Attending a Late Night 12-Step Meeting

Happy Friday, Again, World. It is pretty late on for me to attend an a 12-step meeting. I will be attending Adult Children of Alcoholics (and dysfunctional families. I haven’t gone in a while a will consider my new ACA birthday. I am not a big fan of 12step meeting but ACA doesn’t fee like the typical 12step program is is more recovery focused on the individual than the person that is alcoholic or dysfunctional. It’s has a lot of recovery related language which is why I I think I enjoy it. Of course my cat will be attending with me as he as been being more of a love but than he usually is.

Attending ACA meeting is my way to continue my recovery process and my recovery is extremely important to me, Being active recovery is what helps me stay stable to I can work as a peer specialist or peer counselor. Any skills I can get will help me be able to help others.

I am grateful that I found Adult Children of Alcoholics and dysfunctional families last year but stopped going so today Friday, February 4th, 2022 will be my new birthday. I really like the support the get from ACA/ACOA.

Thank you for listening to me and supporting me in one of my 2022 goals. I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I am also that 12Step meeting are now online due to the stupid pandemic. Peace Out, World!!!

Happy Friday

Happy Friday, World!!! Today marks two todays since I officially met my cat Billie Dean while doing a volunteer shift at PAWS Cat City even thought I didn’t officially adopt Billie till February 6th of 2020. Which was about a month and a half before lockdown happened due to Covid-19 the dreaded pandemic everyone wants to go away.

Even though today is the the two day anniversary of officially meeting Billie Dean while volunteering, I put him on hold for two days so I could adopt my cuddly, loving, talkative, fifteen pound kitty who knows how to love me unconditionally as well as a sweet cat who loves everyone especially me. I am grateful that in two days it will be the two year gotcha (adoption) day or Billie. I love my cat so much an am grateful that I was able to adopt Billie right before the lockdown happened and I truly think Billie helped me through the lock down from this stupid pandemic.

In fact today was the first day back to the office after have Covid-19 myself. My colleagues mainly discussed our cats today and how loving they are and how helpful they are for our own mental health. In fact my colleagues have been coming friends to me which is a good thing.

Since becoming friends with colleagues we decided to end our Friday and begin our weekend with going out to dinner. We has some pretty good food from a restaurant across the street from our work. Great food and awesome happy hour drinks at a cheap price.

Having the support of colleagues that are becoming friends as well as the love of my cat Billie surely help me with my every day life as well as my mental health symptoms. It’s great to have friends, colleagues and pet to help me through my depression.

Having great support is awesome. I do not not have much more to say in this particular blog post except thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. I am also grateful for it being Friday and the start of the weekend for me. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone has a great weekend and a happy Friday. Peace Out, World!!!

2022 Goals (Part 3)

Good Morning, World!!! It is 6:03am in the morning in my corner of the world here in Seattle. I have been coming up with some more goals I know that I can accomplish by the end of the year or hopefully make some small accomplishments with the goals.

One of the goals I want to focus on this year is self care. Self care can look differently to different people at different times. One of my self care goals is to get my hair cut and/or died twice this year. Getting a hair cut make me feel getter about myself.

Another self care goal which is also goal of my mine is to do my chores a on a more regular basis. Like actually get my apartment completely cleaned and declutter the stuff I do not need any more. I plan on having a schedule to do chores around my apartment at least three times a week. As far as the chores, I think cleaning my apartment will help with my depression.

As far as self help stuff, I plan on doing some self help workbooks to help with my healing and recovery. Workbooks tend to help me along with attending therapy session with my therapist. The more help I can get the more recovery I can gain to be able to help the people I help at work with.

I am also planning on attending a 12-step meeting that has the twelve step concepts in it as well as can have peer recovery language in it. It focus on the self and how to realize that you don’t need to fix the person with the problem that you just need to focuses on that you need to change yourself. It has pit of other 12step programs in it which makes it more center to being a better peer and had peer recovery language in the particular 12step program which is why I like it is so much. So far I still have more goals but wanted to let you know part three of my goals.

And of course taking care of my cat, Billie Dean will always be a goal. He is my baby and my life and I love him to death. I’m sure he loves me back. I love my cuddle but of a cat.

I don’t have much to say in the particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Having a Tough Day at Work

Good Afternoon, World!!! I am currently having a tough day a work. Part of it is because I didn’t get much sleep last night due various reasons which included my neighbors being dickwads during a time where most people actually sleep or at least try to sleep.

Today is just one of them days. I have two clients schedule which I had a session with one of them already and will see my next one at 2:00pm; Seattle time. Today has been primarily being in meetings all day as well as dealing with clients in crisis as I am apart of the Thursday crisis coverage team.

Anyway, some of the crisis calls I have taken today have been triggering for me. I think it is partly due to the lack of sleep last night. Anyway, I am grateful for my colleagues as I have been able to do check-in’s with a couple of them after a couple of rough crisis calls from clients.

I have amazing colleagues and an awesome supervisor. I love my employer and feel supported by everyone including the leadership team. Having an awesome employer and colleagues is super helpful everyday especially and challenging days like today.

And of course I am working from home today so I can’t forget to mention how supportive of a colleague my cat Billie Dean has been today. I know for fact he knows I am needing the extra cuddles and love he is giving me. Animals including my cat, Billie have unconditional love especially for their humans.

I do not have much more to say in in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Phuck Getting Sleep Tonight

Good Morning, World!!! Apparently it appears I am not getting a good night sleep tonight because I have neighbors that a physically fighting on my hallway floor. On top of that other neighbors are pulling the building the fire alarm. I am tired and tired has phucking hell. All the shit that is happening is trigging my PTSD. I am tired as hell and a phucking cranky buck it. I just wish Seattle Housing Authority (SHA), The Seattle Fire Department as well as the Seattle Police would do something. People do need to work and being a cranky bucket is not a way to start the day.

I don’t have much to say. Thank you for listening to my rants especially about my neighbors.

UGH!!! Another Sleepless Night in Seattle

It’s not a good start to a Tuesday morning in my neck of the woods known as Seattle. I was sound asleep and sleeping quite soundly when two neighbors who live on my floor in different units decided to scream at each other that led into to a physical fight. Needless to say the cops came and “talked” with the neighbors yet didn’t do anything else but talk with them. This angers me and my other neighbors because it triggers our PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. Obviously, Seattle police to get a flying rats ass. All my neighbors and myself want is a decent night of sleep. The cops are not doing their fucking job and a I pay taxes which means I pay their pay check. I am not a happy camper with the Seattle Police Department.

As least my cant Billie Dean is able to help decrease the anger, PSTD, Anxiety and Depression. Billie is a great source of help for me and am beyond grateful for him. I love my cuddle but of a cat. He means the world to me.

I am to tired and angry to finish this blog post. I just want to thank you for reading my blog. Have a great night of sleep. Peace Out, World!!!

Fell Asleep Reading a Good Book

Good Evening, World from my neck of the world known as Seattle. I was finally getting into the book I am reading known as ” The Ship of Magic” by Robin Hobb. Sadly, I feel asleep reading. Not because it is boring as it is not boring. I just needed to sleep. I hope to be able to take a another nap an read again to report how good the boo is so far. So far from what I have read it has been awesome reading.

So, my plan is to take a couple of hour nap so I can be able to read “The Ship of Magic” Robin Hobb. I hope to give our some updates about the book which means spoil alerts.

I’m going to get going so I can get some sleep to update on the book I am reading. Thank you for reading my blog. It means a great deal to me that you read my blog. Peace Out, World!!! I hope hope to update you later this evening or tonight. Peace Out, World!!!

Mental Health Days Off from Work Suck

Good Afternoon, World!!! As I mentioned in last post, I am taking today off from work. I am need of a mental health day off from work. I was going to listen to a podcast as I did some art work by coloring however I got the urge to read.

So, I decided to pick up the book called “Ship of Magic” by Robbin Hobb. I’ve started this book many times and sadly never got through it even though it is great read from what I have read from it. Plus, it is the first book of a trilogy which I am a big fan of book series. I am grateful that she is an awesome author and is local. She lives in Tacoma or least that is what I last heard.

Not only that, it is easier to read with a cat in your lap than trying to do art work when a cat wants to “help” with the artwork. I love Reading and hope to give a report on the book throughout the time I read Ship of Magic.

Reading and having my cat by my side it a great way to do self care especially when you are are taking a mental health day off from work. I am grateful for my employ that they encourages their employee’s to take time of for being sick. I love my job and my employer.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to than you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you are reading my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writer my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading blog. I greatly appreciate you the reader. Have a great work week a head of you. Peace Out, World!!!

Taking a Sick Day

Good Morning, World!!! Even though I don’t start work till 12:00noon my time which is Seattle time, I called into work sick. On days I don’t start till 12:00noon my time, I take the time to call my clients so it’s doesn’t cause the administrative assistant staff more work to do especially on a Monday. Not only does it make it easier for the admin staff but I realized if I reached out to the clients myself, I don’t have to use that time as “sick time.” Weather or not I get paid to call and cancel on my clients due to illness, I would still do it to especially on Mondays to help my colleagues out.

On a similar note, my supervisor gets “humorously annoyed” (her words, not mine) on how I call in sick. I text as well as call her cell phone (leaving her a voicemail if she doesn’t answer), email her (and HR) and call her on her office number (leaving a voicemail if she doesn’t answer). She is “humorously annoyed” because yes it is somewhat annoying but she finds it humorous because she appreciates the fact that I make sure she finds out some how since technology can be known to not work or do what it is suppose to when it is needed to do so. I technology at work tends to “misbehave” at the worst of the worst times. She does appreciate that I make the extra effort to make sure she is aware.

On to the next thing. Since I am not feeling well, my grandpa made homemade chicken soup yesterday since my uncle wasn’t feeling well. My grandpa just like he does quite frequently makes too much food. So, grandpa will bringing me some homemade chicken soup when he goes to the V.A to get his prescriptions since my home is on the way to the V.A. I love the fact that my 91 year old grandpa is still active. Not only is he more active that myself and the rest of the family, he is more healthy than the rest of the family.

Part of the reason why I am out sick is because my depression and anxiety are both acting up. That usually means that I get digestive problem which sucks. As sucky as it is at least I know I won’t vomit nor have digestive issues with my grandpa’s homemade soup. Soup that he learned to make from my grandma who who sadly passed away four year ago this Valentines day.

On another note, since I am not feeling well, I will be doing some art work. Specifically, I will be coloring. I hope to show you updates of what I color. It all depends if I remember to do so as well as how I am feeling at the moment. While coloring I will be listening to a podcast. A podcast about philosophy. The name of the podcast I will be listing to is “Philosophize This.” I really enjoy this particular podcast.

As much as I dislike being sick, I am grateful for the extra attention my cat Billie Dean gives me. Billie is a love bug even when I am not sick but tends to be more of one when I am sick. I love my cat so much and am grateful for the unconditional love he gives me even though I don’t deserve especially when I don’t give him the attention at the exact times he wants or needs it due to being busy.

I personally think the Seattle weather is okay enough to try to take Billie for a walk outside on his leash if he tolerates it. It’s the leash and harness he tolerates but its the outside he doesn’t tolerate. The thing is he tolerates the outside in his carrier so the vet and I think he needs to feel secure or a sense of safety when outside. So we came up with a training plan regarding outside time on the harness and leash.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it were not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writer my blog. Again, than you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope you all have a great day ahead of you as well as great work week ahead of you. I truly appreciate you for reading my blog as it means the world to me that you read it. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope you have a great Monday. Peace Out, World!!!

Still Too Early to Be Awake on a Sunday

Good Morning, World!!!! It is 8:01in the morning in my corner of the world known as Seattle. In fact my cat Billie Dean is trying to help me writer this particular blog post. I am tired as hell and have not been unable to sleep. I am not sure why sleepless is accruing but I am sure some of it is due to insomnia which suck shit.

On that note at least I am feeling the love my m cat Billie Dean. Billie is sure helping me with both my depression and the anxiety. Both of which sucks. The love from cat is beyond awesome.

Speaking of love my grandpa and uncle will be taking me out to breakfast. I know they love me and look out for my wellbeing. I am grateful that I have a family that loves me event thought is appears to be over bearing at times. Their heart is is in the rate place.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post to say anything thing. I do want to thank you for reading my blog post as it is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you do read my blog.
