying on my lap for two and half hours.

Despite the lack of sleep last night I really think doing mindfulness meditation helped me become more sleepy. That is why I am considering that my bedtime for today will be about six o’clock in the evening here in Seattle.

Since I don’t have much more to say except goodnight and thank you for reading my blog. If it weren’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Goodnight and Peace Out World!!!

Burnout is Real; Mental Health Day off From a Job I Love

Good Morning, World!!! I am starting to feel some burn out on my much loved job. My work colleagues, the supervisors and the leadership team are supportive of me taking off time for my mental health as well as the burnout I am slightly feeling at the moment which I am grateful for because they have my back just like my colleagues do.

So, I am planning on doing a day of self care today. That would include reading books and of course comic books are included in that list. I love me some science fiction and fantasy books as well as some pretty awesome comic books.

Another thing I plan on doing is some art work. Specifically, the art I will be doing is some coloring. While I color, I either listen to some music whichever genre fits my mood at the time or listen to a podcast about philosophy. Specifically, if I listen to a philosophy podcast as I color, I listen to “Philosophize This” which is an awesome podcast.

I am hoping doing this self care mental health day off will help with my slight burnout. I am grateful for a supportive employer. My employer is so awesome.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post except it was nice to sleep in. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you again from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Idiot Neighbor Pulled Fire Alarm, Again

Good Fucking Morning, World!!! Hell, it’s barely after midnight here in Seattle and my stupid ass neighbor pulled the fire alarm again because a different neighbor from last night was not wearing their mask in the common areas of the apartment building. As much as I wish people would wear their mask that is NOT a FUCKING reason to pull the fire alarm.

The firefighters are just as angry as we neighbors are because this idiot at least admits he pulls the alarm but all the fire department can do is fine the asshole and asshole isn’t paying the fines. The fucking Seattle Police can’t do shit because puling the fire alarm when it is not an emergency is only a misdemeanor and the cops aren’t arresting those with misdemeanors because the fucking county jail are accepting misdemeanor arrest due to this stupid ass pandemic know as Covid-19. All I want is some fucking sleep.

Not only does the fire alarm affect me and my neighbors it affects the animals in the building including my cat, Billie. He is one very unhappy camper when the fire alarm goes off and I don’t blame him. He just doesn’t exactly understand what is happening and why he needs to put into his carrier and leave the apartment which is his home. I feel really bad for my cat, Billie Dean as well as the other animals in this building.

Well this rant of a blog post is over with. I don’t have anything else to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
