A Lazy Sunday

Good Evening, World!!! It is a Sunday evening and it was a great day for many reasons. Lets start with how I started the day. I started the day by volunteering at PAWS Cat City. I love volunteering especially at an animal shelter where I can help animals and people alike. I get to help people get a new pet or should I say a new family member when they adopt a cat.

Speaking of cats, after volunteering, I came home to my cat who didn’t leave my side today. He was on my lap most of the day. He laid on my lap as I watched the last day of the Olympics. The Olympics were pretty cool this year despite it being held a year late due to a pandemic which is still going on. The Olympic tend to bring the world together even in the middle of the global pandemic.

It looks like this is going to be a short post as I do not have much more to talk about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. If it wasn’t for you my reader, I wouldn’t be blogging. I hope everyone has a great week ahead. Peace Out, World!!!

Feeling Better Regarding Depression

Good Evening, World!!! Right now my depression is slightly getting better. I owe it to self-care. Self-Care that is much needed for everyone even if you don’t have a mental health challenge. Self-care can be challenging for anyone especially when depression symptoms are acting up.

The first thing I did was do some mindfulness meditation practices. I am finding that starting off my day with some mindfulness and/or meditation practices that my day starts on a more positive note. I am also finding that if I schedule mindfulness and/or meditation practices throughout the day it helps me refocus on what needs to be done.

After doing some mindfulness meditation practice I took a shower. A much needed shower because I had not taken a shower since Monday. For me when basic hygiene like showering isn’t happening means I need to be extra aware of what is going on especially in regards to depression symptoms increasing and acting up.

When I was done showering and got I dressed I called my grandpa. I asked him if he would like to spend time with me. He said yes and he came to pick me up to hang out. We went out to breakfast. In fact I am surprised he let me pay for his meal. We ate at IHOP and had a great time.

Spending time with my grandpa helped my depression a great deal. When I got home I turned on the television to watch the Olympics. The moment I sat down, my cat, Billie Dean, quickly laid down on my lap. So my cat Billie and I watched the Olympics for about three hours. It was nice having Billie the Kat on my lap as I watched the Olympics.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I am happy I am taking care of myself to decrease the depression symptoms. I also want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you my reader read my blog. If it wasn’t for your readership, I wouldn’t be blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my hear for reading my blog. I hope you all have a wonderful evening. Peace Out, World!!!

Olympics 2020 + A Global Pandemic = A Year Late

Hello, World!!! The Olympics have finally started despite concerns of Covid-19 and it’s many variants. As much as I am grateful that the summer Olympics are going on even a year late, I worry about the health of the athletes. The last think I want is any of them getting sick especially from Covid-19. I love watching the Olympics and have been watching them since I was a child.

One of my favorite sports to watch in the Olympics is the track and field events. I don’t know why it’s been one of my favorite sports to following even when it hasn’t been an Olympic year but it is. Another one of my favorite Olympic sports is new this year and it is skateboarding. I skateboarded a lot when I was a kid and teenager. I was never any good at it but I am happy to see it is finally in the Olympics.

I don’t have much more to say except I am looking forward to watching the Olympics on the television. The Olympics seem to bring the world together in a way other things do not. There is a sense of peace when the Olympics are going on even during a pandemic.

I do not have much more to say in this post. I just hope the best team wins. Thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Friday Morning Bullsh*t

Good Morning, World!!! I, once again didn’t get any sleep last night. I am starting to get frustrated with this little to no sleep thing. I fear if I continue to not get any sleep that the symptoms of my mental health conditions will increase. This is something I’ll be discussing with Gilbert later on today.

If you been reading my blog the last couple of weeks, you know that I have been watching the Winter Olympics. It is something I have been enjoying and I am going to be sad when they end.

Todays starts spring training games for baseball. This means baseball is just around the corner. I love watching baseball. Hell, I loved playing baseball in little league. I wasn’t the best player on the team but I sure loved it.

Thanks for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Everyday Inspiration; Day 11: A Cup of Coffee

Hello, World!!! You would think living in Seattle I would love coffee but I don’t. I don’t like the taste of the yucky stuff but I love the smell. So, if you would go out to coffee with me I would most likely be having a cup of hot chocolate or some tea.

I’m not sure what we would talk about if we were to go coffee but I would hope we would talk about both the positive and negative stuff going on in our lives. Maybe would talk about the 2018 Winter Olympics and how they are about to end. Or even how the Olympics bring the world together in ways only sports can bring folks together.

Maybe I’ll talk about the loss of my grandma and how much she meant to me and my family. If we talk about my grandma, we would discuss how she was major influence on my life and a motherly figure to me.

Or we could talk about what is going on in your life. Whatever that may look like to you. We could talk about your family or sports or anything you want.

Thank you for reading. Have great day!!! Peace Out, World

Sleepless in Snowy Seattle

Good Morning, World!!! I am unable to sleep however I am enjoying watching the snow fall. It is rare when it snows in Seattle so it is both exciting and annoying. Exciting because it is beautiful and not a common occurrence in Seattle. It is an annoyance because nobody really knows how to drive in snow here in Seattle counting myself. But then again I don’t have a car and take public transportation.

Besides watching the snow fall, I am watching the Winter Olympics. I am loving the fact that the Olympics are on as they have been quite helpful for me get through some rough moments as well as some sleepless nights like tonight.

I am get going and watch the snow fall as well as the Olympics. Thanks for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Woo Hoo!!! U.S.A Women Win Gold In Hockey!!!

Hello, World!!! I’m watching the United States versus Canada women’s hockey game and the U.S just won. Woo Hoo!!! As many of you know that the United States and Canada have a huge rivalry in hockey and tonight’s Gold Medal game went into a shoot out round to determine the winner. Happily and  surprisingly the U.S.A won.

Watching the Olympics have been quite helpful for me especially since my grandma passed away a week ago today. It’s been quite helpful for me during sleepless nights as well. I really miss my grandma and I think that the U.S.A winning the women’s hockey is a sign from my grandma that I do have the strength to carry on.

Thank you for reading my blog. It is much appreciated. Peace Out, World!!!

Mr. Sandman Must Be Too Cold To Stop By

Good Morning, World!!! It is now three o’clock in the morning in my neck of the woods and still am unable to sleep. I am not sure where Mr. Sandman is but I think he forgot to stop by to make sure I fell asleep. Or maybe it was just too cold that he didn’t want to stop by because he didn’t want to freeze his ass off. It is now 23 degrees Fahrenheit outside here in Seattle. Burr, its fucking cold outside.

Something that has been helping me a great deal tonight is watching the 2018 Winder Olympics. I really enjoy watching them. I may not like all the sports but I still watch all of the sports because I appreciate the athleticism of it all. The years of training it takes the individuals to get to this point in their lives is just pure amazing.

A sport that takes a lot training but won’t see in the Winter Olympics in baseball. I love baseball and spring training games start on February 23rd or at least they do for the Angels. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are my favorite baseball team. In fact they are my home team as I grew up in Anaheim. I miss it a great deal however I love Seattle just a much as I love Anaheim.

Thank you so much for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Monday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! Brrr, its cold outside. I finally got some sleep last night. Much needed sleep. I am grateful for the sleep I got last night.

I started this morning out with reading the news paper and drinking some tea. Nothing really happy in the news except the Olympics and the Funnies. Another good thing in the news is Baseball. Spring training is going be starting soon. Another good news story is that a local urban loop trail reopens and I am so looking forward to the reopening.

It is a wee bit chilly here in Seattle. It is currently 28 degrees Fahrenheit. For Seattle that is really cold. I am not a big fan of the cold but at least it is sunny outside.

Thank you for reading. I hope to blog more later on today. Peace Out, World!!

A Sunny & Frigid Day In Seattle

Good Evening, World!!! Today has been one of those relaxing days that have had some rough moments. Junior and I hung out with my two uncles and grandpa today as it was the first time the family got together since my grandmas death. Unfortunately, my dad didn’t come due to the fact it is too hard for him right now. Going out to lunch would just be “too much” for my dad as not having my grandma their serves as a strong reminder that she is really gone. My dad “didn’t want to break down” in the restaurant. I don’t blame him as I almost broke down in the restaurant.

After spending time with my family, Junior and I came home (to his place) and have been taking it easy as it has been a beautiful sunny yet frigid day her in Seattle. We have been watching the Winter Olympics as we both love sports. Yet it has been difficult to watch the Olympics as we have been having many intimate moments. Moments we cherish.

As the sun starts setting on another day, I want to finish the post so I can spend time with the love of my life, Junior. I want more time cuddling while watching the Olympics. Thank you for reading. It’s much appreciated. Peace Out, World!!!
