Hello, World!!! My anxiety is increasing as tomorrow gets closer. Even though I’ve had my first week of work it was mostly done remotely or in person with the HR and IT departments which is at different location that I will be working at. See tomorrow in my first day at my job site and I am nervous as fucking hell. I know it is okay to be nervous but not just anxious about my first day at my job site.
I am nervous about having to take public transportation again. The last two years I’ve been either working from home or taking Lyft to and from work due to Covid-19 as I was trying to limit the amount of exposure I could get. I’m not so worried about the exposure as much due to having the vaccine, the booster and actually being diagnosed with Covid-19 the day after I got the booster. Covid suck shit and I know there is a possibility of getting it again but that is not why I’m worried about using public transportation. I’m nervous because, I’ll be taking a route I’ve never taken before. I’m nervous because even on routes, I am familiar with, there are times I have to get off due anxiety and/or PTSD issues and would have to wait for the next bus so I could be in a better head space to be back on the bus. I know everything will be fine but I’m still anxious about it. I just to get use to public transportation again as well as a new route to me.
When I get home from work tomorrow I am sure my cat Billie dean will be more than happy that I am home. Hell, Billie is always happy when I get home even if it is for five minutes for checking my mail or taking out the garbage. I’m more than certain that I will be just as happy to be home as my cat will be.

Hello, World!!!! I went to work today via going to the office tomorrow. I love going into the office as it gives me more proactive ways to do to do some work. I love my job and am sad that my employer is going under which means everyone is getting laid off. I am concerned about my clients that my employer serves. The need the help they need in the queer community .
On that note I had to go to the hospital due to having an injury. I have some major bruisers and a broken finger. My boss says I could work from home due to my injury. I love my job and that y supervisor isn’t a micromanager. My servicer is awesome.
I am happy to be home with my cat and he is helping me with the grief of being laid off from my employer. I love the fact that he comforts me with the grief with the laid offs.
I do not have much ore to say about this particular blog post. I want to thank you for reading my blog.
Happy Friday, Morning, World!!! As much as I really don’t want to work today, I am looking forward to it. In fact Fridays is one of the days I actually work from the actual office and not from home. There are pros and cons from working from both the office and from home.
The plus side of working from the office is that it appears that I am more productive. Another plus to working in the office is I get to see a half dozen or so colleagues in person. Plus, the cool thing is I get to have a couple of in person sessions with clients.
As far as working as working from home I enjoy it but sadly, I am not as productive. I do have to say working from home remotely has made my colleagues and I more closer as co-workers because we make an effort to have “get togethers” even if its only once or twice a week via Zoom after work hours. I another reason why I like working from home is I get to sleep in a bit longer and wear comfortable clothing from the waist down. My “professional” clothing is mostly comfortable. The best part from working from home is have my cat be my colleague. With that being said, my cat, Billie Dean, is sometimes the reason why I get so distracted working from home. Another plus is if I’m working from home and having a virtual appointment, sometimes my cat makes an appearance which helps build a positive rapport with clients.
Even though I haven’t met all my colleagues in person yet, I am grateful that I have become friends with them. In fact I have become close friends with three of my colleagues which is cool. I love the people I work with and love my job.
I have to get going and finish getting ready for work since I go into the office today which is why I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. I hope everyone has a beyond awesome weekend ahead of you. Happy Friday and Peace Out, World!!!
Good Afternoon and Happy Friday, World!!! Usually, this time of day, I am working from the offices. Well, today I am working but I am working from home. Of course, my cat, Billie Dean is helping with my work. Actually, it more like Billie giving me snuggles and lap time as I work from home.
Part of the reason why I am working from home is because I did not sleep well last night due to insomnia so I had the option of working from home. I am grateful that I have the ability to work from home today as I was able to take a couple of naps. To be honest with you all, I would rather work in the office than at home as I get more work done when I am in the office than working from home.
As challenging as it is working from home is at times, I am glad its Friday and that I can just put my work computer away. Usually, I would have to take public transportation home from the office so working from today is a good thing. I am just so tired and want to curl up and take a nap with my cat Billie.

Good Morning, World!!! It is Monday and the typical start of another work week. I personally don’t start work till twelve noon on Mondays. In fact Mondays are one of the two days I go into the office. I like the fact that I go into work on Mondays and Fridays as it makes my weekend feel like a weekend. I also enjoy working from home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There are pros and cons to working in the office as well as working from home.
Despite having increased depression symptoms, I am grateful to be going into the office to work today. I think getting out of the house will help with the depression. I am also grateful that working helps with the depression. As much as I wish I didn’t struggle with depression, the depression is what helps me with my job as I need lived experience with a mental health challenge to have my job. As you can tell, I am trying to look at the silver lining in things at the moment.
The part I don’t like about going into the office is I don’t get to spend the day with my cat, Billie Dean. I really love my cat and miss him when I am not with him. Billie is my pride and joy. In fact Billie is my emotional support animal (esa) and helps with my depression a great deal. I love Billie so much.
