False Alarms Fucking Suck Shit

Good Fucking Morning, World. It is three thirty in the fucking morning and I had finally fallen asleep due to being sleepless in Seattle when the building fire alarm goes off. Not only did it scare the shit out of me but it scared the shit out Lil Gertie. It triggered my PTSD and who knows if she has PTSD from this kind of stuff. To make matters worse it was difficult to put her into her already much hated carrier but was finally able to do so. I wasn’t going to leave my poor cat to deal with the noise much less it being an actual fire. Lil Gertie is my life and I need to protect her. All I can say was all that work putting Lil Gertie into her carrier was for nothing because it ended up being a false alarm. Well, better safe than sorry.

My poor cat is hiding in her secret hiding place of my dirty close hamper. If it makes her feel safe then I let her be. Right now she needs her space and I hope she comes out when she feel safe.

Right now I am going to get back into my safe space by reading Wonder Woman comic books. Fire alarms don’t help my mental health especially my PTSD which is why I am going to be reading Wonder Woman comic books to help me chill the fuck out.

I apologize for all the cussing in this post but when it scares my cat and puts her into danger then I am going to be a little angry about it. I have every right to be angry about it and so do my neighbors as someone pulled the fire alarm pull stations on every floor from the basement to the tenth floor of the building.

Thank you for letting me rant and rave about the false alarm. I think I am more upset that it effected my cat. My cat is like my baby. Thank you for reading and hope the day goes well for all of you. I know some of you are just getting up for work while others are still in bed. And some of you have been up for hours working due to the time differences around the world. Have a good day anyway. I appreciate you reading everything I have to say. Peace Out, World!!!

Sleepless In Seattle, Once Again

Good Thursday Morning, World!!! It is two oh five in the morning in my neck of the woods and I am unable to sleep. Part of the reason why I am awake is that I slept most of the day way. The other main reason is that the pain I am having due to my weird mouth infection is really bothering me at the moment.  I can’t wait to see my doctor tomorrow (Friday) about it as it is getting annoying as hell and appears to not be going away.

Another thing that is keeping me up right now is it appears that I am on a comic book reading binge of Wonder Woman. I can’t think of a better way to spend a sleepless night the reading especially reading Wonder Woman comic books.

Over the last few weeks I’ve realized that there are sub communities within the blogging community which I am quite grateful for. Most of the sub communities come from the tags within our post to help other find what they are looking for.  For me being apart of a community especially a strong community it helpful for my mental health which is why I continue to blog. In fact I love to blog. It helps me help others and when I help others it makes me feel better about myself.

I should get going a attempt to sleep or at least read more Wonder Woman comic books. Again, thank you for reading my blog. Have a good rest of you night. Peace Out, World

Nothing But Pain & A Cat That Helps

Good Evening, World!!! At this very moment in time my mouth is in extreme pain. All I have to take for it is ibuprofen. As much as I wish it would help more get rid of the pain, I am grateful that I have my cat, Lil Gertie, to help distract me from the pain. I am looking forward to seeing my doctor on Friday. Hopefully, she will give me something stronger than ibuprofen. Or at least something to take the edge off when I sleep at night. As much as my cat helps lessen the pain the ibuprofen doesn’t conquer, I still have trouble due to the pain.

As much as I am in right now, I am grateful that things could be worse for me especially health wise. I could have a Traumatic Head Injury or a terminal illness. As you can tell, I am attempting to look at the bright side of things. As difficult as it is to look at the bright side of things with my health, I am managing to look at the bright side.

I love my cat so much. She seems to know when it is time for me to take my antibiotics by meowing me a great deal even when she has food and a clean litter box. My cat is one smart kitty. I love my cat so much and I am not sure what I would to without her.

Blogging also appears to be helping me today. It is helping me my mind of the pain even just a little bit. Blogging is also helping me with my mental health symptoms.

I hope to blog more later on. Thank you for reading. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things. You are all freaking awesome. Peace Out, World!!!

An Ambien Fog Post While Still Sleepless in Seattle

Good morning, world. I am doing another Ambien fogged post while being Sleepless in Seattle. I highly don’t recommend you do this at all. Probably not one of my wisest choices I have done but certainly the worst I have done in an Ambien fog.

Right now my moth infection is what is keeping me up and the Ambien isn’t helping me sleep like it usually does. So I am blaming my physical illness on not being able to sleep due to the pain. There is only so much Ambien can do and it can’t help with pain. I just wish the doctors would have given me stronger than ibuprofen but hopefully my regular doctor will on Friday when I see her.

Right now, I am worrying about my cat as she is home alone since I am at my grandpa’s house. I know she is all right as a neighbor checked on her and said she as okay. I love my cat, Lil Gertie so much.

Besides worrying about Lil Gertie, I am worried about my health care and how much it is going to cost me. Now that Trump is in office I lost most what I got due to Obamacare.  I just wish Trump didn’t take away my much need health care away. I am a working class person and was doing well with ObamaCare and now that trump is in office I’m not getting good medical.

This is why I always volunteer for specific people running for office as well as going out and voting. Its a way that I know my voice is heard in a weird sort of way.

The Ambien fog is really kicking in if I am talking political on my post. I just hope that the tags I have put up bring new people to read my post. It might be a first post but at least it won’t be boring and at least it will be weird.

Thank you for reading. I hope everyone has a happy Tuesday and gets some rest like I am planning on it. Good Night and Peace Out, World!!!

Sleepless in Seattle – Ambien Fog Post

Hello, World!!! It is the middle of the night and I woke up not being able to go back to sleep. I, unfortunately woke up my grandpa with being a wake at this time of morning. He did go back to bed as I sit here blogging about the lack of sleep I am having.

My facial infection is what woke me up so I am staying up for a while. Of course blogging is one of the things that I have helped me through weird and odd time like theses. I’m also posting under the influence of taking Ambien and wonder how much of this I will remember I write.

I also think I am going to listen to some music after I am done blogging. Blogging and music help me a great deal when I wake up especially when I am in Ambien type fog. Listening to music helps a great deal and hopefully will get me back to sleep.

Have a good night everyone. Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

I Can’t Seem to Stay Awake

Good Early Afternoon, World!!! For some reason, I can’t seem to stay awake today. Not sure why as I feel fine physically. Maybe my body is try to catch up with the depression I have been recovery from. I’m not sure why I am sleeping most of the day away but apparently I need the sleep. I just hope I am able to sleep tonight.

Besides sleeping most of the day, I have been able to do some chores. I cleaned the kitty litter box as well as both the bathroom and kitchen. So, I haven’t exactly been a lazy, I’ve just been extremely sleepy for some odd reason. My big issue for the day is being able to sleep tonight. I’ll worry about that when tonight comes if the no sleep happens.

Since I have done some chores among my long sleeping periods, I think I am going to read as it appears to be one of those lazy type of days for me. Since I love to read maybe it will help me stay awake a little bit.

Thank you for reading my blog. It is very much appreciated from my end of thing. Wish me luck on being able to sleep tonight night since I have been sleeping the day away. Have a great day. Peace Out, World!!!

Monday Morning Ramblings

Good Morning, World!!! It is nearly six thirty in the morning in my neck of the woods and Lil Gertie woke me up by licking one of my feet. She obviously had a sixth sense of knowing that I was having a nightmare. She has woken me up whenever I have a PTSD nightmare and I didn’t even train her to do so.

Dealing with nightmares is a part of PTSD that I didn’t have to deal with however it is something I have to deal with. I have learned various was on how to deal with the after affects of a nightmare. Now that I have an emotional support animal in Lil Gertie I can depend on her for help. Just one more thing I can do is depend on my cat, Lil Gertie.

I realize it seems like I talk a great deal about Lil Gertie, lately. It is just that she has helped me so much in the last nearly a month of having her. She has been a great support for me especially during PTSD moments as well as after them.

I am planning on attending art group later on today. I love art group for many reasons. Reasons that I have informed my therapist about. In return he encourages me to attend. I am hoping we do some collaging in art group today.

Thank you for reading. Have a good work week. Peace Out, World!!!

Just A Boring Ole Post

Good Morning, World!!! I am sitting here still in disbelief. Disbelief that the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist is retiring and I have been asked to be a “surprise guest” at one of her retirement parties. As a “surprise guest” I will be giving a small speech to how this therapist has been influential in my recovery process. Especially, since she was the therapist I had when I first made an active decision to be in recovery.

As I am in disbelief about being a “surprise speaker” I have to admit that at this moment in time my depression is acting up. I know that it partly has to do with the crappy weather while it also has to do with poor sleep due to insomnia. I know ways to prevent the ways to make sure it doesn’t get worse and that is using my DBT skills. Skills that will help me get through this depression.

Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Mr. Sandman, Where Are You?

Good Morning, World!!! I have yet to get to sleep despite trying. Lil Gertie has been helping me through some anxiety attacks. Anxiety attacks that can be debilitating. I don’t think my anxiety is causing me to not sleep however it something to discuss with my therapist.

I have been reading as this time of morning there is nothing on and don’t feel like doing much of anything else. I have been reading a book I put down a few months ago and decided to start reading it again.

I am thinking I am going to get going as I want to try to get some sleep before I need to get up. I just wish I knew were Mr. Sandman was so I could sleep. Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!

Just Some Random Thoughts

Good Morning, World!!! I am not quite sure how I am doing this morning. I just know I got sleep and am happy about that. Sleep doesn’t come easy for me and am eager to let people know that I received a semi-good night of it.

Right now I feel like social media such as Facebook can cause me to isolate from the “real world.” I learned this when I did some of my homework for both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and my therapist.  I learned from the homework assignments that setting a set time I spend on social media.

I am looking forward to art group. Art group happens early this afternoon. I love attending art group. Art helps me express my emotions in ways I can not explain.

Thank you for reading. Peace Out, World!!!
