Weekly Check-In

Good Evening, World!!! It is that time of week where I do my weekly check-in. This past week has had its ups and downs but if I really look at the week, it has had more ups than downs despite the challenging aspects of the week.

One of the many good aspects of this week has been spending it with some good friends as well as my partner. I have had dinner with a group of my friends twice this week and we all had a blast. As far as spending time with my partner, it is always time well spent. We spent most of last night (Friday) watching movies at my place eating a bunch of junk food. I don’t know what I did right to deserve the awesome friends and the love of my partner but I am grateful for them.

Besides spending much needed time with my partner and friends, I spent time with my cat, Billie. The last few days it has been quite freezing in Seattle so I stayed in as much as possible especially since there is currently snow on the ground in my Seattle neighborhood. Of course Billie my cat was and is happy that I am spending more time at home with him. While being home with my kitty, Billie, I have started reading a book and I am half way through it. I am not sure what to think of it yet or if I am going to read the next book in the series. I also have been doing some art work as I have been a hermit. The type of art work that I have been doing is coloring. I am coloring a giant poster and it feels like I am not getting anywhere with it but I am as you can tell by looking at it. I love to color.

I do not have much more to write about in this particular blog. I do want to thank you the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be continuing to write on my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Nightmares Sucks Sh!t; The Love of a Boyfriend & A Cat, Priceless

Good Morning, World!!! It is just after three o’clock in the morning, Seattle time. I am unable to sleep due to severe PTSD symptoms. Nightmares accompanied with body memories is never a good thing and I am beyond grateful to have Junior staying with me at the moment. Part of the reason Junior spent the night is because we spent last evening watching movies and eating junk food. I am beyond grateful for the movie date at home after a challenging session with my therapist yesterday. The distraction was much needed as well as it was enjoyed by both myself and Junior as well as my cat, Billie. Billie loves the attention, Junior gives him. I really wish the PTSD symptoms were not so severe as they suck shit. Anyway, I am happy that Junior is here to help me through this tough PTSD moment.

I do not have much more to write about in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you, the reader for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be continuing to write my blog. Taking a Mental Health Day from Work Tomorrow Wednesday 7/26/23

Right now I am realizing I am needing to take a mental health day off from work tomorrow Wednesday, July 26th, 23. I feel bad for doing this as I don’t want to put more work on my team however my supervisors and team members understand that taking a mental health day is something that is needed from time to time. I am grateful for my team being so supportive.

I realized I need to take a mental health day when I realized I wasn’t doing my regular self care regiment when my PTSD, Depression and Anxiety starts to act up especially when I don’t make it apart my daily self care or just quit doing it because I start to feel better. I know from experience what I need to do for self care.

I have many things to help me through self care regarding my mental health challenges as well as just everyday life. For one I can cuddle with my beloved cat, Billie. I can always read a book that I am quite enjoying. Another thing I can do is make sure I have food on a regular basis. Of course doing art work by painting, coloring and diamond art. Also I can also do crafting by cross stitching and latch hooking. Listening to music is a great help as well as listening to podcasts. Of course there are my friends I can reach out to and go for walks. Mindfulness Meditation has been a great deal of help to me. My family and friends are of great support. Self care is major in helping yourself so you can be able in staying in recovery.

So I am going to end this particular post for now. I want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated that you the reader, read my blog. It wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

It’s Been Too Long to Not Blog

Hello, World!!! It has been quite a while since I last blogged. I don’t have much of an excuse for not blogging with the exception of the last week. The last week I had Covid-19 once again. Covid sucks shit and am eager to get back to work tomorrow as I have been bored out of my mind watching nothing but television and movies via streaming sites. Of course my cat, Billie has kept me company the last week and am beyond grateful for his company and unconditional love.

I miss going to work and am eager to get back tomorrow. I have so much to catch up on at work. I love my job so much and I enjoy going to work.

I do not have much more to talk about in this particular blog. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Lazy Type of Day

Good Afternoon, World!!! It has been a lazy day. I started off the day reading the first two chapters of a holiday book when I woke up this morning with my cat Billie on my lap as I was sipping some hot teat. I started getting a little sleeping from reading even though the book appears to be so far so good in the first two chapter.

On that note I really did not want to go back to sleep and take a nap since I had already just woken up from a good night sleep. I decided to buy some stuff off of Amazon. Mostly, I purchased artsy and crafty and stuff with one exception of more tarot cards and a beginners guide to the beginners guide to tarot cards and guides. I have course will spend the rest of the day with my cat, Billie. Not sure if I will continue to read or end up watching movies.

As far as tomorrow goes, I plan on volunteering at PAWS Cat City. Of course when I get home, I will spend time with Billie. After that I will do some much need house hold chores of cleaning my apartment. So, tomorrow is going to be my chore day.

I do not have much more to say for this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. Happy Holidays and Peace Out, World!!!

Trying to Get to Sleep

Hello, World!!! It is nearly eleven at night here in Seattle with my cat, Billie Dean by my side. I’m having trouble going to sleep again. I just wish I knew why I have been having issues sleeping. It’s something to talk with my mental health and physical health teams about.

Anyway, I had an okay day today. I went to my grandpa’s home and did some of my laundry. I also helped my grandpa with some of his chores. He is 91 going on 92. I love my grandpa so much and am grateful for him everyday. He and my grandma helped my dad raise me.

The thing I’m planning on doing to help me relax enough to get to sleep. So, I am going to be watching Mr. Holland’s Opus which is a great movie that includes music. I love this movie and can watch it multiple times without getting sick of it.

I don’t have much more to discuss in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you my reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you reading my blog, I wouldn’t be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Have a good night and Peace Out, World!!!

Honoring Betty White on Her 100th Birthday

Good Morning, World!!! Today would have Betty White’s 100th birthday. I am sure that most of the world would be rooting for her to make to her 1l00th birthday. Sadly, she did not make it and was a wonderful woman and wonder that broke breakers in her time.

Most people don’t realize that she started in radio. Betty also failed at a lot of shows yet persevered with making sure her dreams came true. She not only did television shows but did many movies. Both television shows and movies proved how comical she was.. Not to mention just being a good all around comedian to make people laugh till they peed their pants.

On that note, I would like to take this time out to to encourage to donate money and/or time to help animals in need. I originally started volunteer time time as a local shelter as I had no money to donate so I donated my time and still do even though I can now donate money, I donate it as it is a great feeling to donate both time and money. If you can not donate money don’t worry about it as I am sure she will be grateful if you could only volunteer tear an hour week to he[p animals.

So, I ask that you either donate you time in volunteering your time at an animal shelter and/or donate your money to honor her legacy with he love of animals. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. it is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Not Exactly How I Planned to Start my Weekend

Good Saturday Afternoon, World!!! I did not get much sleep last night due to insomnia. When I did finally get to sleep a neighbor pulled the fire alarm on several occasions due to the fact other neighbors weren’t wearing their mask. I understand being frustrated others not wearing mask because we are in a middle of pandemic with Covid-19. That doesn’t me you pull a fire alarm because someone is not wearing a mask. Needless to say, I am extremely frustrated that this is still continuing and the police and apartment management company are doing shit. The fire department is fining the individual pulling the alarm as well the apartment management. So, at least the fire department is doing something about it.

On that note, my grandpa and uncle came over to drop some things off for me. They brought me some cough medicine as well cough drops because I am still dealing with the annoying and painful cough that is still lingering from having Covid-19. They even made me one of my favorite food and brought it me which is Cheese Tortellini. It was yummy and have some left over for dinner tonight. Oh how I love that my grandpa made me my favorite dish and that my uncle drove him to give it to me. And much to my surprise my uncle paid me back the money he owed be and gave me an extra $20 “for interest” because it took him so long to pay me back.

Now I am going to cuddle with my cat, Billie Dean, on my lap and watch a couple of movies. I’m not sure what movies I am going to watch but I know for a fact that Billie won’t mind spending a few hours on my lap as I do nothing but watch a movie or two.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope you all have an absolutely great weekend ahead of you and that it is a fun and relaxing one. Peace Out, World!!!
