A Late Post about New Years Goals for 2022 Part One

Good Evening, World!!! I know it’s the last day of January and many people have already discussed and started their new years goals. Some even failed at them already which is something that many people do including myself.

I have many goals for the year 2022 and realize that my goals can change for whatever reason and I am okay with that. So, as of right now one of my new years gIoals for 2022 is to learn to read tarot cards. This is to help me direct what my day will be like and focus on what I need to focus on for the day. I first need to first read and learn about it before doing readings on myself and hopefully others. I also have a tarot journal to document what my reading informed me for the day. The cool thing is that the first and only tarot card set is cats. It is my hope that as I learn about tarot as well as use my tarot journal that I will document here on my blog post.

Of course another another way for me to stay connected to the world as well as my self is to restart both mindfulness and meditation practices. I say this because when I started this last year that last one hundred days it helped a great deal with with not just my mental health symptoms but my everyday life like going to work and volunteering. I ended up having more focus on what I needed to do. I am also plan on focusing on journaling before and after a mindfulness and/or mindfulness practice so I can see any improvement in life including my recovery as well as my work and volunteer job.

Speaking of work and volunteering, I plan on continuing on doing both. I don’t see any changes in work or volunteering as I love doing both, I according to those in charge I am doing a “great job and always willing to learn.

As fart as my cat Billie Dean, I will continue to take care of him and most importantly, love him with all my heart. He is a sweet love bug of a cat that is such a cuddle bug. I love my cat so much. I don’t know how lucky I got with Billie choosing me to adopt him.

Of course I have other goals for the new year. On of which is to read. Specifically, read books that I have been meaning to read for years. It is my plant to read six books this year in 2022. To me this seems like a realistic goal I can accomplish when it comes to reading.

Another go I have for this year is to do some art work. My plan is to color two coloring pages as well as paint at least one painting. I feel like this is a realistic goal. I am looking forward to this goal as well as well as my other goals.

I do have have other goals in which I will share in another post within the next couple of days. I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciation from my end of things that you the reader read m blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writer my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope you have a good night sleep. Peace Out, World!!!

My New Year’s Goals at a Glance

Hello, World!!! It is nearly nine thirty at night in my neck of the woods known as Seattle. I don’t think I have mentioned my goals for this year. I have a ton of them but will share just a handful of my goals for tonight.

First, I will be continuing to volunteering at PAWS Cat City as it helps me keep grounded. Not only does it help me keep ground but I get to help the cats find furrever homes which brings me a great deal of joy.

Another thing I plan on doing is mindfulness meditation practice on the daily basis. This, too keep me grounded. It also helps me keep my emotions under control.

Another thing that will help me with my emotions is doing self help workbooks. Workbooks that can help me with my emotions and help me be a better peer specialist.

I also plan on doing art as art helps me be creative and be able to express my emotions in a positive way. I love the fact the art can help me be a more positive person and less angry.

Reading is another way to help with my emotions and is great goal for me. Reading helps me escape from the realties of what is going on in the hard and harsh world we live in. Reading is a great escape for me and helps me come up with idea’s to do art work.

I have more New year’s goals for 2022 and will share them in another post. I do want to say that my cat, Billie Dean is one of my goals for this year. Billie is a goal for this year to make sure he stat heathy due to hi kidney disease. Thankfully it is under control and not exactly at stage one yet which is a great thing. He is such a love bug that loves to cuddle. I love him so much and I am sure he loves me back.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. It means a great deal that you read my blog. Peace Out, World and have a great night of sleep.

Restarting Something Helping Me with My Recovery

Good Night, World!!! It is nearly midnight in my neck of the world known as Seattle. At the beginning of this years I started going to a twelve-step program that more focused on recovery with changing yourself than exclusively only using the twelve-steps. The twelve-steps is more of a guide and the focus of changing yourself and reparenting yourself is the key to this program. Anyway, I hadn’t been in over six months till tonight and am grateful I went. I am thinking this will be part of my recovery as I need to learn to deal with my inner child and how to reparent myself.

In fact this something I have been starting work on with my relatively new therapist. So, I feel like going to this program and therapy will be have great help in my own recovery. Therapy and the twelve-step program isn’t the only way I need to continue to help with my recovery is going for daily walks twice daily, doing daily mindfulness meditation practice and of course spending time with my beloved cat, Billie Dean. Billie really helps my recovery.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you do read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. So, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Sleepless in Seattle Once Again

Good Morning, World!!! I am wide awake once again at god awful time in in the middle for no reason at all. It is starting to get me fucking frustrating that I can not sleep. Insomnia sucks. I of course am listening to a podcast on philosophy as well as listening to music. Both help with good self care but occasionally don’t help on occasion.

I have also been doing some coloring how ever my hands are getting cramped up. So leads me to doing the CAlm app which helps me a great deal. I think I will be doing to mindfulness stuff to help help me sleep today.

I have hope everyone has a great night head of them. I will b spending tie with my cat Billie Dean as he she loves to cuddled with me. I love my Billie so much.

I don’t have much more to say in this blog post. I thank you for reading my blog post. It means a great deal to me. Thank you for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! I realize I haven’t done weekly check-ins in a while. I will do my best to do weekly check-ins more regularly. Whenever, I do weekly check-in’s I wonder what you the reader think of them.

On that note, this week has been quite the week. A week that went by slowly but also had good moments in it. Let’s use today as an example. My grandpa and uncle came by my apartment to help me clean it. They didn’t have to do this but they did. I still have a lot to do with cleaning my apartment however I am greatly appreciative that I had help from family. I am also grateful for the love my family has for me.

Speaking of love, I feel the love from my friends as well. A neighbor of mine who is a friend invited me over for dinner twice this past week. I was able to have dinner with this friend both times she invited me to dinner. It was nice spend time with this friend.

As far as work goes, it went well this week. It did go by slowly but that is okay because some weeks are going to be like that. Yesterday (Friday), was paperwork day. I was bored as I was and am all caught up on paperwork. I was able to get some unexpected stuff done thanks to my supervisor and small group team. A client will be benefitting because of the help of my supervisor and colleagues.

This past week I realized, I haven’t been doing mindfulness meditation practices on the daily basis like I was at the beginning of the year. So, I started it back up again three days ago. Mindfulness meditation practice helps me be able to be a better person as well as help me cope.

Another thing I have started back up is journaling on the daily basis. I am using journaling daily as a form of a daily check-in with myself. Doing some journaling daily as a form of a check-in with myself will also help me figure out what I need to work on with my therapist.

Now on to the topic of my cat, Billie Dean. Billie has been more of a cuddle bug than he normally is. I am not one hundred percent sure why he is being more of a cuddle bug, I am grateful that he is being more of a cuddle bug. Having Billie in my life has been quite helpful and I love him so very much.

I do not have anything else to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my end of things that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

A Buttload of Emotions

Hello, World!!! Today, I have had a buttload of emotions. The main emotion that bothered me today was anger. Anger over a training at work. I know why I was angry and it really didn’t have anything to do with the training itself but the trainer. Even though the trainer didn’t do anything negative in the training today, I have had some pretty negative experiences with this person. The negative experiences I had with this person was about fifteen years ago and thought I was over it till I saw this person and realize that I wasn’t over it.

So, when the training was over I did a five minute mindfulness meditation practice. A mindfulness meditation practice that helped a great deal and did two more times before the end of work. All three times I did the mindfulness meditation practice helped a great deal.

After work I called a friend as a well as my grandpa. After talking with both my friend and grandpa on the phone, I visited a neighbor in my building who has become a friend. Talking with friends and family helped a great deal. I felt the love from friends and family and that helped with my anger.

Speaking of love, I felt the love from my cat, Billie Dean. He could tell I was have a challenging time so he sat on my lap. Billie being on my lap also helped my anger. I am so grateful that my cat, Billie, can tell when I am having tough moments like today. He is an amazing kitty and I love him so much.

I do not have anything else to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you my reading I wouldn’t be blogging. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Trying Out New Bedtime Routine

Hello, World!!! I am trying out a new bedtime routine tonight. I know from times past when I try a new bedtime routine it won’t work right away as I need to make it a routine to have it work. That means if it doesn’t work tonight, I continue to try doing it for a few weeks to see if it will work or not.

I will start not being on my computer or watching the television an before I plan to go to bed. When I do this I will spend doing a ten minute mindfulness meditation on my phone from the Calm App. After that I will snuggle into bed and start reading. Reading a book of my choosing. Specifically a book that is meant to fun such as fantasy or science fiction. I plan on doing this as to help relax me and make it easier to get to sleep.

Of course my cat Billie Dean will be next to me as part of my bedtime routine as he has been a part of it since his first night home. It is always nice to have Billie sleep with me.

So, here is having my new bedtime routine helps with my sleep as I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you do read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reading I would not be continuing to write my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
