Good Evening, World!!! It’s another rainy Tuesday evening in Seattle. I have been off work from my new job for nearly an hour now. I absolutely love my new job and am thrilled that I decided to take this job.
Right now I am extremely anxious about my cat, Billie Dean’s veterinarian appointment tomorrow. He is having dental work done. Specifically, Billie will be having two teeth extracted and a teeth cleaning. I know it is routine and nothing to worry about but I am still anxious about it. The vet Billie goes to is just an amazing veterinarian and awesome human being. Sadly, due to the dental procedure Billie is having tomorrow he is now officially on a fast. Billie is not happy with me because he currently cannot have food. Even though Billie is a cat he is giving me the puppy dog look for food. Poor little dude. I love Billie so much.
I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I just want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my perspective that you read my blog. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Have a great evening. Peace Out, World!!!

Good Evening, World!!! One of my goals for the new year is to blog an average of twice a week. One of the ways I plan to accomplish this goal is to do my weekly check-ins every Saturday. Setting a regular schedule with my blogging with Weekly Plans and Weekly Check-In’s will help me accomplish one of my 2021 goals as I mentioned earlier in this paragraph.
As you may or may not know, I recently started a job as a peer specialist at a local mental health agency here in Seattle. Well, I finished up my third week at my new job and am like the job so far. It just so happened that my first three weeks at my new job, I only worked three days each week. I am glad it happened like this because I think it will help me with working a full forty hour work week starting next week. I am happy that my start date and the holidays allowed me start out with a three day work week for the first three weeks so I could get adjusted to working full time once again. I am really enjoying my new job.
As all of you know it is now the New Year. I celebrated New Year’s with friends via Zoom. We watched the light show that the Space Needle did. Watching the light show put on by the Space Needle to bring in the New Year was awesome. Spending it with friend via Zoom was even more awesome. My cat, Billie, watched the light show with me and my friends as well. It was cool that I was able to bring in the New Year with my cat, Billie as well as with my friends.
Well that is my weekly check-in and don’t have much else to say. I want to thank you for reading my blog. It means a great deal to me that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
Good Morning, World!!! It is officially the second day of the new year and as I stated in my last post, I would post my goals for this year. I set goals for the year and not resolutions. I make goals because I am more likely to accomplish them than a resolution. Not only that, goals are ever changing and resolutions not so much or at least that is how it is for me. My goals for 2021 are:
~ Finish The Mindfulness Workbook
~ Complete two workbooks (not including the above mentioned)
~ Clean apartment and maintain cleanliness
~ Maintain new job as a peer
~ Blog an average of twice a month
~ Read six books
~ Walk once daily
~ Mindfulness/Meditation practice twice daily
~ Continue to volunteer at PAWS Cat City
~ Reduce the amount of soda I drink
~ Go out of town at least one night every two months
~ Buy new laptop for myself
I realize I have many goals for myself this coming year. I am planning accomplishing them and when I do, I most likely will add another goal for myself. Something I do on the first of every month throughout the year is reevaluate my goals.
I don’t have much more to say about my goals and will end this particular blog post. Before I end I want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
Happy New Years, World!!! It is the first day of 2021 and it is a year of hope. A hope that is different that is different than in years past. The reason why the hope is different it because of the shit show of what 2020 was, that included a global pandemic.
Every year many people end with expectations and hopes of how the New Year will be. I think that this year is starting out differently than last year because we have learned that with all the expectations and hopes we had for last year, we need to change them and adapt. Adapt in ways we weren’t use to adapting. As 2021 starts I am realizing that being able to adapt to unexpected circumstances like a global pandemic will ultimately help me with my life and goals. A life worth living and goals to help me be a better person in this world.
For me my goals for the year will be something to accomplish as well as be ever changing. Some of my goals for this year are the same as last year due to not accomplishing them and am hopeful that they will be accomplished this year. I also have new goals for the year. I hope to share with you what my goals for 2021 are in a later post.
I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Happy New Year and Peace Out, World!!!
Happy New Year’s, World!!! It is still 2020 here in Seattle, Washington. 2020 has been a challenging year for the entire world. It has been challenging due to the stupid pandemic known as Covid-19. Sadly, many people lost their life due to Covid-19 and hope you my reader will take a moment to remember those who lost their lives. As we honor those who lost their lives, those of us still here have been in quarantine for most of the year or least some form of quarantine.
Seattle along with the rest of Washington (State) has been in quarantine for most of the year because Seattle was where the first cases of Covid-19 happened in the United States. You would have thought with being in quarantine for most of the year with most of Washington, I would have achieved most if not all of my goals but sadly I didn’t. On the positive note, I did accomplish my four top goals. The goals I accomplished was paying off my credit cards, starting to volunteer at PAWS Cat City, getting a new job and adopting my cat, Billie Dean. My cat, Billie did help me through the quarantine a great deal. On the note of goals, I will have some of the same ones as I want to accomplish the goals I did not accomplish. I do have new goals to accomplish as well.
As I look back on 2020, it was overall a better year for me than last year (2019) even through the pandemic. I think the year could have been much worse for me with the pandemic but I am very happy it was not and I learned a great deal about myself. I also think the year could have been better if it wasn’t for the pandemic but I am looking at the positive side of it all or at least trying to do so.
I don’t have anything more to say and this will be my last post of 2020 and I will see you all next year even though it is next year for most of the world already. I want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone has a great New Year. I also hope Covid-19 goes away in 2021. Happy New Years and Peace Out, World!!!

Happy Holidays, World!!! This is my cat, Billie Dean. Also known as Billie the Cat. The above pictures are of my cat, Billie who has some reindeer antlers on. For those who are visually impaired, may not be able to see Billie’s facial expression and just wanted to tell you that his face clearly states that he is not amused. I did put captions with what I thought he was thinking. I love my cat so much. Anyway, I thought I would share the pictures to help spread the holiday cheers.
Before ending this post, I want to wish you all a happy holiday season. I also want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you do read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!
Good Morning, World!!! I am awake sort of by choice due to needing to sleep during the day to work my last shift at my current employer. See, I work a thirteen hour night shift at my current employer. So, that is why I said, “sort of by choice” regarding sleep. I will miss the folks I work with as well as the clients I serve but I am glad to be leaving because night shifts suck especially such long shift and already having sleep issues.
So far the thing that has helped me stay up tonight was doing some art work. Specifically, coloring. I am coloring. I am coloring some holiday pictures. I love coloring and enjoy being able to color holiday pages. The one I am working on currently is a Hanukkah coloring page. In fact it is currently Hanukkah as we speak. Tonight will be the third night. The Hanukkah page I am coloring is for a friend of mine who celebrates Hanukkah. It is almost finished and I will be able to give it to her on Monday night.
As, I have been coloring I have been listening to a podcast. The podcast is about philosophy. The philosophy podcast I am listening to is “Philosophize This.” I really enjoy this particular podcast for various reasons. One of which is Steven West does a great job relating the topic of philosophy to his listening. The cool thing is that Steven West lives in the Seattle area.
Of course, Billie Dean, my cat has been quite helpful with keeping me awake so I can sleep during the day. I love Billie so very much. He has helped me so much this past year. I love the fact that Billie is so lovey dovey and very much a lovebug that loves to sleep in my lap. Billie, is such a sweet little kitty.
I do not have much more to write about. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you do read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Have a wonderful Saturday world. Peace Out, World!!!
