Thursday Morning Random Thoughts

Good Morning, World!!! I still haven’t had any sleep. I have been keeping myself busy as being busy helps me deal with what I need to deal with.

One way I have been dealing with things is working on my workbooks. I have been working on both my LGBTQ and my recovery strengths workbooks. Both workbooks are helping me with my recovery with a mental health challenge as well as accepting myself as me.

I have also been reading. I have been reading my Star Wars book. I am almost done with it. I hope that when I am done with it that I will remember to do a book review on it. I love to read.

I have also been working on a jigsaw puzzle of the Titanic while listening to a podcast about philosophy. Doing puzzle and listening to a podcast helps me retain what I heard on the podcast.

Update on Doctor’s Appointment

Good Morning, World!!! Yup, it is still morning in my corner of the world. I went to my doctor’s appointment and it went well. I have a slight concussion from being hit in the eye by a neighbor. I am taking 800mg ibuprofen for the pain and an anti-nausea medicine for nausea.

I am now going to read. I am not sure if I am going to read my Star Wars book or a book on Buddhism. I might read both at some point today. I might even do a workbook or two as well. I love to read and work on my workbooks.

Dealing With PTSD

Good Morning, World!!! I am blogging once again. Yes, so soon after my last post. I am struggling with some PTSD symptoms. Symptoms that are related to childhood trauma.

Blogging about what is going on can be helpful to me. This is one of those moments where I think it is helpful for me and I hope it can be helpful to at least one other person in the world. It is my hope that when I post about my struggles that at least one person in the world doesn’t feel so alone.

I think I am going to work on one of my workbooks before heading to my doctors appointment. Working on my workbooks will help with the PTSD as well as the anxiety that goes with me going to the doctors today.

Just A Bunch Of Ramblings

Good Afternoon, World!!! My face hurts like hell. After being punched in the face last night I realize how grateful I am that it could have been worse. I could have been more injured than I am.

I saw my therapist today and he saw my eye and how swollen it is. We discussed what happened. We processed what I went through and how I can handle the potential PTSD symptoms.

I now plan on working on one of my workbooks. My workbook specifically geared to strengths and recovery. As I want to learn how to be okay with the strengths I have. I don’t like to acknowledge that I even have any strengths.

After doing my workbook I plan on reading my book; Why Buddhism Is True. I also plan on reading some Buddhist Scriptures. I am finding a sense of peace searching into the Buddhist faith.

Midnight Thoughts

Hello, World!!! I am watching the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. I am cracking up laughing like I usually do watching Jimmy Fallon. Watching a comedy like the Tonight Show before I go to be has proven to be helpful for me to sleep.

I don’t think I’ll get much sleep tonight as I took a long and late nap. A much needed nap. A nap that I am grateful for.

I think I am going to be working on my recovery workbook if I am unable to sleep. Working on my workbook that focuses on recovery is quite helpful for me. As you may know is that my recovery is extremely important to me. It means the world to me.

I also might read my Star Wars: Heir To The Empire if I can not sleep tonight. As I am really enjoying the book.

Preparing for the Social Security Office

Good Morning, World!!! I am preparing to go to the Social Security office as they stopped giving me my hard earned money, I paid into the system. I am not looking forward to it as the Social Security office gives me really high anxiety.

To help me at the Social Security office I’m taking some stuff to help me while I wait. One thing I will be taking is one of my workbooks. A workbook about recovery and your strengths. Another thing I will be taking is my Star Wars book that I started read on Sunday. Reading is a great time to kill time while you wait.

Just Me Rambling About Random Sh*t

Good Afternoon, World!!! I am sitting here watching the news and blogging at the same time. I am going to be blogging what ever the hell that comes to my mind and right now I don’t know what that will be.

As I mentioned I am watching the local news. As usual there is no freaking good news being reported. I wish they would share some good news at least once a day.

I mentioned in my last post that I was working on my LGBTQ workbook. I went back to it and did one more section in the chapter I am on.  I also started working on my recovery workbook. I did a couple of sections on that as well.

I have also been reading my Star Wars book. It is an easy read and I might be done with it by this time next week if I focus on it. I am really enjoying the book and hope to read it as fast I think I will.

I am trying to figure what I am going to have for lunch. I think I am going to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I will have glass of chocolate milk with it.

Feeling Overwhelmed = Star Wars Book

Good Morning, World!!! I have been working on my LGBTQ workbook and found myself getting overwhelmed. I am feeling overwhelmed because what I am working on is hitting close to home. Its hitting close to home because I haven’t admitted to myself a lot of things regarding my gender identity but I am learning how to do so.

Since I am feeling overwhelmed, I have decided to take a break from the workbook for a few hours and read. I am going to to read the Star Wars book I got yesterday (Sunday).  Sometime in recovery you need to realize it is okay to take a break every once in awhile to take a break. Especially when you are reading Star Wars.

Saturday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! I am still struggling with some depression from yesterday. Not sure why but I am. I am also dealing with some anxiety. My weighted blanket has been a life saver the last couple of days.

Right now I am figuring out what I am going to do for the day. I already know that I will be working on my workbooks as well as read. I will also be spending time with Junior and our friends to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
