Sleepless in Seattle & Cat Tarot Card

Good very early in the morning, World!!! it is 2;07 in the blasted in freaking in the morning here is Seattle. So, I am trying to get back into the tarot card thing again. One is about cats and a journal that isn’t associated with the Tarot deck but will go well together. I also have another Tarot deck that appear to be for advanced. I did order to advanced journals for this particular deck which is called, “Radiant Wise Spirit” which I have two tarot journals for. I am going to hope this will help with my recovery process. On a side not have some basic tarot journals so when I get a hang of it i have it I have extra.

In fact I am going to order more tarot card and journal that possibly go with the set. I just want the tarot stuff to help with my recovery and will be a great way to start and end the day with. I will like to get some guidebooks regarding tarot cards. Anything to help my recovery and my future.

Who knew a sleepless night in Seattle will help continuing with my recovery process. I will also look into some self help workbook. Now on to do shopping on Amazon. I hope to get some sort of sleep. Goodnight and Peace Out, World!!!

A Peaceful Way to Begin the Holiday

Good Evening, World!!! This is the time of year where many get overly stressed. Stressed about everyday life as well as the upcoming holiday a person may celebrate. Everyone celebrates different holidays as not everyone is the same faith. For me I celebrate Yule and Christmas. Christmas more of a family thing while Yule is a me thing that I celebrate with friends. I do celebrate other holidays with other friends if I’m invited to join.

Since my last blog post earlier today. I finally found a holiday book I am going to read. I haven’t started it yet but I will after this particular blog post. I started a jigsaw puzzle and got all the ends together meaning the border is done and now to work on the inside of the puzzle. I have been coloring a Hanukkah poster I am coloring for a friend in Texas. It will hopefully be done and sent to Texas for her. I did the Yule jigsaw puzzle and colored the Hanukkah poster all the while listening to Christmas music. To me this is what the holidays are suppose to be; support each other even when it is not your own faith. I am feeling very peaceful by starting my Friday with peaceful way to start the holiday season with celebrating as many faith as I can with respect.

My holiday tradition giving me some peace in my heart and a lot of love other people’s faith. I would love to learn more about other people’s faith tradition this time of year.

On that note, I hope you have great holiday season no matter what holiday you celebrate or if you don’t celebrate any. Now it’s time for me to spend more time with my cat, Billie. I sure love my can Billie. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

Looking Forward to Laid Back Weekend

Happy Friday, World!!! It is the day after Thanksgiving which most American call “Black Friday” due to the major sales retailers have for holidays shoppers seeking the perfect gift. Anyway, I have never liked “Black Friday” nor understand why you would want to stand in line hours before the butt crack of dawn.

On that note, I worked this more and am now off and home enjoying the company of my lovely cat, Billie. This is the time of year I pull out my winter and/or holiday jigsaw puzzles and start doing one or two of them. I also pull out a holiday book to read. I already started on one of my holiday jigsaw puzzles. I am not exactly sure what holiday book I will read. I am going to be coloring a holiday poster.

The weather in Seattle today sucks but it is the “normal” Seattle weather. Even though I currently don’t have a holiday book to read, I do have book that I am reading. So, I think I will make some hot tea and curl up in a blanket or two with my cat Billie on my lap as I read.

In fact I think this weekend is going to be a curl up and read type of weekend. Or at least stay in my pajama’s and do puzzles. I love this type of weather sometimes because it gives me an excuse to read, do puzzles, do art and just hang out in my pajama’s with my cat Billie.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from Seattle

Happy Thanksgiving, World!!! This is going to be a short post but just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. Yes, I know not every place around celebrates Thanksgiving. Today’s weather for Thanksgiving especially for Seattle was and still is absolutely beautiful and clear. You can even see Mount Rainier.

I started off Thanksgiving this morning at work. I did a four hour shift and loved it. I am beyond grateful to help young adults who do not have a home to go to. I then came home quickly, said hi to my cat Billie and grabbed a load of laundry to due on my grandpa’s while having Thanksgiving dinner. It was nice a holiday dinner without in arguing. I am also grateful for time with family. Now I am home blogging as my cat Billie purrs in my lap. It has been a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I do not have much more to say in this blog. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. Peace Out, World

It’s the Tuesday Before Thanksgiving

Good Afternoon, World!!! It is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving here in the United States. Not much going on for me today as it is my day off from my very part time job which I am grateful for. I did go to the pharmacy to pick up meds and later on this afternoon I will be volunteering at PAWS Cat City. On that note the weather here is Seattle is finally back to being normal which is rain. It has been the driest November on record here in Seattle if I heard correctly. November is usually the wettest month of the year.

It being Thanksgiving week I don’t have much planned. Like I mentioned I am volunteering later this afternoon. I am also going to be working Wednesday, Thursday (Thanksgiving) and Friday. I am excited to be working even if it only twelve hours a week. I work three days a week which are four hour shifts each day in the morning. I am really excited that I am working on Thanksgiving as it gives me great joy to help the folks I serve on such a hard for them as well as many others. Not only do I get to work on Thanksgiving, I will be having dinner with my dad, grandpa and two uncles.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

It Has Been a Great Weekend

Good Evening, World!!! It is barely after six in the evening here in Seattle, Washington. As the title of this blog post states; it has been a great weekend. Actually it has been a pretty awesome weekend. First things first I had a great night sleep on Friday which led me to sleep in on Saturday morning to nine o’clock in the AM. Waking up that late is not very common for me and am beyond grateful for it especially since Billie my cat allowed me to sleep that late. I also had a great night sleep last night, Saturday. I did need to get up at eight in morning this morning (Sunday) so I could attend my regular morning shift volunteering at PAWS Cat City.

Okay, now let’s get back to how awesome yesterday (Saturday) was. I started off sleeping in longer than I normally do especially with a cat that likes to be waking me up an hour or two earlier than nine in morning. Spent the day mostly being able to read a book with my cat, Billie on my lap. Later yesterday (Saturday) afternoon/evening, I spent time volunteering at PAWS Cat City. Saturday afternoon/evening is not my typical shift but every time I do a shift my mood improves even if I am already in a great mood. When I got home from volunteering yesterday (Saturday) afternoon/evening, I of course payed attention my awesome cat, Billie. I then went online and went to Amy Grant’s website to see if she was going to do any Christmas concerts here in the Seattle area. Sadly, she is not however she is going to be on tour next year and will be holding a concert in Bremerton, Washington which is a ferry ride away from Seattle. When I saw that she (Amy Grant) will be in concert in Bremerton on March 14, 2023, I bought a ticket and booked a hotel room. I’m going to be staying in a hotel as I don’t want to worry about missing last ferry of the night back to Seattle. Needless to say I am beyond ecstatic that I will be seeing Amy Grant in concert. On that note, it took me about a half an hour to start calming down with all the excitement of knowing I will be going to an Amy Grant concert so I could continue reading the book I was reading earlier in the day.

Now on to today. I woke up earlier than I wanted due to my cat, Billie, wanting wet food as well as wanting to play. Despite waking up earlier than I desired, I had a really good night sleep. After feeding and playing with Billie, I ate breakfast and got ready for my volunteer shift at PAWS Cat City. I, of course went to my volunteer shift this morning and immensely enjoyed my shift as always. I love volunteering and giving back to my community. I especially love volunteering at PAWS Cat City. After, volunteering I got take out of Orange Chicken from a local Asian restaurant and ate part of it here at home. I will eat the rest after I am done writing and posting this particular blog post. After eating lunch I read some more of the book I was reading yesterday. In fact reading is what I have been doing most of the day and Billie was on my lap a good portion of that time. Now, I am writing this post. In fact I am almost done writing this particular post as I am getting hungry for dinner.

I really do not have much else to say for this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my perspective that you, the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Hump Day (Wednesday) Ramblings (Part One)

Good Morning, World!!! Well what is left of morning. Only 45-minutes left of morning here in Seattle.Well, I am not in Seattle currently but am in a suburb of Seattle called Lynnwood. I am in Lynnwood visiting my grandpa and doing my laundry. Also, I am helping my grandpa with some household chores he can’t get done due to age. He would have my uncles help since they live with him but one works during the day and the other sleeps during the day due to working at night. Anyway, I am enjoying my time with my grandpa even though he is taking a nap at the moment.

When my grandpa picked me up at (my) home in Seattle, took me to get my meds. One of which is for anxiety, the other for PTSD and the last one for sleep. Insurance was being jerks about filling all three meds stating that I need “prior authorization” when I never needed it before on these three meds. Thankfully, it got straightened out and that being inform that the “prior authorization” was a mistake for the meds I picked up.

After picking up my medicine, my grandpa took me out to breakfast. We went to a place called the Blue Star Cafe in the Wallingford neighborhood in Seattle. It is right next to Archie McPhee’s. Archie McPhee’s is famous in Seattle. Well, anyway, enough about Archie’s, my grandpa’ loved the Blue Star Cafe. It take a lot for my grandpa to be “impressed” with a restaurant. He wants to take the family there which means him (my grandpa), my dad, my two uncles and myself.

After I am done writing this particular blog post I am going to put the load of laundry that is in the washer machine into the dryer and then put my last load in the washing machine. On that note, I will start reading a book called Enchantment by Orson Scott Card. It is going to be weird reading without my cat, Billie not being around as I am at my grandpa’s and he is at home. Oh how I miss my cat but I know I will be back home later today. I love my cat as well as love reading.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is really appreciative from my end of things that you read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Happy Hump Day (Wednesday)!!! Peace Out, World!!!

10 Months Down & 2 Months to Go

Good Evening, World. It is November 1st, which means the first ten months of the year are gone and we have two months left of the year. This year has gone by super fast. Hell, the years appear to go faster the older I get and I am only in my early forties. Don’t get me wrong I love being my current age, it is just life seems to go faster the older I get especially after the news I received in early summer about my mom.

In fact, I am not sure if I told you or not and I don’t feel like looking over my previous post but my mom has stage three lung cancer. She seems to be doing well. I have been taking to her multiple times a week since I found out and hopefully, I will see her sometime before Thanksgiving. I love my mom dearly and am beyond grateful that she is my mom.

So, hearing about my mom is one of the downs of this year and I have had quite of few of them this year but I have had many ups. I will get to my ups for this year in later. One of the downs I have had was that I got laid off from a job I loved due to the agency closing. I miss my job, colleagues and clients. I did get another job but sadly that didn’t work out and now I have a very part time job and am hoping I can get a full time job sometime soon. So please hope for the best in regards to the job.

As far as my cat Billie, he is doing just fine and dandy. He is loving the fact that I am home a lot more. I am beyond grateful for him and he has been one of the many ups, I have had this year. My cat, Billie means the world to me.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. If it was not for you the reader, I would not be writing my blog. So, again thank from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Hopes in Getting Back Into Building Structure in My Life

Good Afternoon World, from the wonderful city of Seattle. Before I go on to discuss what I would like to, I just want to let you know how unusual the weather has been here in Seattle. First and fore most Seattle is known to have lots of rain and wind in the middle of October but not this year. In fact this October has been the driest October in recorded history Seattle has experience. Finally today it’s drizzly and breezy which is a good thing.

On the good thing note, I got a job. A job that is only twelve hours a week and not full time. I may want a full time job but right now a job is job not how many hours it is a week. I’m working at an employer I used to work at and am grateful for that. My supervisor is supper awesome and funny as hell. I also like the fact that he is direct with his communication. In fact I am looking forward to him being my supervisor.

On a different subject and I’ve brought this up two or three times before but I will be doing “workbooks” on various topics with the for “Dummies.” The first two I will be be working on is “U.S History for Dummies” and I am sure they will be missing many important things in history as well a misleading in other parts. The other Dummies book is “Basic Math and Pre-Algerbra for Dummies.” I am doing this to better educate myself and hopefully learn something.

Now on to the blogging part of all this. I’ve notice I haven’t blogged as much and want to blog on the regular basis. Yes, I know I’ve done and said this before but this time I will do want I can and what it take to regularly blog.

Now on to a subject I highly like to do which is household chores. I’m not a big fan of them However it is something that needs to be done on the regular basis and plan to schedule to do it in my planner along with the other things I need and/or want to do.

Let’s get on to a less boring topic which is more fun topic of my cat Billie. Billie is just as cute as he can be. I love my cat Billie so much and I am so blessed that he chose me to be his human. I am grateful that he is in my life.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It means a great deal to me from my end of things that you do read my blog. If it wasn’t for you reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. So, thank you again from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
