Sunday Funday

Good Afternoon, World!!! I realize it has been a few weeks since I last blogged and that was a brief post since it was a while before that since I blogged last. I hope that made sense to you. I am going to make more of an effort to blog more. I am not sure how I am going to do that besides scheduling blogging into my day as well going back to Weekly Plans every Sunday morning and Weekly Check-Ins every Saturday evening.

So, today is my work from home day. A day where I finish all my notes from the previous week as well as two phone sessions with clients and calling other clients to remind them of appointment with me or other members of the team I work on. Of course documenting (writing notes) on the clients I talked to today.

Of course, as I worked from home today, I had my cat, Billie sit on my lap or lay next to me. Billie is a great way to remain mindful especially doing dreadful notes so, insurance companies pay my employer. Billie is also a great help to keep me relaxed and mindful when talking to any client when they are discussing stuff that can trigger my symptoms of C-PTSD. I am grateful that Billie helps me mindful.

Speaking of being mindful, I have been doing two mindfulness meditations daily and a third mindfulness when I work. In fact the Calm App has a mindfulness meditation geared for work which I am very appreciative of. I find that daily mindfulness meditations help me not just do my better but helps my mental health symptoms stay more stable and is a form of self care for me.

Another form of self care for me is reading. Reading helps me in two ways depending on what type of book I am reading. Reading can help me learn new things or it can help escape my reality. The book I am reading is The Sorority Murder by Allison Brennan. The book I am currently reading happens to help me escape reality in a good way and not in a bad way like dissociation. Dissociation for me is not a good thing especially when I am in a bad space and thankfully, I am not in a bad space which is why I am reading. Reading helps me quite a bit.

Writing the last paragraph I thought of another thing to blog about when I finish a book. That is to blog a book review of a book I finish. I think that could keep you the reader interested in continuing to read my blog or at least I hope it does.

I do not have much more to discuss in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

It’s Been Too Long to Not Blog

Hello, World!!! It has been quite a while since I last blogged. I don’t have much of an excuse for not blogging with the exception of the last week. The last week I had Covid-19 once again. Covid sucks shit and am eager to get back to work tomorrow as I have been bored out of my mind watching nothing but television and movies via streaming sites. Of course my cat, Billie has kept me company the last week and am beyond grateful for his company and unconditional love.

I miss going to work and am eager to get back tomorrow. I have so much to catch up on at work. I love my job so much and I enjoy going to work.

I do not have much more to talk about in this particular blog. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

9 – Years Anniversary of Blogging

Good Evening, World!!! Today is a big day for me as today marks nine years since I started creating my blog. Little did I know I would be blogging this long despite sometimes having periods of time of not blogging. Just know I do my best to blog as often as I am able to do so.

I love to blog about my own struggles and triumphs of my mental health challenges and how I am able to learn for the triumphs and struggles. It gives me a sense of hope and strength when I am able to do work through my own personal journey of my recovery as everyone’s journey to their recovery looks different to everyone. I really hope I give some form of education to people along with hope when I share bits and pieces of my story as not everyone will connect with some peoples recovery story or journey to recovery as it looks different to everyone.

For me some of the self care I do for myself is do mindfulness meditation at least twice daily. Once in the morning and once in the evening before bed.Another thing is to take two daily walks; once in the morning and cones in the evening. I also take meds for my mental health stuff as well as see my therapist every other week. Most importantly, I have my cat. A cat that loves me unconditionally.

I do not have much more to say except thank you for reading my blog. I grateful for your readership. I hope you have a great week ahead of you. Peace Out, World!!!

Getting Back to Blogging on the Regular Basis

Good Morning, World!!! I have been doing some thinking and am wanting to get back to blogging on the more regular basis. I tend to go weeks and sometimes months without blogging and it really bothers me I am not keeping you my reader more engaged. So, I am going to start back up my “Weekly Check-Ins” this Saturday evening. I also plan on starting my “Weekly Plans” this Sunday morning before my volunteer shift.

Another thing I plan on doing is WordPress’s courses through their Blogging U. I will be doing four courses. Those four course are Finding Your Everyday Inspiration, Intro to Poetry, Developing Your Eye I and Developing Your Eye II. I will start with Finding Your Everyday Inspiration this Sunday and is a twenty day course. Then after I am done with doing Find Your Everyday Inspiration, I will do Intro to Poetry which is a ten day course. After Intro to Poetry I will then do Developing Your Eye I which is a ten day course. After I do, Developing Your Eye I, I will do Developing Your II which is another ten day course. All this will be a total of forty days in a row so I hope it becomes a habit to continue in the New Year as doing all four of these course will going into the New Year.

I do not have much more to discuss in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my perspective that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Everyday Inspirations; Day 15: Take a Cue from Your Reader

In an earlier “assignment” I was suppose to ask what would you like to blog about more or what topics. I didn’t ask because I either didn’t get a response or the response would take too much of my time looking up that topic. I usually take my cues from comments and the like people do as I know that is something to continue to keep writing about.

Up Way Too Early on a Saturday

Good Morning, World and Happy Weekend!!! I woke up at three thirty three this morning, Seattle time for no fucking reason. On that note if you regularly read my blog you know I have signed up for WordPress’s Blogging University free courses. Something I do is I sign up for them and let them build up to at least five assignments so I could do them at once so I could schedule them. I do this with a purpose of if I can’t blog for a while you keeps you the reader interested. Also, I hope it brings in new readers or readers who haven’t read my blog in a while.

So, I worked on Everydaynspiration post and am waiting on the last three assignments for this course so I can write them and schedule it. I also worked on the first six Developingyoureye l course and did the first six assignments and up waiting on the last four assignments for this course. Each course only sends out one assignment a day so now I’m up to date on two of the four courses I can finish them as the assignments show up in email. Then that way I can focus on the last two courses and schedule them as well. I as a blogger want to make sure I keep you the reader interested. Of course I will write unscheduled blog post like this one as I don’t want my blog to bore people.

I think I should get going as I think my cat is trying to tell me its time to go back to bed. Thank you for reading blog. Have a great weekend. Peace Out, World!

Billie Making an Amazing Announcement

Attention all, Billie has an awesome Announcement

This is very short post but WordPress informed Billie and I that today marks blogging twenty two days in a row. I think I’m getting my grove back in a way but Billie wanted to share the announcement with you all.

18 Days in a Row of Blogging

Good Afternoon, World!!! As of today, I have been blogging for eighteen days in a row as of today. Part of it because I started doing Weekly Plans on Sundays once again. My next hope is to do Weekly Check-Ins on Saturdays but I can use the excuse of doing courses WordPress puts on through Blogging University. I started by doing Everyday Inspiration which is a twenty day course. I also signed up for both of the Photography; Developing your eye one and two. Both courses are ten days each which equals twenty days. So that equals to forty days in a row. I also signed up of Intro to Poetry which is also a ten day course. If you add all the courses I’ve signed up for it equals to fifty days in a row. I also signed up for a five day course about commenting and intend to do the course in the middle the courses I am currently taking and/or signed up for.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
