Painting to Help Through Axiety

Hello, World!!! I am doing better than I was than my last post. I have been painting the last few hours. Painting has helped me express my emotions when I can not seem to put word to my emotions. One of these days I will share more paintings with you.

Unexpected Anxiety

Hello, World!!! I am struggling at the moment. I am have some severe anxiety symptoms for some reason. I have had a relatively good day.

I mean I spent time with my family. I made them lunch. Despite my dad being a little cranky and getting on my nerves all was good. My family was grateful that I made plenty of food for leftovers. It’s always nice spending time with my family.

I then came home and had a friend come over. She stayed for about an hour as she needed to get home to her family. But it was nice to visit with my friend for an hour. I love spending time with this friend even for a limited time.

Preparing for the Social Security Office

Good Morning, World!!! I am preparing to go to the Social Security office as they stopped giving me my hard earned money, I paid into the system. I am not looking forward to it as the Social Security office gives me really high anxiety.

To help me at the Social Security office I’m taking some stuff to help me while I wait. One thing I will be taking is one of my workbooks. A workbook about recovery and your strengths. Another thing I will be taking is my Star Wars book that I started read on Sunday. Reading is a great time to kill time while you wait.

All I Want Is…

Good Morning, World!!! Right now all I want is sleep. I haven’t been to sleep yet. I just want to get to sleep especially since I have to be up in less than three hours to go to the social security office.

I have been reading my Star Wars book when I haven’t been pacing or trying to sleep. I think the reading is helping me through long hours of not doing anything as well as my anxiety.

Working Through Depression & Anxiety

Good Evening, World!!! I am still struggling with the depression as stated in my last post. When I realized that my depression was still acting up, I needed to eat dinner. I had Macaroni and Cheese and Fried Chicken. Eating helped both the depression and anxiety.

I may not know why the depression is acting up but I know why the anxiety is acting up. It is acting up because I am going to the social security office tomorrow. I don’t do well when I go to the social security office. My anxiety acts up when I am there for some reason.

I have been reading my Star Wars: Heir To The Empire book. I am really enjoying the book immensely. I hope to write a book review on it when I am finished with it. For me reading has been quire helpful for me as of lately.

3 Hours of Reading & Trying to Sleep

Good Morning, World!!! I am still awake. After my last post I was hoping to get back to sleep. I, unfortunately was unable to do so.

I think not being able to get back to sleep is due to my anxiety. Not only is my anxiety acting but my depression is acting up as well. Not sure why but it is. Maybe its due to the lack of sleep.

I have been reading the last three hours when I wasn’t trying to get back to sleep. I am grateful I chose to read the Star Wars book. I know I have said this before but it is an easy read or eye candy as I like to call it.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! I am still struggling with some depression from yesterday. Not sure why but I am. I am also dealing with some anxiety. My weighted blanket has been a life saver the last couple of days.

Right now I am figuring out what I am going to do for the day. I already know that I will be working on my workbooks as well as read. I will also be spending time with Junior and our friends to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Depression Strikes, Again

Good Evening, World!!! Right now I am struggling with depression and anxiety. I am not sure why as it was an overall good day. Symptoms come at the most inopportune time especially those associated with PTSD.

I have been doing my workbook on mindfulness. It has been quite helpful for me working this workbook as well as the other workbooks I am doing. I am finding that using mindfulness is helping me with my reactivity and how I respond to things.

I also ordered three Star Wars books from Amazon as they were giving deals on Star Wars stuff. I got one of the books for free. I am looking forward to reading the Star Wars books as I am a huge fan of the Movies.

Speaking of reading I read today as well. I am finally getting some where in one of the books I am reading. It is finally getting good. I love to read.

Late Morning Ramblings

Hello, World!!! I am sitting here trying to figure out what to do with my day. I was suppose to go to a baseball game but the person who had the tickets gave them to a family who had never been to see a baseball game. I couldn’t be more proud of my friend as she did it out of love and compassion.

Life has a way to make you think. As much as I wanted to go to the baseball game to not have to deal with my reality of money and Social Security. Yes, I am worrying a little about it right now but I know in reality it is going to all work out.

I am loving my weighted blanket. It is proven money well spent. I slept well because of it last night. If you have the money to get one I recommend you get one if you have trouble with sleep and/or anxiety.

Midnight Ramblings

Hello, World!!! It is midnight in my corner of the world. I am up watching television. Actually, I am watching The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. I watch this show as it helps with my anxiety especially before I go to bed for the night.

Another thing that helps with my anxiety is the new weighted blank I got today. I really recommend it as it appears to be helpful. Or at least the twelve or so hours I have had it. I didn’t think it would be helpful and boy was I wrong.

I have been working on one of my workbooks. In fact I have been working on the workbooks that deals with mindfulness. Focusing on mindfulness as been quite helpful when I am dealing with.

I think the Ambien is starting to kick in. I think I should get some sleep before I get a little loopy from the Ambien.
