Everyday Inspiration; Day 19: Feature a Guest

A picture of Billie Dean the Kat who is the featured guest

Good Morning, World!!! I know it is weird to have a cat or any animal as a featured guest on a blog. My plan is to ask him questions and answer them the way I think he would answer them as he were able to speak human and not just meow like the cat he is. Here is the “interview.”

Me: How did we originally meet?

Billie: We met while you doing a regular volunteer shift at PAWS Cat City.

Me: Was it love at first sight for you?

Billie: I think it was love at first sight for the both of us. I know you love my crinkly ear and you can’t deny that.

Me: When you came home with me, how did you feel?

Billie: Do you really need to ask that question? You know I love you unconditionally.

Me: What can I do better as your parent?

Billie: You can feed me at the butt crack of dawn when I ask for it then. Hell, you can feed me whenever I ask for it even if there is still food in the bowl.

Me: You do realize I’m not going to get up at the butt crack of dawn to feed you when I know you have food?

Billie: Yes, but do you remember who runs this home?

Me: Of course I do. You run this home, I just pay the bills.

Billie: I love you but I’m done with this interview. It’s time for another nap.

A Middle of a Sunday Afternoon Update

Good Afternoon, World!!! I’m not feeling so good. It’s not because I am sick; it is because I am dealing with the worst cramps in the world and I usually have some pretty bad cramps. These cramps are some of the worst I’ve had that at one point in time they were so painful, I actually cried and had to take one of my narcotic medications to relieve the pain. I rarely take a narcotic pain reliever especially for cramps as I have high tolerance for pain.

Since my cramps were so bad I called in sick to my volunteer job. I called out because wouldn’t be able to do my volunteer work like should do it because of my stupid period.

Having a period doesn’t mean you are a woman; it means you have uterus and were assigned at birth to be “female.” In fact people naturally assume I am “female” because I was assigned it at birth and appear to look like one when in reality, I consider myself non-binary and gender non conforming. I realize I could loose some followers and regular readers for my gender identity but that is their choice even if I would like them to continue to read my blog.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post except that having a period fucking sucks. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my end of things that you the reader do read my blog. If it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. It truly means the world to me that you do read my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

Up Before the Butt Crack of Dawn

Good Sunday Morning, World from Seattle, Washington, USA. It is two o seven in the morning as I start this lovely post. I would rather be sleeping soundly like my cat Billie Dean is right now.. In fact he is snoring. Snoring is normal for him.

Lets start why I’m probably up before the but crack of dawn which would be work tomorrow (Monday). I go into my work site for the first time I go into my actual job site and I have anxiety over it. Not sure why but I think it’s because I want to do a good job at what I do and proof my supervisor and myself that I can do the job.

On that note, I will be volunteering at PAWS Cat City later this morning and am proud to say that Boris got adopted Friday morning. If he wasn’t FIV positive and more lovey dovey than my Billie Boy I would have add him to the family.

My other plans to do today is to do a math workbook to freshen up on my math skills. I also plan on doing a mindfulness workbook to help me with being more mindful of the moment and maybe start a mindfulness group at work if it’s the type of recovery work I can do at the Triage center. I’m also going to work on a workbook specifically for mental health recovery.

As part of my self care besides volunteering at PAWS Cat City, I’ll do some art work by coloring. And of course spending time with my cat Billie.

Weekly Check-In

Hello, World!!! It’s been a long week. It’s been a long week. It started with me volunteering on Sunday as I normally do. We were slammed due to it being “kitten season.” The place I volunteer at has a super sweet lovable senior kitty who surprisingly hasn’t been adopted yet.

Then I started my job on Monday. It’s been a week full of training and my brain hurts from everything I learned this past week. Best part was having yesterday (Friday) off so I did an extra volunteer shift. I love me some kitten time but I love my Billie so much.

Then today I took a training to get certified in First Aid and CPR which is required by my employer. I had to pay for the training but I’m okay with that especially since it included AED training. To find out, I will get a “few cent raise” for the AED training or so I’m told. Weather or not I get the raise having all three certifications will help make me more employable.

All I need to do now is get my food handler’s permit and I am all set in what I need which will be easy to attain since I needed one for working at Safeway. On that note I just realized I need to show proof on auto insurance but since I don’t have a car I don’t have any. I still might have to get it if I’m required to drive a company car but if that is the case then I get to use auto insurance for tax purpose’s then.

Have a great rest of your weekend and Peace Out, World!!!

Happy Friday

Good Morning, World!!! I am off from work today yet I woke up at five o’clock in the morning. Wish I could have slept longer but the sleep I got was restful. It’s always a good thing to get restful sleep.

Since I was up so early a neighbor of mine who is a good friend goes out to breakfast every Friday so I asked if I could join him for breakfast. He said yes so we went out to breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy while my friend had was is called the Seattle omelet. It was cool hanging out with this friend.

Since I don’t have anything to do today since I don’t have to work; I signed up for an extra volunteer shift at PAWS Cat City. So I will be volunteering for a few hours today. I love volunteering and seeing cats get their furrever home.

On that note I’ve been doing some art work since waking up as well as after breakfast with a friend. I’ve been coloring the poster for my mom. In fact I plan on coloring after my volunteer job as well. I love doing art work.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you all for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciative from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. I hope everyone has a great weekend ahead. Happy Friday and Peace Out, World!!!

An Opps = A Lazy Sunday

Good Evening, World!!! It’s been a lazy Sunday. It’s been a lazy Sunday because I haven’t really done anything today. I didn’t even go volunteer because I slept in which is a huge OPPPS for me. When I called letting them know they told me to not worry about it. I feel really bad and was informed to not worry about.

Since I missed my volunteer job, I have felt a little out of place which is why I think it’s been a lazy type of Sunday. Which was a good thing in a way. I was able to go to local park with hiking trails. A friend and I met up at the park and went hiking on the trails. It was the perfect day for it due to the nice, beautiful day here in Seattle. The best part was the mountain was out. When people in the Seattle area say the mountain is out they meant Mount Rainer isn’t hiding behind any clouds. It was nice to go hiking and hang out with my friend.

After hanging out hiking with a friend, I got home and rested. I rested by reading. I read the first three chapters of DragonSong. So far so good. Lets hope I continue to enjoy it. I love to read especially fantasy and science fiction books.

I do not have much more to say in this particular blog post. I do want to want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader, reading my blog I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!

A Stress Free Sunday

Good Evening, World!!! It is eight o’clock in the evening here in Seattle. If you read my blog on the regular basis you know that I have been laid of as of this past Friday (June 3rd). Yesterday I was stressing a little bit but realized the stress knowing I was being laid off is not long a stress at least at the moment. It has been a stress free Sunday and feel great to be stress free. The last three months at my now previous employ caused my anxiety and depression symptom increase. Now that everything is done now with the lay offs it is like the lift has been lifted.

On that note I volunteered today and as PAWS Cat City and that help immensely. I’m happy that volunteer at Cat City because it is a form of self care for me just like my own cat Billie is a source to help with my stress. It appears that animals help a great deal. I am grateful for my cat Billie and and my volunteer job at Cot City.

On a good note I have a job interview tomorrow. I am nervous as hell but at least if I don’t get the job I have the practice of the job interview. Send good juju, energy, vibes or any thing good my way when it comes to my job interview tomorrow (Monday).

I don’t have much to say in this particular blog post. I do want to thank you for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. It it was not for you the reader, reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog. Peace Out, World!!!
