No Sleep in Snowy, Sunny Seattle

IMG_0284.JPGGood Morning, World!!! It is a sunny day in Seattle with snow on the ground. As you can tell from the picture above the sun is starting to come up. I just wanted to show you snow in Seattle when it is light outside.

I didn’t get any sleep last night and hope I can be able to take a nap at some point today. I also need to do some household chores. Chores I don’t really want to do but need to be done.

Thank you for reading. It’s very much appreciated. Have a good day. Peace Out, World!!!

Sleepless in Snowy Seattle

Good Morning, World!!! I am unable to sleep however I am enjoying watching the snow fall. It is rare when it snows in Seattle so it is both exciting and annoying. Exciting because it is beautiful and not a common occurrence in Seattle. It is an annoyance because nobody really knows how to drive in snow here in Seattle counting myself. But then again I don’t have a car and take public transportation.

Besides watching the snow fall, I am watching the Winter Olympics. I am loving the fact that the Olympics are on as they have been quite helpful for me get through some rough moments as well as some sleepless nights like tonight.

I am get going and watch the snow fall as well as the Olympics. Thanks for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Woo Hoo!!! U.S.A Women Win Gold In Hockey!!!

Hello, World!!! I’m watching the United States versus Canada women’s hockey game and the U.S just won. Woo Hoo!!! As many of you know that the United States and Canada have a huge rivalry in hockey and tonight’s Gold Medal game went into a shoot out round to determine the winner. Happily and  surprisingly the U.S.A won.

Watching the Olympics have been quite helpful for me especially since my grandma passed away a week ago today. It’s been quite helpful for me during sleepless nights as well. I really miss my grandma and I think that the U.S.A winning the women’s hockey is a sign from my grandma that I do have the strength to carry on.

Thank you for reading my blog. It is much appreciated. Peace Out, World!!!

Wednesday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! I am tired as hell due to not getting any sleep last night. I am not to worried about it as I can sleep later on today. Or least when I get home from therapy I can take a nap. A much needed nap.

I have the morning news on and they said Billy Graham passed away at the age of 99. The news is say that he is “America’s Preacher.” I am not sure how to feel about this for a multitude of reasons which I will discuss at a later time.

Right now it is 24 degrees Fahrenheit outside. It being 24 degrees Fahrenheit outside here in Seattle is extremely cold for us. It’s been colder but its 24 is still cold.

I want to thank you for reading. Have a great day. Peace Out, World!!!

Mr. Sandman Must Be Too Cold To Stop By

Good Morning, World!!! It is now three o’clock in the morning in my neck of the woods and still am unable to sleep. I am not sure where Mr. Sandman is but I think he forgot to stop by to make sure I fell asleep. Or maybe it was just too cold that he didn’t want to stop by because he didn’t want to freeze his ass off. It is now 23 degrees Fahrenheit outside here in Seattle. Burr, its fucking cold outside.

Something that has been helping me a great deal tonight is watching the 2018 Winder Olympics. I really enjoy watching them. I may not like all the sports but I still watch all of the sports because I appreciate the athleticism of it all. The years of training it takes the individuals to get to this point in their lives is just pure amazing.

A sport that takes a lot training but won’t see in the Winter Olympics in baseball. I love baseball and spring training games start on February 23rd or at least they do for the Angels. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are my favorite baseball team. In fact they are my home team as I grew up in Anaheim. I miss it a great deal however I love Seattle just a much as I love Anaheim.

Thank you so much for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Sleepless in Frigid Seattle

Hello, World!!! It is one o’clock in the morning in my corner of the world. Right now I am having trouble sleeping. I am having trouble sleeping for a multitude of reasons. Actually, two reasons. First is due to the fact I am missing my grandma. Today marks one weeks since she passed away. Second is because of the physical assault that happened the other night.

It hasn’t been the easiest week for me yet somehow I am making it though. I am choosing to focus on my recovery. I am choosing to not harm myself when urges arise. I am choosing to live a life worth living for me.

All I can say right now is that it is freezing outside. It is 27 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I am not a big fan of cold weather. Hot weather I can deal with but not so much the cold weather. Maybe it is because I am from beautiful sunny Southern California.

Thank you for reading. It is appreciated. Peace Out, World!!!

Tuesday Night Ramblings

Hello, World!!! It is eleven thirty at night in my neck of the woods and it appears it could be a sleepless night for me. I’m not sure way I get that feeling but I do.

I think once I am done writing this post, I am going to work on one of my workbooks. I am going to work on The Queer & Transgender Resilience Workbook as I have been finding quite helpful for my recovery and gender identity. Being able to acknowledge my gender identity without shame is awesome. I am proud to be a gender non-conforming, non-binary, pansexual individual.

Being able to do workbooks is quite helpful for me and my recovery. I look at doing workbooks as part of the many things I do to be in recovery. Kind of like taking meds and going to therapy is apart of my recovery.

Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Still Sleepless in Snowy Seattle

Good Morning, World!!! I am still sleepless in Seattle. On the plus note I get to see the snow falling without worrying about needing to go out into it. Or at least not to later on. It is three o’clock in the morning and I don’t have to go out into till eleven o’clock in the morning when I go spend time with family. Snow in Seattle doesn’t happen all to often. We did have a White Christmas which is always a good thing. I am not a big fan of snow but I can’t deny that it’s not pretty because it is beautiful especially when you don’t have to go out into it.

Something I have been doing besides watching the snow fall is reading. I have been reading Wonder Woman comic books. I love being able to curl up with a few comic books, drinking hot chocolate on a cold winters morning. Yes, it’s the middle of the night morning but it’s still morning.

Another thing I have been doing is doing a Wonder Woman jigsaw puzzle. I love puzzles. this puzzle is one thousand pieces and quite challenging. Maybe when I finish with it, I will take a picture of it and post it.

I should get going and try to sleep. Have a great day everyone Peace Out, World!!!

Oh, How I Want To Sleep

Good Morning, World!!! All I want to do is right now is sleep. Right now as I blog, I am listening to some jazz music. Jazz music reaches my soul unlike any other genre of music.

Something else that I have been doing is reading. Tonight I have been reading a history text book and the part of history I am reading about happens to be the history of jazz. Kind of ironic that I am listening to jazz music. I have also been reading some Wonder Woman comic books. Wonder Woman is my favorite superhero. It appears that reading has been quite helpful for me the last few weeks especially the last few days since my grandma’s death.

I think I am going to go and read some more Wonder Woman while listening to some jazz music. Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! As I sit here at my laptop thinking about the sleep I got. Not the amount of sleep but the quality of sleep. I woke up this morning with drool on the Wonder Woman comic book I was reading last night. I fell asleep reading it and ended up getting good quality of sleep despite only get three hours of it.

Something I did last night besides reading and sleeping was watch the Olympics. For me watching the Olympics is helping me hold on to the hope that I finally got back when I was on an inpatient unit back in January. The Olympics not only brings hope to the world but brings it together like nothing else in the world.

I think I am going to get going. Thank you so much for reading. It is greatly appreciated from my end. Happy Weekend. Peace Out, World!!!
