It’s Been A Long Day

Good Evening, World!!! It has been a long day for various reasons. One of those reasons was due to work as well as some news myself and the team I work on regarding our boss. I love my job most of the time and today was a mixture of loving it and being frustrated but mostly loving it.

The news regarding my supervisor didn’t come of a surprise but was somewhat frustrating for me especially since he is a very sweet guy. My supervisor has been on leave or FMLA for most of the summer like last year. His leave was supposed to end tomorrow (Friday) with him returning this Monday. Apparently, he resigned today via email with his supervisor saying that tomorrow (Friday) will be his last day. My colleagues on my team and I are not surprised by this, but we all wish he would have informed us sooner. I’m truly hoping that he is doing okay as I worked with him at a previous employer. There is a lot of uncertainty on my end regarding who the new boss is going to be and will do my best not to worry about it till there is a new boss.

After work I went to go get my meds. I was going to do it yesterday (Wednesday) but didn’t feel like doing it. Some of my meds help with the symptoms of my mental health diagnosis’s. Taking meds for my mental health is just one part of my mental health recovery.

One of the other things that helps with my mental health recovery is reading. On the way home from work and picking up my meds, I went to a used bookstore and bought me a book. Technically it is three books in one by Orson Scott Card. The books are The Memory of Earth, The Call of Earth and The Ships of Earth. I am looking forward to reading all three books in one book.

I do not have anything else to discuss or share or to write about in this particular blog post except to say it is time to cuddle with my cat, Billie and read. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Taking the First Two Hours Off of Work

Good Morning, once again, World!!! This should be a relatively short post. I am taking my first two hours of my work shift off due to the reasons why I need some extra sleep. I am a little pissed that I have to do this but I need the sleep yet I need to do much needed notes but at least I have time to do notes this afternoon. I just want to make sure I see my clients. They are the important part of my job. The supervisors all contacted be back “thanking” me for being so “on top of things.” I’m only doing my job. I just want to make sure I am present with my clients and not a cranky bucket.

I wish my neighbors would realize that their actions affect everyone in the apartment building. Some of us do have jobs and most of have us have a mental health issue and or addiction issue. It is something I am going to have to radically accept from DBT. Thankfully my cat has been helpful with emotional ups and downs or the morning.

I don’t have much more to say except thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated. I hope you have a great Wednesday ahead of you. Peace Out World!!!

Grateful for the Weekend

Happy Friday Evening, World!!! I am now off work for the weekend and am grateful to have the time off. On that note my direct supervisor is back from leave and I am more than thrilled that she is back. I am beyond thrilled she is back because she supervises with a style that not only can I learn from her but she can learn from me. I really like the fact that my supervisor is willing to teach me as well as learn from me. Not very many supervisors do that.

Now that the weekend has officially started for me I plan to just sit back really not do much. My weekend will consist of doing art work and listening to podcast. Specifically, the type of art work I will be doing is coloring. Coloring is a form of mindful meditation practice for me. While I color this weekend, I will me listening to a podcast on philosophy. The specific podcast on philosophy that I will be listening to while I color is Philosophize This. I love learning things as I create things.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post except that I am so happy it is the weekend. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope you all have great weekend. Happy Friday and Peace Out, World!!!

A Thousand Words to Say Yet Nothing Comes Out But Tears Through the Eyes

I am continuing to love my job and try to help wear I can. It appears that I am being bullied slightly at work. I’m being bullied by a white person because I am sticking up for my colleagues the identify as part of the BIPOC community. I did what I needed to do and all I want is everyone to be treated with respect no matter what what they identify as. Sadly, I am being bullied by a white colleagues. During the meeting only one person was against me as my team had my back. I felt I have the back of most of my colleagues including my supervisor. My supervisor is just one amazing human being. and am grateful to for her to be on board.

I learned a great deal about my colleagues and how supportive they are with dealing with such a bully in the work place. My Supervisor came by my -place to take our cats out for walks and for we can meet in person for the first time. I’m grateful for her checking up on me and a mutual walk with our cats. Our cats got along great.

I know there is bully at my place at work and I feel like it getting taking care off. I like the fact that my colleagues might be come friends. Love being about to talk about cat stuff instead of just work. I love cast

I do not know what else to say for the day expect a great big thank you. Thank you for reading.
