Another Night Sleepless In Seattle

Good Morning, World from Seattle. It is just barely after three o’clock in the morning here in Seattle. I am extremely tired and it is the second night in a row where I haven’t slept very well. Tonight, I kept busy in hopes to get tired enough to go to sleep. Of course cuddling with my cat, Billie was a great help with my anxiety about not being able to sleep.

So, I started out with cross stitching. I am doing a stamped crossing stitching so I can learn and hopefully move on to counted cross stitching. I am crossing stitching a cat. I love cats. It’s a complicated stamped cross stitch but I’m okay with that. I am looking forward to the challenge of this stamped cross stitching cat. It is going to be beautiful when it is done. The next thing I did was painting by number. I am doing a scenery of a mountain and a lake. It’s coming right a long. The painting is nice and relaxing. I then colored a mandala. Mandala’s are a way to bring calm and peace to me. After doing my arts and crafts stuff, I started reading a holiday book. Actually it is a Christmas book. The book is called ” The Paper Bag Christmas” by Kevin Alan Milne. So far the book is good. After reading I did about a chapter of math in “Basic Math and Pre Algebra for Dummies.” Doing all this has helped me become hopefully tired enough to get some sleep.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading blog. Good Night, Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

Just Another Rambling Post

Good Evening, World!!! It has been one of those days where I was not exactly feeling well. By not feeling well I mean I had a slight depression mode most of today. I am not one hundred percent sure why but I know the lack of sleep played some part of the mild depression today. Thankfully, I am feeling better now and my cat, Billie helped me a lot to feel better.

Over the last few days I ordered some stuff from Amazon. I ordered mostly crafting and art stuff. I did order other stuff but that is for another post. Now back on to the art and crafty stuff. I ordered painting stuff as well as coloring stuff. I also ordered cross stitching stuff. I also ordered this new type of art work called diamond painting. You don’t use paint, you use this little stick on stuff that is tiny as hell but looks like fun and challenging. So with everything I am getting from Amazon over the next several days, I know I will have a lot to do but first I need to clean my apartment.

Besides all the crafty and art stuff along with needing to clean my apartment, I have awesome news.If you been reading my blog on the regular basis you know I have a very part time job where I work twelve hours a week at four hours a shift for three days. Anyway I put in my resignation today because I got a full time job as a peer support specialist. Yes, I got a new job and I start in January. I am so very excited that I will be working as a peer specialist again.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

  • I’ve learned from my cat how to be a better human and how to have more patience with humans.
  • I’ve learned that my artwork doesn’t have to be perfect for others to enjoy it.
  • I’ve learned from my cat how to love myself.

Very Little Sleep Last Night

Good Morning, World!!! I didn’t get much sleep last night and I am not sure why. In fact it is almost eight o’clock in the morning in Seattle and plan on going back to bed. I did plan on what I am going to do today besides a work meeting online this evening.

I am going to be waiting on some packages from Amazon. I am also planing on reading a holiday book as well as doing a holiday jigsaw puzzle as I listen to be listening to music. I am also am going to to be doing Math for Dummies. I know doing Math for Dummies sounds lame but I would like to learn more about math and be efficient in my math skills. Good back to the Amazon order I am accepting some crafting and artsy stuff to do to keep myself busy during the winter months

I think I am going back to sleep for a few more hours. I have a wonderful work week everyone.

Weekly Check-In

Hello, World!!! It has been quite the week. I worked this past Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. My job is only three days a week which are four hour shifts. In fact I worked this past Thursday which was Thanksgiving here in the United States. I was and am glad that I was able to work Thanksgiving. All three of my work shifts went great. I enjoy my job but I wish I worked more than twelve hours a week. My boss and colleagues are amazing.

Now back to the topic of Thanksgiving. I not only worked but spent time with my dads side of the family. I had an awesome dinner that my uncle made. I had dinner with my dad, grandpa and two uncles. I love my family so much. I also called my mom to wish her a Happy Thanksgiving. I also called my two uncles as well as my two aunts on my mom’s side to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving. To be honest, I called my mom three times as she is dealing with stage three cancer and since my brother is in jail I wanted to make sure she know that I love her. My mom did spend Thanksgiving with my two uncles (her brothers) and one of their girl friends. So, I am grateful she was not only on Thanksgiving.

As far as yesterday goes, I worked and came home and started doing my holiday traditions. I first turned on holiday music and then started two different holiday jigsaw puzzles. I am still trying to figure out what holiday book I am going to read this year. I have three holiday books in mind. Who know’s I might read all three. I am also going to be coloring holiday posters. Some I started last year and didn’t finish and some I will start this year. Anyway, I am getting into the holiday spirit and doing it my style.

Well, that is my weekly check-in for the week. Now it is time to cuddle up with my cat Billie and read. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

Lazy Type of Day

Good Afternoon, World!!! It has been a lazy day. I started off the day reading the first two chapters of a holiday book when I woke up this morning with my cat Billie on my lap as I was sipping some hot teat. I started getting a little sleeping from reading even though the book appears to be so far so good in the first two chapter.

On that note I really did not want to go back to sleep and take a nap since I had already just woken up from a good night sleep. I decided to buy some stuff off of Amazon. Mostly, I purchased artsy and crafty and stuff with one exception of more tarot cards and a beginners guide to the beginners guide to tarot cards and guides. I have course will spend the rest of the day with my cat, Billie. Not sure if I will continue to read or end up watching movies.

As far as tomorrow goes, I plan on volunteering at PAWS Cat City. Of course when I get home, I will spend time with Billie. After that I will do some much need house hold chores of cleaning my apartment. So, tomorrow is going to be my chore day.

I do not have much more to say for this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

A Peaceful Way to Begin the Holiday

Good Evening, World!!! This is the time of year where many get overly stressed. Stressed about everyday life as well as the upcoming holiday a person may celebrate. Everyone celebrates different holidays as not everyone is the same faith. For me I celebrate Yule and Christmas. Christmas more of a family thing while Yule is a me thing that I celebrate with friends. I do celebrate other holidays with other friends if I’m invited to join.

Since my last blog post earlier today. I finally found a holiday book I am going to read. I haven’t started it yet but I will after this particular blog post. I started a jigsaw puzzle and got all the ends together meaning the border is done and now to work on the inside of the puzzle. I have been coloring a Hanukkah poster I am coloring for a friend in Texas. It will hopefully be done and sent to Texas for her. I did the Yule jigsaw puzzle and colored the Hanukkah poster all the while listening to Christmas music. To me this is what the holidays are suppose to be; support each other even when it is not your own faith. I am feeling very peaceful by starting my Friday with peaceful way to start the holiday season with celebrating as many faith as I can with respect.

My holiday tradition giving me some peace in my heart and a lot of love other people’s faith. I would love to learn more about other people’s faith tradition this time of year.

On that note, I hope you have great holiday season no matter what holiday you celebrate or if you don’t celebrate any. Now it’s time for me to spend more time with my cat, Billie. I sure love my can Billie. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

Keeping Busy to Stay in a Neutral State of Mind

Hello, World from Seattle. It has been one of them days where trying to be in a neutral state of mind has been challenging. It has been challenging due to some negative shit, I have experienced the last few weeks. Yes, I would prefer to be in a good state of mind however I will and am more than okay to be in a neutral state of mind.

I started off the day cuddling with my cat Billie. In fact that appears to be an everyday thing. An everyday thing I don’t mind especially since it is how I start my day. I am more than sure that Billie enjoys starting his day cuddling with me.

After cuddling with my cat, Billie, I worked on a Mindfulness workbook. As I was working on the mindfulness workbook, I realized that my morning cuddles or any cuddles with Billie is mindfulness. So, I guess I do mindfulness everyday as I cuddle with Billie. Even though I do mindfulness daily, I am still going to work on the mindfulness workbook daily till it is finished.

I, of course did all that before getting ready and going to volunteer at PAWS Cat City. I really enjoy volunteering at Cat City. In fact it is one of the highlights of my week. Even though I have my own cat, I enjoy spending time with the cats at Cat City. In fact I enjoy spending time with the kittens and the senior cats. On that note, spending time with the kittens reminds me why I prefer the adult and senior cats especially to have one as a family member.

When I arrived home after volunteering I had packages at my door from Amazon. One of which was For Dummies book for basic math and pre-algerbra. So, I worked on for about a half an hour and the next half an hour I worked on my other For Dummies book which is on U.S History. I’m still waiting on two more educational Books for Dummies. I am doing the For Dummies books because I have forgotten most of what I learned or I never learned it in school.

After “educating myself,” I decided to be creative. First I did some art work. The art I am doing is coloring a poster for my mom. After coloring, I decided to do some crafting by doing latch hook. I am really enjoying doing the latch hook. I am currently doing a latch hook with a cat on it and it is to wipe your feet with before entering your home. I am not sure what I’m going to do with it when I am done with it.

Well, I’m looking at the time and it is time for dinner. That means it is time to end this particular blog post and go eat. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. That is why it is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you do read my blog. Again, thank you for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
