Seattle Windstorm = Possibility of No Electricity

Good Morning, World!!! It is five thirteen in the morning here in Seattle and it has been extremely windy and rainy. This wind is no joke and is causing some major power outages. Thankfully, I still have power but that does not mean I will not lose power as it is very likely especially since my lights have been flickering on and off for the majority of the night.

Since I am worried about the electricity going out, I decided to put away my diamond art/painting stuff and brought out my coloring stuff out. The reason why I did this is because if the electricity does go out, it easier to color with my crappy old battery-operated lantern and two good flashlights than it is to do diamond art/painting. Doing diamond art/painting in poor lighting is my challenging to do than coloring.

I am having some anxiety over the electricity going out. The reason being is that if it does go out there is a chance it will not get fixed in time for my job interview later today. My job interview is virtual and is over Zoom which is the reason why I am anxious about the power going out.

I do not have anything else to discuss or write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Daily Prompt; How Do You Feel About Cold Weather?

Daily writing prompt
How do you feel about cold weather?

First off “cold weather” is different for everyone. Would I prefer warmer weather such as the seventies and eighties over forty degree weather? Yes, I would. Now on that part I am not a big fan of the cold weather especially when it is cold enough to snow. I am really not a big fan of really cold weather. I may not be a big fan of the typical dreary rainy weather in the forties here in Seattle but at least it is so much better than freezing weather with snow. So I do not like cold weather.

A Gloomy Spring Day In Seattle

Good Morning, World!!! It is the start of another work week for most people in the United States. Hell, it is the start to a gloomy spring day in Seattle which is nothing new for this time of year. Since it is a gloomy start of a spring day here in Seattle, I am going share with you all some pretty greenery that I took pictures of.

A bush with dark green leaves that is sprouting new light green leaves.
A tree with all new light green leaves that is filling out for the spring.
Looking up into a tree with branches showing and fresh light green leaves that are filling out the tree.

I hope you all enjoy the photography of the bushes and trees with new spring leaves on them especially if it is gloomy where you are at. I don’t have much more to share on the gloomy Seattle spring day. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, reading my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Now it is time to spend some time with my cat. Peace Out, World!!!

Daily Prompt; What Do You Complain About the Most?

Bloganuary writing prompt
What do you complain about the most?

I guess now is as good of time as any other time on what I complain about the most. I think I complain most about the cold weather especially when it gets below freezing outside like it currently is here in Seattle. I do not do well in freezing weather and really hate being cold especially when my feet are wet. I also complain a lot about wet feet and you would think I would get water proof or water resistant shoes since I live in Seattle but nope I don’t have any shoes like that at the moment. It may be below freezing outside right now but at least there is no snow on the ground in my Seattle neighborhood. Not having snow in Seattle is a good thing.

A Mid Afternoon Blog

Good Afternoon, World!!! So far my day is going well and am grateful tomorrow is holiday where I live so it’s a three day weekend. Also on that note my last week at work due to layoffs is only a four day week instead four day week. It is going to be an emotional week but i know I have the support from others.

It being a soggy Sunday in in Seattle, I am mostly staying home reading a book on Star Wars. I also volunteered at PAWS Cat City. Spending time volunteering with cats is so much fun. Another fun thing i get to do is spend the rest of my day with my cat Billie as I read a Star Wars book. I love my cat, I love reading and I love Star Wars.

Now, I am waiting on Grubhub to deliver my late lunch. I ordered my favorite burger which it the Whiskey River Bar-Be-Que burger. It is a good day in Seattle to order in as it’s raining here in Seattle and not the typical drizzle Seattle get.

After I get my food and eating it, I am going to go back to reading the Star Wars book I am reading with Billie, my cat, by my side. It’s great day to just do a do nothing type of day.

I don’t have much more to sat in this particular blog post. I just want to thank you for reading my blog. It means the world to me that you read my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Too Early to be Up on a Saturday

Good Morning, World!!! It is nearly four in the morning here in the Seattle area. I’ve been awake since just after three this morning. Not sure why I am awake this early so I’m blaming it on insomnia. On that note I’ve been trying to write this blog since I woke up but my cat, Billie Dean, is making a bit challenging to use my laptop.

So, obviously, I am figuring out a way to write it with him purring on my lap. I love my cat Billie so very much. He has made the last two months so much easier to deal with shit regarding a job I love. As I’ve mentioned before I am getting laid off from work with no lay off date. I do know I’m stay to they close or at least stop paying me. On that note we officially stop seeing clients May 31st and most of the remaining staff will be laid off in June. We don’t know exact dates but at least I know it’s sometime in June.

Any way switching subjects. It’s raining outside here in Seattle. Not exactly a surprise but it’s actually only drizzle. In fact it doesn’t rain as much as people think it does here. Plus, it is usually drizzle. It’s just mostly grey, cloudy and overcast here in Seattle.

I’m going to end this particular blog post now and try to get some more sleep. Thank for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated. Peace Out, World!!!

Ugh!!! Someone Pulled the Fire Alarm, Again

Ugh!!! I am not a very happy person at the moment. Hell, many of my neighbors are not happy either. It is just after two o’clock in the morning here in Seattle and it is raining. Anyway, a neighbor pulled the fire alarm, once again because another neighbor was not wearing a mask because of the mandate Washington State till has till late March.

Anyway, many of us if not all of us neighbors are not too happy with the neighbor that pulled the fire alarm. Not only did it wake us up but many of us have pets that we need to evacuate with us humans. For me, I make sure I take my cat when I evacuate when the building fire alarm goes off. I’m not about to leave my cat in my apartment just in case it’s an actual fire. Thankfully this time around it was not. I do have neighbors who have snakes, frogs or fish and they are harder to evacuate than a cat or dog is.

Anyway, the firefighters are not exactly that happiest of people with this neighbor and I don’t blame them. They had to get in a middle of a fight between the neighbor who pulled the fire alarm for no reason and another neighbor. That means the cops were called again. The cops were going to show up anyway but since a fight broke out they arrived more quickly.

Long story short the neighbor who started the fight just got a warning while the neighbor that pulled the fire alarm got arrested. He most likely will be out later today or tomorrow since it is a misdemeanor. I just wish he would stay in jail longer and/or apartment management would evict the neighbor that keeps pulling the fire alarm.

It’s a good thing that I don’t start work till twelve noon, Seattle time today. That means, I get to sleep in a little. That’s if Billie Dean my cat doesn’t wake me up to be fed as he has plenty to eat in his bowls at the moment or to wake me up to play. I really love cat Billie. He has been a life saver for me.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If if was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Yucky Weather Fits My Mood

Good Evening, World!!! Right now I am dealing with increased depression symptoms. I am not a big fan of my symptoms increasing but at least the weather reflects my current mood of depressed. Depression sucks no matter the time of year but it feels easier to deal with when the weather is yucky outside.

Having depression sucks shit but at least I trying to do something to improve it even in the slightest. One of the things I am doing is cuddling up in my new Wonder Woman fleece blanket that I ordered on Amazon. It came yesterday (Wednesday) which was a day early. I am so grateful that it came early as it has been quite helpful with soothing me.

Something else that has been helpful is my cat, Billie Dean. Billie has been cuddling with me and my new Wonder Woman blanket. At this point in time, it is hard to figure out who likes the blanket more, me or Billie. I am beyond grateful that Billie knows when I need some extra cuddles. I love Billie so much and am glad he is in my life.

Another thing that I have been doing to help combat my depression and the gloominess is reading. I am currently reading a fantasy book that a friend suggested I read. I am enjoying the book so far. I enjoy reading fantasy and science fiction genre books. It helps me get out of my own head.

I think I will get going and end this particular blog post so I can get back to reading. I would like to thank all of you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my perspective that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone has a great night. Peace Out, World!!!

Getting My Groove Back

Good Morning, World!!! I have come to realize once again that when I blog on the regular basis, I keep you my reader interested. Even if it is something basic like my plans for the week and doing a weekly check in. I figure if I start having a routine with blogging then it will help me with keeping my own mental health in check. Something I never expected when I started my blog over six years ago is that it would help with my mental health.

Another reason why I want to start having a routine with blogging as it is a great activity to do inside. Since Seattle is known for its “rain,” I thought that having a blogging routine would be great. That is why I want to start back to doing my Weekly Plans on Sunday mornings and Weekly Check Ins on Saturday evenings. I know it does not sound that exciting but at least it will hopefully keep you my reader interested in continuing to read my blog. I am planing on starting all this back up later this morning when I get home from work with the Weekly Plans.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone has a great week ahead. Peace Out, World!!!
