Update on Coloring Poster for my Mom

I’m coloring this Mandela poster for my mom. As you can tell, I’ve colored a great deal but still have a lot of color left to do

Good Evening, World!!! I just wanted to give you an update about the poster I am coloring for my mom’s birthday in early September. I wanted to show you how far I have come and have far I have yet to accomplish. I think the best part of this poster is that other people, are helping with it. People who are my friends and don’t know her are helping. In fact my dad’s side of the family is helping has well. Billie, my cat is trying to be helpful but is getting in the way by wanting to sleep on it. My aunts and uncles on my mom’s side are going to pitch in and pay for the framing. So this is a community post for my mom’s birthday as people know she has stage three lung cancer. As you know I live in Seattle but my mom lives in Olympia and her birthday is on a Friday. I was informed by my new boss as well as HR that I can take that Friday off and have a three day weekend in Olympia to spend with my mom. I’m beyond grateful that my community of friends, family, neighbors and former colleagues are helping me with this project. I hope my mom feels as supported as I do when she hears about all involved in this project. I love my mom so very much and hope that the cancer can be taken care of. I really love my mom and hopes she likes this birthday present.

Everyday Inspiration; Day 7: Let Social Media Inspirer You

Being inspired by social media is a catch twenty-two. For example I’m on WordPress to blog and it is inspiring as I get to read peoples stories of inspiration and I don’t think I have seen and dram on WordPress. To me that is a good thing

Another good thing about another Social Media site I am on is LinkedIn as it is a professional social media site. I’m on it to make sure my name is out there just in case I need a new job like I did recently dud to being laid off. LinkedIn helped me get noticed for my last two jobs as well as my new job that I will be start this Monday. I’m getting excited and anxious about it which is normal.

As far as Facebook book goes, it’s full of drama. I’m mainly on it to see some old friends. Oh I can’t forget about seeing the animals and pets people share on their Facebook. I think the pets, animals and friends is the why I stay on Facebook because there is way too much drama on it.

Sleepless in Seattle so Coloring is the Activity of the Night

I sill have a lot more to go on my post for my mom birthday in early September but I think I will be done with it by hen with a frame to go with it.

Happy two of seven in the morning here in Seattle. I am coloring a post for my mom for her birthday. I’m also going to frame it. I hope she likes. I love my mom so much and wish she didn’t have stage three lung cancer. Getting the news that my mom has lung cancer was hard. On the plus side she had a MRI done and it turns out she does not have brain cancer so that is wonderful news.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I just wanted to show it you how far the picture is coming along and update you on my moms health issues. Thank your for reading my blog. If it greatly appreciative from my end of things that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out World!!!

Billie Got the Zoomies; Want to Play & Then Eat, so No Sleeping in For this Cat Owner

Good Morning, World. It is four forty nine in the morning here in Seattle. Billie, my cat decided to have the zoomies and after that want to play. I love my cat dearly but I would like to sleep in a little bit longer. Preferably eight in the morning but be okay with seven in the morning.

So my plans for the morning is feed the king of the house; my cat Billie Dean. After that, play with Billie. Right now his go to toys are balls especially the noisy ones. As much I wish I was asleep right now, I look at it two ways, Billie is getting me prepared to waking up early when I start work next week and that I have time to do some art work actually some coloring.

I’m pretty sure I will be listening to some music. Most likely my recovery play list. If I don’t listen to music then I will listen to podcast on philosophy. Specifically the podcast “Philosophize This.” I’m not sure why I like to listen to music or a podcast while coloring but maybe it helps me with the creative juices in my brain.

I do not have much more to say is in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog post. It is greatly appreciative from my end of thigs that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. So, thank you once again from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World.

Middle of the Night of No Sleep So Art Work & Music Type of Night

I’m not finished with coloring his Mandela but I worked on it a good hour.. I hope to update you with my progress with it. Coloring helps with my recovery as well as my mindfulness meditation

Sadly, I am not able to fall asleep again tonight so I decided to color. The above picture is what I colored just tonight as I listened to music. In fact I listened to my recovery play list. Coloring is a form of mindfulness meditation for me and the music helps me get into the groove. In fact there was a period of time my cat Billie Dean was trying to help me color which complicated things for a few minutes.

I don’t have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out World!!!

Update About Last Night & Other Random Thoughts

Good Morning, World!!! My last post was quite concerning if you read it you know there were some gunshots and sadly two people were shot. Thankfully, they are going to survive. I know it scared the shit out of many people including myself and my cat.

Now on to my random thoughts. Well maybe not so random. I’m not sure if I mentioned that my mom has stage three lung cancer. My mom doesn’t appear to worried about it but the rest of the family including myself is worried. Well, all except my brother because nobody has heard or seen him since my mom got diagnosed with lung cancer. I’m worried about both my mom and my brother. It’s unheard of that he hasn’t contacted anyone especially my mom since he is a mama’s boy.

Now on to the real random thoughts that I am having. If you read my blog on the regular basis or even if this is your first time reading my blog you may have noticed I have advertisements. I have advertisements to make money. The only way I get paid is if people click on them. Granted it might be a cent or two or maybe three per click but it adds up. Sadly, WordPress doesn’t pay you till you hit at least one hundred dollars. So if you could kindly click on one advertisement, whenever you read my blog it would be greatly appreciated.

On to more random thoughts, my neighbors a screaming at each other again. Well, one is screaming and the other is just trying to get to their apartment. The one neighbor screaming just needs different type of housing. Personally, the neighbor that is screaming needs to be in supportive housing where there are staff there 24/7 if someone is in need of talking to someone or in crisis. This neighbor appears to be in crisis quite often.

I should get going as my cat Billie Dean is wanting some attention. Oh how I love my cat, Billie. Billie is such a lap cat and loves all the attention he can get. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

It Wasn’t Fireworks

I’m not even going to hi or good morning as I was rudely awakened by what I thought was fireworks. Well it was not fireworks but gunshots. Of course it not only scared the shit out of me but out of my cat as well as my neighbors and their pets. Now there is a buttload of Seattle Police surrounding not just my building but other buildings on my street. There is also a buttload of fire department vehicles (Fire Engines, Ladder Trucks, Medic One Ambulances, Battalion Chiefs and even the Chief of the fire department).

All I know is it wasn’t fireworks and it was gunshots. Sadly, there were at least two people shot. As far as I know nobody thankfully was killed. On that note having two people shot is still scary. Another thing that is scary is that we can’t leave our building much less our apartments with a couple of expiation’s which are coming home from someplace of course needing to show a valid I.D/Drivers License/Passport or if the person has an emergency or has to go to work.

Needless to say many of us in my building and I’m sure other people in the neighboring apartment building are scare shitless. I know I am. My cat was scared at first but he appears to have calmed down. The poor dog two doors down from me is still freaking out as he is still barking.

I was sound asleep when the gunshots happened and I am tired as hell. I’m scared to go back to sleep. Most importantly I am worried about the two gunshot victims even though they lived in the building next door to my building. I know I shouldn’t be as scared as I am but I am. At least I know I am safe and alive.

And now there are more gunshots which is why I am purposely sitting on the floor below any windows. This is not going to be a fun night as I’m still waiting to give my statement to the police after the initial gunshots. I just want to go to sleep without being in fear of being shot.

Well, I should get going. I just want to try to calm myself down. I hope to update you all later.

Too Early To be Awake

Good Morning, World. It is four are seven in the morning Seattle time. I’ve been awake since three thirty three this morning. I really don’t like waking up so early; It fact as I blog, I am listening to Philosophize This. I’m listening to Philosophize This is giving me some education about a subject I am not vrrr familar with;

One of the things i will do is color as I do some art work. Specifically, I plan on coloring. I’m coloring a poster. in fact I am coloring a poster of a mandala. There is something relaxing about doing a mandala.

I don’t have much more to say except coloring while listening to Philosophize This. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. it it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

A Day to Cuddle With my Cat & Do Self Care

Good Morning, world from Seattle. It is a beautiful day in the Seattle. In fact I did some walking as I did my mindfulness meditation practice. I also did another mindfulness meditation as I cuddle with my cat, Billie Dean.

Todays a day of self care. I will be reading a book or I should start reading a book. I am looking forward to reding the book as it appears to be a good book from what the back side says. The books name is Freedomland by Richard Prize.

Another thing I will do it some crafting. Mainly I will do some cross stich. It is a mindfulness meditation for me me. The only problem is that Billie like to play with the string. Even though he likes to play with the string it is still relaxation.

Of course I will be cuddling my cat, Billie. Billie love to cuddle and love to sit on my lap as well as lay by my side when I am in bed or taking a nap.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from mu end of things that you read my blog. If it was not for you the reader,, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blob. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
