Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! It is that time of the week to do my weekly check-in. I do not have much to discuss except for me starting my new job. I only work three days a week and this past week wasn’t the usual week due to the fact I have many trainings and orientations that I have done and will have to do. Some of it is review from previous trainings at previous employers such as HIPAA. I do have to say most trainings I attend even if it is a review for me, I learn something new or a new way to do things. I look forward to what the new job holds.

As far as work goes it is going to be an adjustment for me and my cat, Billie. Billie and I are very much attached to each other. Anytime I am gone for any length of time even for five minutes to check my mail, I get “yelled” at by Billie. I love my cat so very much. It is nice coming home to a cat especially my Billie. I am so grateful to have Billie in my life.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Had An Awesome Birthday Weekend

Good Morning, World!!! It is Monday morning here in Seattle and it is no longer my birthday weekend. In fact, my birthday and birthday weekend was amazing. On my actual birthday, which was Friday, I received awesome news that I got a part time job at my dream employer. On top of that my friends and partner made my birthday amazing by taking me out dinner at my favorite restaurant which is Red Robin. My partner made me breakfast in bed the entire weekend. I have some amazing people in my life.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Birthday Weekend Continues

Good Morning, World!!! My birthday weekend continues, thanks to my wonderful partner, Junior. Yes, yesterday was my official birthday but Junior wants to make sure my birthday is wonderful, and it has been wonderful. My partner and I went out to breakfast with my best friend and her partner at the Blue Star Cafe and Pub. The food was delicious as always. Also, my partner and I will be going out to dinner with a group of our friends to Red Robin for my birthday. Red Robin is my favorite restaurant, and I love their food. I am grateful for awesome people in my life and that they want to celebrate me even though I am uncomfortable with it. I am uncomfortable with it due to the trauma I dealt with as a child but at least I know I have people who care about me.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except that I will post more about my birthday this weekend.

Birthday + Job Offer = Best Birthday Gift Ever

Good Evening, World!!! It is still my birthday and I think I got one of the best birthdays gifts a person could get. I got a call today from the program manager who interviewed me last week and was offered a job. I, of course, accepted the job offer. I am so grateful that I got the job especially being informed that I got it on my birthday.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except that I will post more about my birthday this weekend. A Great Start to My Birthday

Good Morning, World!!! It is my birthday, and I am awake earlier than I would like to be on my birthday but there is a good reason as to why I am awake early on my birthday. I am at my partners, Junior’s place with my cat, Billie. Anyway, Junior woke me up and served me breakfast in bed. He made me French toast, scrambled eggs and chocolate milk. After breakfast in bed, Junior and I had some intimate moments. Intimacy that felt good and I am grateful for. I am so very happy that Junior is so respectful and loves me even with all my challenges. Junior making my birthday start special is so very awesome of him to do and it truly makes me feel special.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except that I hope I continue to have a great birthday. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. I Am Awake Way Too Early

Good Morning, World!!! I am awake way too early. Since I am awake way too early, I decided to blog although I wish I was still asleep. It is hard to believe that tomorrow at this time, I will another year older. Tomorrow is my birthday, and it is my first birthday that I am celebrating since both of my parents died. I am extremely sad over this. I really wish they were both still alive to celebrate my birthday with me and sadly that is not the case.

Speaking of my parents being dead, I saw my therapist yesterday and we discussed the increase of my PTSD symptoms. We discussed how shaken I was and am on how much my PTSD symptoms have increased. My therapist informed me that it is common for people who experienced trauma in their childhood that people will experience an increase of PTSD symptoms after one and/or both of their parents’ deaths. I didn’t know this, but I was not shocked by it. To make matters worse, I was looking over some paperwork I need to fill out regarding my dad, and I remembered some stuff that happened to me by my now ex stepbrother. As much as I don’t want to remember the shit, I have been through I am grateful that I have a therapist to help me through it.

Wednesday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! It is Wednesday morning here in Seattle and I am tired as hell. I did not sleep very well last night. It was partly due to the fact that I have been ruminating about the job I interviewed for Tuesday of last week. I am ruminating about it because I am wondering if I got the job or not especially since they asked for references. I was informed that I would hear back from them by the end of this week at the latest. I am starting to doubt that I am getting the job, and I really would like this job.

On that note, I am seeing my therapist later on this morning. I have been bottling up my anger and not doing what helps. Thankfully, I have not emotionally exploded on anyone but that is a concern of mine. I figure if I can discuss my anger with my therapist, it could be helpful. I am not angry with my therapist, but I am grateful that she can hold space for me especially when I am dealing with my anger. I am grateful to have a therapist that allows me to feel all the feels and lets me show them.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Still Waiting for Amazon to Deliver Packages

Good Afternoon, World!!! I am still waiting on two packages I ordered from Amazon. One package has a couple of books in it while the other has a couple recovery related workbooks. I know I should have had them delivered to an Amazon locker, but I also didn’t realize that one of the packages would be delivered a day late. I just hope I get both packages today especially since I paid extra money for the math books to be delivered yesterday. Sadly, Amazon refuses to refund the extra money I paid for delivery to happen yesterday regarding the math books I ordered.

As I have been waiting on my Amazon packages, I have been dividing up my time between doing some math and recovery related workbooks. As I have been working on the math and recovery related workbooks, I have been eating some Girl Scout cookies. I love Girl Scout cookies especially the Thin Mints. Who doesn’t like Girl Scot cookies? I am so very grateful for Girl Scout cookies.

Waiting On Amazon to Deliver Packages

Good Morning, World!!! I am currently waiting on Amazon as I am expecting some packages to be delivered today. In fact, one of the packages that should be delivered today was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I am expecting two packages to be delivered by Amazon. One of the packages has three recovery related workbooks while the other package has two math books in it.

In fact, as I wait on my two packages from Amazon, I am going to work on the current math book I am doing as well as work on one of the recovery related workbooks that I am doing. Focusing on building on current skills such as coping skills and math skills is a form of self-improvement. For me self-improvement is something that helps keep me focus on my recovery. Of course, as I do some math or one of my recovery related workbooks, my cat, Billie will be laying next to me or on my lap. Oh, how I love how my cat, Billie is a love bug and lap kitty.
