Everyday Inspiration; Day 10: Let the Scene Write Itself

Right now I am working from home. I am sitting in a comfy chair in front of my work computer. Technically, it’s a laptop but you get the idea. I am looking at my schedule for the day. Nothing but meetings all day. Well, not all day; I am seeing two client virtually today.

Not only do I see my work laptop, I see my cat, Billie Dean. Billie is on his cat tree looking out my living room window. I’m not sure if he is seeing a bird or two or even a squirrel but Billie is looking intently at something outside.

Another thing I see is the wall in front of me. It has pictures. Pictures of my beloved family. A family that may be dysfunctional but at least I know my family loves me. I know they love me even when we don’t get along. I love my family.

Everyday Inspiration; Day 6: The Space to Write

As far as a space to write depends on if I am working from home or from the office. When it comes to working from the office, it is easier to write notes. As far as writing notes for work when I work from my home, I do have a “work space” which I not only do appointments with clients virtually but have to write notes on my client and it seems to be working.

As far as writing space for blogging it depends on my mood, the weather and my work schedule. I usually blog from home in various places that is not my home work space. I also l like to take space to write outside when the weather is good. Preferably at parks that have some nature hiking trails in some of the Seattle Park system. I tend to do my best writing when I’m in “nature” even if it’s in the middle of the city.

Of course when I am writing in one of my favorite places at home when it is not work related, my cat Billie Dean loves to help me write. Billie even want to help me with my work notes but he seems to want to help with the non work stuff. I love the Billie tries to help me write. I love him so much.

Everyday Inspiration; Day 3: 1-Word Inspiration

Home

I chose the word home because home can mean many things to different people. Home can be many places as well. I’ve called and currently call many places home.

Let’s start with my first home. My first home is the place I grew up. In fact I grew up in Anaheim, California. Not too far from Disneyland. Hell, you could seen the Disneyland fireworks from both my front and back yards of my childhood home. You didn’t even to to sit on the roof of the house to see them. I lived there with my dad and grandparents. Even though I don’t live there or have family that live there anymore that will be home.

Another place I called home as a child is Olympia, Washington. Hell, it still feels like home as an adult when I go and visit. I spent my summers and winter vacations in Olympia to visit my mom as my parents have been divorced since I was a toddler. I still go to Olympia to visit my mom a few times a year, now that I live in the Seattle area.

Now lets talk about my current home in Seattle. My home is where my cat is as well as the teddy bear I had since I was born. It’s also that place I like to be most as my cat loves me unconditionally and my teddy bear doesn’t judge me. I am sure my cat, Billie Dean judges me but that’s okay because I know he loves me.

Last but not least home is also where my grandpa lives which isn’t far from where I live. It’s home for me because of my grandpa loves me and he helped raise me. I guess just being with my grandpa makes me feel at home even if we are in the car driving some place.

Weekly Check In

Good Evening, World!!! It is another weekend and it’s Saturday. Saturdays are the day I have chosen to do my weekly check ins with you my reader since Saturdays are technically the last day of the week according to most calendars.

I do not have much to check in about this week. Overall, work went well this week. Art group at work went really well and if felt really productive. Or at least more productive this past Monday than in the recent past. I think doing art group is one of my favorite parts of my job. I love my job and being able to help clients where they are at.

On the friend front, I went and hung out with a good friend of mine yesterday (Friday) evening. We went out to dinner. We of course went to our favorite restaurant, Red Robin. I love Red Robin so much that I ended up getting six gift cards for Red Robin for Christmas totaling one hundred fifty dollars. My friends and family know me well when it comes to my favorite restaurant of Red Robin.

As far as family goes is I went to my grandpa’s house today. I did some of my laundry which is nice because I don’t have to pay for it like I do in my apartment building. One of my uncles made some enchilada’s for dinner. Boy was is good. I love spending time with my family. My grandpa also took me to renew my driver license today. We waited nearly three hours which sucked but at least I got to spend time with my grandpa.

Now that I am home for the remainder or the weekend with a couple of exceptions, I am spending some much needed time with my cat Billie Dean. Billie has helped me quite a bit this week when I’ve been home. My PTSD has been acting up and Billie know exactly what to do and he didn’t need any training. When I haven’t been working from home, I’ve been spending time with Billie as well as doing artwork while listening to music very loudly. In fact the artwork I have been doing is coloring. I’ve been coloring to some pretty awesome music. In fact, I’ve listened to MxPx, ACDC, Guns & Roses and Twisted Sister. It’s been one of them weeks where I needed some very loud music.

I do not have much more to say in this particular post. I do, however, want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Idiot Alarm Pulling Neighbor Finally Arrested

Good Fucking, Morning, World!!! The idiot neighbor who admits to the firefighters that he pulls the fire alarm because other neighbors aren’t wearing their mask because of Covid-19 finally got his ass arrested. It’s only taken well over a year of him doing this for him to finally get his ass arrested.

Now my other neighbors, myself and our pets including my cat don’t have to worry about a fire alarm going off for no fucking reason. We don’t have to evacuate the build with our pets and making sure are disabled neighbors get evacuated due to the false alarms of this neighbor pulling the alarm due to other neighbors not wearing their mask. My neighbors as well as myself and everyone’s pets are finally relieved that we don’t have to worry about this neighbor pulling the fire alarm.

The police and firefighters appeared as happy as me and my neighbors are that he finally got arrested. Dude sadly doesn’t understand why he got arrested. I personally think he needs a psychiatric evaluation but that is my opinion.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Before Going into the Office Post

Happy Friday, Morning, World!!! As much as I really don’t want to work today, I am looking forward to it. In fact Fridays is one of the days I actually work from the actual office and not from home. There are pros and cons from working from both the office and from home.

The plus side of working from the office is that it appears that I am more productive. Another plus to working in the office is I get to see a half dozen or so colleagues in person. Plus, the cool thing is I get to have a couple of in person sessions with clients.

As far as working as working from home I enjoy it but sadly, I am not as productive. I do have to say working from home remotely has made my colleagues and I more closer as co-workers because we make an effort to have “get togethers” even if its only once or twice a week via Zoom after work hours. I another reason why I like working from home is I get to sleep in a bit longer and wear comfortable clothing from the waist down. My “professional” clothing is mostly comfortable. The best part from working from home is have my cat be my colleague. With that being said, my cat, Billie Dean, is sometimes the reason why I get so distracted working from home. Another plus is if I’m working from home and having a virtual appointment, sometimes my cat makes an appearance which helps build a positive rapport with clients.

Even though I haven’t met all my colleagues in person yet, I am grateful that I have become friends with them. In fact I have become close friends with three of my colleagues which is cool. I love the people I work with and love my job.

I have to get going and finish getting ready for work since I go into the office today which is why I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. I hope everyone has a beyond awesome weekend ahead of you. Happy Friday and Peace Out, World!!!

Ready to go to Bed & It’s Not Even 6:00pm

Good Evening, World. According my clock on the wall in my living room, it is 5:30pm here in Seattle and I am tired as hell. I am so ready for bed. Hell, I might even go to bed early which means, I most likely will go to bed after I finish writing (and posting) this particular blog post. I’m not sure why I am so tired but I know why I have been so relaxed and calm today especially this afternoon and evening.

I took a mental health day off from work today due to some light burnout. On that note, I have been home all day doing self care acts knowing it will help with my slight burnout. I started out the day by using the calm app to do some mindfulness meditation. I also did a couple other mindfulness meditation practice they have. On top of that I was able to do some check ins with the calm app and see how helpful it was and is to me.

Another thing that helped me get relaxed and calm is my cat Billie Dean. Billie appears to know when I need extra cuddling time to get myself calm. On that note I was able to do some mindfulness meditation with Billie, my cat laying on my lap for two and half hours.

Despite the lack of sleep last night I really think doing mindfulness meditation helped me become more sleepy. That is why I am considering that my bedtime for today will be about six o’clock in the evening here in Seattle.

Since I don’t have much more to say except goodnight and thank you for reading my blog. If it weren’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Goodnight and Peace Out World!!!

Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! It is that time of week that I do my weekly check-in. First and fore most I have been working from home due to the fact that I have been dealing with Covid-19. My work is wanting me to come back to the office at least once a week if not twice a week. So I go a Covid-19 test yesterday to see if it comes back negative which I hope it does because I am going stir crazy isolating because of Covid. On that note at least my employer has be very supportive. I consider myself that I am able to work from home when I am not so fatigue from having Covid-19.

On that note, my family and friends as well as my neighbors have supportive of me going through Covid-19. My family, friends and neighbors have been making sure I’ve been getting fed with food they make me. They also provide me with stuff like toilet paper and cleaning supplies. I’m grateful that I have people in my life that care about me and willing to make sure I am doing okay.

Going back to the work issue, I feel like I am lucky that I am able to have the luxury from home. Yes, I did have to take about week off because Covid-19 sucks shit and was so fatigue from it that even working from home was challenging. Again, I am happy that I am well enough to be able to work from home. Yes, I still fill shitty but at least I feel well enough go work from home and I am lucky to be able to work from home.

As far as my sleep goes, it sucks shit. I didn’t sleep well last night and ended up sleeping all day today. My sleep hygiene sucks right now. I am not sure why but I would like to blame having Covid-19. Weather or not Covid is the reason why my sleep schedule is so off.

I don’t have much more lack of sleep issue. I sadly slept all day today due to the lack of sleep I got last night. I really do not like when my sleep schedule is so out of wack but I realize that I will get back to a normal sleep schedule for myself.

I don’t have much more to say about my weekly check in. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. If it wasn’t for you my reader, I would not be writing my blog. I greatly appreciate that you read my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading in my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

The Never Ending Thursday

Good Afternoon, World!!! Today feels like a really long Thursday. A Thursday that feels like the never ending storying. I think it feel like this is because I am still dealing with some symptoms of Covid-19. I am especially dealing with the fatigue, the brain fog, as well as the continuous sleepiness and migraines. At least the diarrhea is finally going away.

Oh a plus note, my employer has been very supportive with the Covid stuff as well as other stuff that might come up. My employer is extremely supportive and appreciates us employees. You don’t get that and many employees.

The best part of all this is I get to work from home and still get paid. And my colleague at home, my cat Billie Dean like to help. Sometimes his helpfulness can be a hinderance but at least my cat brings smiles to clients face and I say that is worth the hinderances. I do have to say Billie is my favorite colleague.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciate that you the reader do read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Too Early to Be Awake on a Saturday Morning

Good Morning, World!!! It is just barely four o’clock in the morning Seattle time and I have been awake is just before three o’clock in the morning Seattle time. Not sure if it is the insomnia keeping me awake or if it is the Covid-19 cough keep me up or both. Whatever the reason, I just want to go back to sleep but that will be a bit hard to do at the moment as Billie Dean my cat is now being active since I am up. He is wanting to play which I will oblige. It also appears that some of my neighbors can’t sleep either. It appears many of us have sleepless nights on the same nights as I wonder if there something to do that. Whatever that reason, I am going to try to go back to sleep.

I’m not sure how I will try to get back to sleep I will make an attempt to go back to sleep as I want to get better from having stupid Covid-19. But least my sweet loving cat Billie will be doing his best to help me sleep. I love my cuddle bug of a cat. I love my cat so very much and don’t know how I would manage the hold Covid shit the last two years without him.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end that you my reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone has a great Saturday ahead and an awesome weekend. Peace Out, World!!!
