The Hate & Violence Needs To Stop

Good Morning, World!!! If you live in the United State I am sure you are well aware of the shooting that killed eleven people at Synagogue in Pittsburgh. All I know is that hate and violence need to fucking stop. I don’t understand why the mass shootings are getting worse.

This time around the mass shooting happened a Synagogue which is considered a hate crime here in the United States. It pisses me off that one particular political party is saying that this shooting wouldn’t have happened if there were armed guards. Unfortunately, I think if there were armed guards at the Synagogue, I think the situation would have turned out much worse.

Have armed guards everywhere is not the solution. Having common sense gun laws (or common sense gun control) is what is needed. But here in America people are so set for the second amendment. I am not a fan of guns for many reasons but I understand having the right to bare arms however we need some form of common sense gun laws to help prevent mass shootings or any shooting for that matter. I’m not saying to my fellow Americans that I want to take away your guns, I am say we need better gun control

The thing that pisses me off even though I haven’t heard anything of this yet, is that in most mass shootings here in America, are blamed on people who have a mental health challenge. I am sorry to say this but the majority of people who have a mental health challenge happen to be the victim of a crime than be the perpetrator of a crime.

What happened yesterday at the Synagogue is a hate crime. A crime that is being encouraged by the current administration. That is why that the elections this year are extremely important. We need to get people in power who don’t encourage violence.

That is why I have voted. Yes, I already got my ballot and voted. It is in the mail as we speak. Voting is our civic duty and anyone who doesn’t vote has absolutely no right to complain about the current political climate or say anything regarding government agencies.

Okay, I think I am off my high horse. I am just pissed off that eleven people got killed at a Synagogue. I am also pissed about the continuous shootings that are happening throughout America and nobody seems to give a shit.

Thank you for reading for my blog. I am sorry for the post being so angry. I just don’t like when people get killed. Again, thank you for reading. It is greatly appreciated that you read my blog. Peace Out, World and lets stop the hate.

More Tuesday Randomness

Hello, once again, World!!! As I mentioned to you in my last two post I slept most of the day due to being in the hospital most of the night last night. Well, I am still quite sleepy and might go to be early. It is only 8:45 in the evening in my corner of the world. So after I am done posting this post I might call it a night.

As many tomorrow is Wednesday and I have a busy day. My day will start with me going to a phone bank to volunteer. Yes, I said phone bank. What I am going to be doing at the phone bank is calling people to remind people to vote. Specifically, asking individuals to vote for certain politicians. Yes, I am volunteering for a particular political party which I won’t disclose due to not wanting to start a political battle on my blog. I just feel like this years mid term elections are extremely import this year. More so than any other mid term election.

After I am done volunteering at the political phone bank I am going to my local mental health agency to not only see my therapist but attend a communications group. I would have saw my therapist today but I slept most of the day due to being in the emergency room all night last night and needed the sleep. Since I am going to be going to see my therapist tomorrow I might as well as attend a new group on healthy communication. I figure that I can always learn something new about communication as I don’t communicate very well at times. So, I’ll be seeing my therapist and attending group therapy.

After attending group and seeing my therapist I will be going out to dinner with some from friends. We are not sure where we are going yet. We just know we are not going to Red Robin even though I would prefer to go to Red Robin.  All I know is I am looking forward to spending time with friends while enjoying some good food.

After a semi early dinner with friends, I will be going to a work training tomorrow evening. I am looking forward to the training as the training is something I haven’t really learned about in previous work training’s at previous employers. The one thing I need to do is look at my work email tomorrow morning so I am all caught up on work related stuff. I am looking forward to the training.

Now that I have informed you on what I am going to do tomorrow, Wednesday, I want to kindly remind you of something which I have already done recently. That reminder is that I have advertisements on my blog. I have those advertisements on my blog to earn some extra money even if it is a few extra cents. Every times someone clicks an advertisement (and lets it fully load), I can earn as little as a few cents or as much as a couple of dollars. I know it doesn’t sound like much but each penny counts.  It will help buy gift for family and friends for the upcoming holiday season despite what holiday they celebrate. So please do this blogger a good thing so I can give gifts to those who love and care about me. It would mean a great deal to me if you are able to click on an ad once or twice a week if not more.

Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. It means a great deal to me that I have people who read my blog. You all mean the world to me. So thank you for reading my blog again. I hope everyone has a great rest of their Tuesday. Peace Out, World!!!

It’s Been a Busy Couple of Weeks

Hello, World!!! It has been almost two weeks since I last posted. I have been busy with a lot of things lately especially job related. I’ve done my three shadowing shifts that I needed to do. In fact it is suppose to be six shadowing shifts however everyone I shadowed informed my supervisor that I don’t need all six shadowing shifts. I still have other training’s I need to do as part of my job. Despite having to do more training’s for work, I still yet to be called to do a shift for someone as I am an on call shelter counselor.

On top of work stuff I have been volunteering at the Warm Line as well as a group facilitator at a peer run agency. Not only am volunteering two places and working I am also volunteering for two local politicians. I am the annoying person who calls you to remind you to vote and to endorse the candidate I am volunteering for. So, yes, I am getting more involved with politics this year. I loved it the last time I did it and have decided to do this year.

I have also been going to doctors appointments every two weeks. This is to help me not go to the emergency room for minor health issues as well as mental health stuff. It appears to be working a great deal as it is keeping me from going to the emergency room for minor health issues.

On top of seeing my regular doctor every two weeks, I am seeing my therapist twice a week.  He is doing this to help me stay out of the emergency room as well the extra support I need right now in regards to my new job. My therapist is amazing. He is just as amazing as Gilbert and Diana were.

Thank you for reading. I hope to be more vigilant when it comes to blogging on the more regular basis. I am grateful for all of you who read my blog regularly. Have a goodnight everyone. Peace out, world!!!

A Post In Respect to Senator McCain and My Grandma

Good Morning, World!!! As I type here at my laptop, I watching the Sunday morning news. The main topic of the morning news is about the death of Senator John McCain. The news is doing a great job in honoring Senator John McCain.

As the country mourns the death of an amazing man, John McCain, my heart goes out to his family. My heart goes out to his family because my family and I are still mourning the death of my grandma. Yes, my grandma’s death was on Valentines Day of this year (2018) which was six and half months ago and Senator McCain’s death was only yesterday. My heart goes out to the family of Senator McCain because I truly understand the pain they must be going through. Yes, the deaths of my grandma and Senator McCain were due to two different diseases but still as difficult deal with.  My grandma passed away due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease while Senator McCain passed away due to Brain Cancer. Both the diseases my grandma and Senator McCain may have be completely different but both affected the brain. So that is why my heart goes out a little more to his family because I understand to an extent of what his family is going through.

As I watch the news about Senator McCain, I can’t help but be hit my grief to not just his death but the death of my grandma. As many of you know, I have been hit hard by a wave of grief of my grandma’s death within the last week even though her death was six and half months ago.

So, as I end this post I want to honor both Senator John McCain and my grandma. I may not be a conservative like Senator McCain, I admire his work as a war hero and politician. So, please take the time out today to honor Senator McCain and the loved ones you have lost just like I am going to do. Thank you for reading my blog. Please, if comment on this post, be respectful. I am honoring my grandma and Senator McCain. Have a great day. Peace Out, World!!!

There’s Nothing Like Cuddles From The Cat

Good Evening, World!!! There is nothing like being home especially where there are cat cuddle’s involved. Being able to cuddle with my cat today, or any time for that matter, has been quite helpful to me. Having a cat to come home to makes being home that much more better.

Right now I am watching the five o’clock news. As usual there is nothing really good on the news. Just a bunch of politics. Mainly, a bunch of politicians acting like a bunch of children. In fact children act more mature than politicians do now a days.

Right now I am having my anxiety and depression are acting up and I am not sure why. I am attributing a little bit to my current health problems and other to not having a job.  I mainly blame it on my weird as mouth infection that appears that won’t fucking go away.

I think I am going to work on applying for jobs after I am done post this blog and getting some cuddles from my cat, Lil Gertie. Getting cuddles from my cat, Lil Gertie, is quite helpful for me. I think job hunting and applying for jobs will be helpful as well.

Thank you so much for reading my blog. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Have a great rest of you Sunday. Peace Out, World!!!

More Randomness From A Tired Person

Good Afternoon, World!!! I am still tired as hell due to the lack of sleep last night. The insomnia isn’t what kept me up last night though it play a small roll in the lack of sleep. Part of the reason I didn’t sleep last night was because some idiot of a neighbor kept pulling the pull stations on every floor to set off the fire alarm. Needless to say there were and are a lot of angry people and scared pets in the building right now.

I am looking forward to spending time with my grandpa later this afternoon. I am treating him to my favorite restaurant, Red Robin. I always get great food as well as great service when I go there.  My grandpa likes it there as well however it can be too loud for him to hear anybody.

I am still playing email tag with a future employer about a job. Actually, more like finding a time for a job interview. I hope to hear back from her sometime today. I really want this job as I will be working with the homeless once again and the best part I would be working within the age group I want to work with. That is young adults. Cross your fingers that I not only get the interview as it sounds like I will but cross them fingers that I get the job as well.

Something I did yesterday was apply for two volunteer positions. One with the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) and the other at Benaroya Hall, the home of the Seattle Symphony. These are some things that I am interested in. Plus it looks good on a resume’. It shows employer that that I have many interest in the community. The local community at that. Having the arts and music on my resume’ will show future employers that I am a well rounded person.

Another thing I am planning on doing that I could put on a resume’ with some discretion is volunteering for candidates that are running for election during this years mid-term elections.   I am already volunteering for two candidates and am excited to help them win the seats they are running for. With volunteering for anything politics putting it on a resume’ is dependent on where and what you’re applying for.

I am still in pain from the stupid mouth infection I am dealing with. That is why I am seeking health care from my doctor tomorrow. Hopefully, she can help with getting rid of the infection. I also hope she can help with the pain management thing as well.

It appears from my end of things that I have be quite long winded as of lately when it comes to my post. I hope you all don’t mind me being long winded. Sometimes I just need to let things out that I may not be able to talk about verbally to others or others might get tired of the randomness of the various topics I bring up.

Thank you so very much for reading my blog. I appreciate that you take the time to read it or even skim over it. I hope everyone has a great Thursday and Peace Out World!!!

Random Shit On The Mind

Hello, World!!! I know I keep blogging today however I have a lot of random shit on my mind at the moment. Some of the shit ain’t so random as I have posted it before especially today but it is still quite random.

At this very moment Lil Gertie, my cat, is sitting next to me staring at my laptop screen. I’m wondering if she wants to help and share her thought or is just figuring out what I am going to say next. I love my cat so much. If it wasn’t for support for the last three months I don’t know where I would be at the moment.

I have also discussed a great deal about working and not having a job. And trying to find creative ways to earn extra money while on Disability Checks. One way I have come up with a way to earn extra money though it is not much is having advertisements on my blog. I only make a few cents from it every time someone clicks on an advertisements and it is my hope that you my reader clicks on just one advertisement a day so the few cents can add up to dollars and so on.

Something that has come to mind for me is to start volunteering other places besides as group co-facilitator at peer run origination and a call taker on a help line.  I have thought about helping out with local politicians that are running in the mid-term elections. I figure it would help me with the job resume’ as well as build a community Another things I have done today that will both help the resume’ and build my own community is fill out volunteer application at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) and Benaroya Hall which host the Seattle Symphony.

Lil Gertie still seems to be supervising me which mean she wants attention. I better give her some since I’ve been sleep and blogging most of the day. I hope you have the good rest of you Wednesday Evening. Peace Out, World!!!

Something To Think About

Good Afternoon, World. I have a lot to think about as I continue to play email tag with a potential employer for an interview. Hell, I have been thinking about this for quite some time. I have been thinking about volunteering at more organizations as I continue to find a paying job.

One of things I am thinking about and have already started was volunteering for certain politicians as the mid term elections coming up in November. I don’t always use this particular volunteer experience in all my resume’s for good reasons but I do put them in other resumes’ If helps show a future employer that I am interested in the direction of what policies go into effect in our country then maybe it will be helpful with my career path. Plus, I get to build a community of new friends.

Something I did just today was put a volunteer application for both Seattle Art Museum (SAM) and Benaroya Hall which houses the Seattle Symphony and other events. I am doing to this help build my resume’ as well my community connections.

For me volunteering at places of interest isn’t always about building resume’s, its about building a community to call your own. Weather that be in Arts, Music or Politics. Finding common interest and common ground is what ultimately helps me with getting a job that I desire. It also looks good on the resume’. I hope that for me it builds more of community for me than my resume though it would be helpful to that as well.

I hope that as I end this post that I can give some hope to those who are feeling stuck in the job search like I am. Right now I am not giving up hope in find a place of employment nor a volunteer job.

Thank you for reading my post once again. I hope you continue to read my post. It means a lot to me. Have a great day. Peace Out, World!!!

An Ambien Fog Post While Still Sleepless in Seattle

Good morning, world. I am doing another Ambien fogged post while being Sleepless in Seattle. I highly don’t recommend you do this at all. Probably not one of my wisest choices I have done but certainly the worst I have done in an Ambien fog.

Right now my moth infection is what is keeping me up and the Ambien isn’t helping me sleep like it usually does. So I am blaming my physical illness on not being able to sleep due to the pain. There is only so much Ambien can do and it can’t help with pain. I just wish the doctors would have given me stronger than ibuprofen but hopefully my regular doctor will on Friday when I see her.

Right now, I am worrying about my cat as she is home alone since I am at my grandpa’s house. I know she is all right as a neighbor checked on her and said she as okay. I love my cat, Lil Gertie so much.

Besides worrying about Lil Gertie, I am worried about my health care and how much it is going to cost me. Now that Trump is in office I lost most what I got due to Obamacare.  I just wish Trump didn’t take away my much need health care away. I am a working class person and was doing well with ObamaCare and now that trump is in office I’m not getting good medical.

This is why I always volunteer for specific people running for office as well as going out and voting. Its a way that I know my voice is heard in a weird sort of way.

The Ambien fog is really kicking in if I am talking political on my post. I just hope that the tags I have put up bring new people to read my post. It might be a first post but at least it won’t be boring and at least it will be weird.

Thank you for reading. I hope everyone has a happy Tuesday and gets some rest like I am planning on it. Good Night and Peace Out, World!!!

It’s Been A Good May Day

Good Evening, World!!! Today has been a great day. I, of course went to my job interview. I feel like I nailed it. It well off really well or I thought it did.

Another thing I did today was meet with one of the politicians that serves the area I live in. I discussed with him about the recovery and peer support. He appeared highly interested in both. In fact our meeting last about an hour.

When I got home I emailed my other politicians about the same thing I discussed with the politician I met with today. Except I left it short and sweet. It is my hope that I can meet up with one more politician before the end of May but I know realistically won’t happen.

Thank you for reading. I feel satisfied with what I did for May Day 2018. Peace Out, World!!!
