I Think I Might Like the Job but Could it Be the Job that is Best for Me

Hello, World!!! After three days of training at my new job has worn me the fuck out with all the training the last three days. I am thinking I’m going to like the new job but worry it could not be best for me. I really hope it is a good fit for me. I just don’t like the commute on public transportation part of work. I think that which ever direction this new job is to me is what I need to do at the moment. I have the day off but will still be looking work stuff all newbies need to look at.

On that note I plan on doing a math workbook to help me better at math and understand math terms better. It will give me an education in math that I’ve need since leaving California and getting a shitty education in the Bellevue School District.

On another note I will be doing two workbooks tomorrow. One on mindfulness and the other on recovery. Recovery with mental health workbooks. This is to help me become a better me to help other be their better selves.

I don’t have anything else to say. I just want to say thanks for reading my blog.

Everyday Inspiration; Day 11: A Cup of Coffee

Let me to you that I’ve lived in Seattle since I was sixteen years old and that means I’ve been in Seattle for twenty seven years. Wow it’s hard to believe I’ve been in the Seattle area for nearly thirty years. It doesn’t feel like I’m that “old.” In fact I’m not that “old” but considered middle aged even though I don’t think of being middle aged.

Anyway, I have got slightly off topic as today’s topic is “A Cup of Coffee.” Can you believe after being here in the Seattle area nearly thirty years I still detest the taste of coffee. I love the smell of coffee but don’t like the taste of it. I do keep small can of coffee around for any guest who may show up at my place wanting a cup.

If you been reading my blog for a while you know my dad raised me as a single dad with the help of my grandparents. I remember waking up every morning to my grandpa drinking coffee as he read the paper and my grandma drinking tea as she read the paper. In fact I think it is because of my grandma that I drink a morning cup or two of tea.

So, If were were to go to “coffee” I would most likely be having tea as we discussed what was going on in our lives. Yes, I know it is is sacrilegious to not drink coffee but just count me has an odd duck. Everyone else does. LOL

Everyday Inspiration; Day 10: Let the Scene Write Itself

I am grudgingly writing this post post because I’m sick of looking at my messy ass apartment. Also I’m sick and tired of what I think is the same crow taunting my poor cat Billie all he wants to do is taunt the poor cute squirrels.

On that note, if I look past the tree I can see that there is an accident on the freeway across the street from me. Some call freeways; highways but I call them freeways. I just hope everyone is okay in the accident.

Now, I am hear a crinkly sound. It’s my cat Billie with his he in my bag of Lays Bar-Be-Que Chips. For some reason he loves only this brand and flavor of chips. I got one weird ass cat name Billie. I do love him so much.

Mixture of Feelings Going Oz About the New Job

Today, I had to go to an in person training for HR and IT stuff. Now I need to do some online training. Most of it through Relias. There is know why I can get 20ish hours down by 4:30ish to morning especially when I have other online trainings going on tomorrow. I have training on Wednesday and Thursday but nothing on Friday so I asked for a disability accommodation to finish the Relias training on Friday since I have nothing going on Friday. Worse case scenario I get up early to do the Relias training. I still think I’m going to do a good job at this work. Its just getting through the training.

Everyday Inspiration; Day 9: Writing & Not Writing

Hello, World!!! To write or not to write is very dependent on the day as was as the time and what is going on in my life at the moment. For example there are times I like to go out to eat and take my laptop with me to writer. I sadly was not able to do that when we had the not so lovely pandemic of Covid-19 which is sadly still around. I do some of my best writing when I eat in a restaurant and Covid-19 prevent me from doing that but that’s okay as I found other ways to write or not to write.

When I comes to blogging I either write in my bedroom or my recliner if my cat Billie doesn’t want to sit on my lap. I also like to blog out doors as it can give me similar inspiration like blogging at a restaurant does.

As far as not writing, sometimes my cat can get in the way but I am more than okay with that. Other reasons for not writing is due to work or my mental health is acting up. As far as blogging outside it is all dependent on the weather out side. Seattle is known to have gloomy weather days which sucks but I’ve learned to deal with it.

Too Early To Be Awake on the First Day of a Job

Good Morning, World from the land known as Seattle. It is one forty seven in the morning here in Seattle and been awake since one o’clock Seattle time. Yes, it only been just over forty five minutes but I’m tired as fucking hell and have to get up in four hours.

I think it is pre jitter nerves for the first day of my new job in Everett. I’m not very familiar with the Everett area and will be spending at a location on my first day that I normal won’t be at. On that note, I get work from home for the rest of the week and start working at my “normal office” on the 18th of July. I’ll be working from 9:00am to 5:00pm so I sort of get to sleep in. On the plus note, I get to read or listen to a podcast as I will be taking public transportation.

On that note when I woke up at one o’clock in the morning I took some meds to help with my anxiety and nerves. The meds are starting to kick in so I’m going to try to go back to sleep. Just wish I was as sound as asleep as my Billie the cat is right now. I do wan to thank you for reading my blog. If wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Update on Coloring Poster for my Mom

I’m coloring this Mandela poster for my mom. As you can tell, I’ve colored a great deal but still have a lot of color left to do

Good Evening, World!!! I just wanted to give you an update about the poster I am coloring for my mom’s birthday in early September. I wanted to show you how far I have come and have far I have yet to accomplish. I think the best part of this poster is that other people, are helping with it. People who are my friends and don’t know her are helping. In fact my dad’s side of the family is helping has well. Billie, my cat is trying to be helpful but is getting in the way by wanting to sleep on it. My aunts and uncles on my mom’s side are going to pitch in and pay for the framing. So this is a community post for my mom’s birthday as people know she has stage three lung cancer. As you know I live in Seattle but my mom lives in Olympia and her birthday is on a Friday. I was informed by my new boss as well as HR that I can take that Friday off and have a three day weekend in Olympia to spend with my mom. I’m beyond grateful that my community of friends, family, neighbors and former colleagues are helping me with this project. I hope my mom feels as supported as I do when she hears about all involved in this project. I love my mom so very much and hope that the cancer can be taken care of. I really love my mom and hopes she likes this birthday present.

18 Days in a Row of Blogging

Good Afternoon, World!!! As of today, I have been blogging for eighteen days in a row as of today. Part of it because I started doing Weekly Plans on Sundays once again. My next hope is to do Weekly Check-Ins on Saturdays but I can use the excuse of doing courses WordPress puts on through Blogging University. I started by doing Everyday Inspiration which is a twenty day course. I also signed up for both of the Photography; Developing your eye one and two. Both courses are ten days each which equals twenty days. So that equals to forty days in a row. I also signed up of Intro to Poetry which is also a ten day course. If you add all the courses I’ve signed up for it equals to fifty days in a row. I also signed up for a five day course about commenting and intend to do the course in the middle the courses I am currently taking and/or signed up for.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Everyday Inspiration; Day 8: Reinvent the Letter Format

In all honesty this is going to be a short and brief post because if feels like it is having me reinvent the letter or write a letter to someone who I don’t want to write one to or worse write one to someone who passed away. I don’t feel like rewriting a letter to someone who is dead or so to someone who might not give a fucking shit. That’s all I have to say about that.
