Good Evening, World!!! I have been fighting off depression all day today. I haven’t left my apartment except to check my mail. Despite being depressed and in isolation mode, I have found ways to keep myself busy.
The main thing I did today was read Wonder Woman comic books. I did this as it appears reading Wonder Woman comic books give me the strength I need to get through difficult moments like the ones I have had today.
Another thing I did was watch the Seattle Storm sweep the Washington Mystics in the WNBA championship. Of course that means the Seattle Storm win the 2018 WNBA championship. I am proud of the Seattle Storm.
Now, I need to figure out what the hell to do next to combat this depressive episode I am struggling with. I think I am going to call some friends. Reaching out to others is helpful for me. I most likely will also do some coloring.
Lil Gertie, my cat, has been quite helpful to me today. She is an awesome cat. I think having Lil Gertie has proven to be a great investment for me. She has helped my mental health in many ways.
Thank you so much for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated. I hope everyone has a great evening. Peace Out, World!!!
Hello, World!!! Well, the protest made it to my neighborhood. There is major property damage in near by businesses. I don’t understand why people think it is okay to do property damage. How is their agenda going to be heard with violence. I know I don’t hear their message. They even damaged a local veterinary clinic. What kind of person does that?
Other than being pissed protesters did property damage, I am doing okay. Yes, I am still having some anxiety issue but they are not as severe as yesterday. I highly dislike having anxiety yet I have learned from the anxiety. Learned that I need to persevere through it.
Thanks for reading. Have a great night. Peace Out, World!!!
Hello, World!!! You would think living in Seattle I would love coffee but I don’t. I don’t like the taste of the yucky stuff but I love the smell. So, if you would go out to coffee with me I would most likely be having a cup of hot chocolate or some tea.
I’m not sure what we would talk about if we were to go coffee but I would hope we would talk about both the positive and negative stuff going on in our lives. Maybe would talk about the 2018 Winter Olympics and how they are about to end. Or even how the Olympics bring the world together in ways only sports can bring folks together.
Maybe I’ll talk about the loss of my grandma and how much she meant to me and my family. If we talk about my grandma, we would discuss how she was major influence on my life and a motherly figure to me.
Or we could talk about what is going on in your life. Whatever that may look like to you. We could talk about your family or sports or anything you want.
Thank you for reading. Have great day!!! Peace Out, World
Good Morning, World!!! It is now three o’clock in the morning in my neck of the woods and still am unable to sleep. I am not sure where Mr. Sandman is but I think he forgot to stop by to make sure I fell asleep. Or maybe it was just too cold that he didn’t want to stop by because he didn’t want to freeze his ass off. It is now 23 degrees Fahrenheit outside here in Seattle. Burr, its fucking cold outside.
Something that has been helping me a great deal tonight is watching the 2018 Winder Olympics. I really enjoy watching them. I may not like all the sports but I still watch all of the sports because I appreciate the athleticism of it all. The years of training it takes the individuals to get to this point in their lives is just pure amazing.
A sport that takes a lot training but won’t see in the Winter Olympics in baseball. I love baseball and spring training games start on February 23rd or at least they do for the Angels. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are my favorite baseball team. In fact they are my home team as I grew up in Anaheim. I miss it a great deal however I love Seattle just a much as I love Anaheim.
Thank you so much for reading. Peace Out, World!!!
Hello, World!!! It is 11:09 at night in my corner of the world. I have been watching the Olympics quite faithfully this time around. I am finding that watching the Olympics has been helping me with the loss of my grandma. I really miss her.
I’ve also been doing some mindfulness and meditation practices today. I am feeling some peace whenever I do a mindfulness practice. I have come to the conclusion that mindfulness and meditation is helpful for my recovery.
My recovery means the world to me and whatever I find helpful for it, is something I will continue to do. If you are person in recovery, I encourage you to find things that are helpful for you and your recovery.
Good Morning, World!!! As I sit here at my laptop thinking about the sleep I got. Not the amount of sleep but the quality of sleep. I woke up this morning with drool on the Wonder Woman comic book I was reading last night. I fell asleep reading it and ended up getting good quality of sleep despite only get three hours of it.
Something I did last night besides reading and sleeping was watch the Olympics. For me watching the Olympics is helping me hold on to the hope that I finally got back when I was on an inpatient unit back in January. The Olympics not only brings hope to the world but brings it together like nothing else in the world.
I think I am going to get going. Thank you so much for reading. It is greatly appreciated from my end. Happy Weekend. Peace Out, World!!!
Hello, World!!! I’m having trouble sleeping once again and it’s three o’clock in the morning in my neck of the woods. I am tired as hell and just want some sleep but this is why I am watching a repeat of the figure skating from last evening.
While watching the Winter Olympics, I’m more than likely going to be doing some art. Not sure if what type of art I’m going to be doing but I know I’ll be doing something. More than likely I’ll be doing a combination of collaging and painting. Maybe, I’ll even combine the two genre’s.
Thank you for reading. I hope everyone has a good Sunday and Peace Out, World!!!
