I’m Bored so I’m Blogging

Good Morning, World, once again. It’ just barely after seven in the morning here in Seattle and I am bored half out of my mind so I’m blogging. I’ve been awake since around three this morning. I haven’t been back to sleep so I’ve been doing some minor household chores like cleaning out Billie’s litter box, taking out the trash and sorting out what laundry needs to be done first later today. I’m not about to start a load of laundry now just in case I am able to get some sleep.

Since I have some minor household chores done and the weekend morning news is on, I decided to turn it on. I quickly regretted it as it’s depressing as hell yet I still have it on. Maybe I am keeping it on out boredom. I don’t know.

All I know is my cat Billie Dean, is laying on my lap purring up a storm and appears to be a happy clam with all the lap time he has been getting this morning. Hell, all his lap time this morning has been helpful for me. Billie is an amazing kitty and I love him so very much.

I do not have much to say in this particular blog. Thank you for reading my blog. It greatly appreciated from my end of things that you the reader, read my blog. If it wasn’t for you the reader reading my blog, I would not be writing my blog. Too Early to be Up on a Saturday

Good Morning, World!!! It is nearly four in the morning here in the Seattle area. I’ve been awake since just after three this morning. Not sure why I am awake this early so I’m blaming it on insomnia. On that note I’ve been trying to write this blog since I woke up but my cat, Billie Dean, is making a bit challenging to use my laptop.

So, obviously, I am figuring out a way to write it with him purring on my lap. I love my cat Billie so very much. He has made the last two months so much easier to deal with shit regarding a job I love. As I’ve mentioned before I am getting laid off from work with no lay off date. I do know I’m stay to they close or at least stop paying me. On that note we officially stop seeing clients May 31st and most of the remaining staff will be laid off in June. We don’t know exact dates but at least I know it’s sometime in June.

Any way switching subjects. It’s raining outside here in Seattle. Not exactly a surprise but it’s actually only drizzle. In fact it doesn’t rain as much as people think it does here. Plus, it is usually drizzle. It’s just mostly grey, cloudy and overcast here in Seattle.

I’m going to end this particular blog post now and try to get some more sleep. Thank for reading my blog. It is greatly appreciated. Peace Out, World!!!

My Grandpa’s Honor Flight

Good Evening, World!!! My grandpa came back from his Honor Flight trip this past Monday after two years of delays due to Covid-19 pandemic. I am so proud of him serving our country. I would love to put picture of what was taken but my grandpa knows I a using a pseu·don·y·mous and doesn’t want that taken a way from me.

I just don’t want to take away one of the best times he has made in in his life time and waited two years due to a stupid pandemic. I am grateful he had a grated time. He met a lot of vets that he will keep in contact with.

The best part was seeing all the love the families had for their vets coming home. A lot of families came out and there were many hugs and smiles. My grandpa had a great time.

I don’t have much more to says except thank you veterans for serving our country. Peace Out, World!!!

Too Sleepy to do Anything but Self Care

Good Evening, World!!! I’ve been tired and sleepy all day. The only thing I could do today was volunteer at PAWS Cat City which helped with my depression. Of course when i got home from volunteering spent some much needed time with my Billie Dean. Billie is such love bug.

I’m been tired and sleepy all day due to insomnia last night. So I decided to read most of the day with Billie in my lap. I read some science fiction books as well as comic books. I think the reading and cuddling with my cat, Billie helped a great deal with the sleepiness and depression.

Sometimes time just lay back cuddling with my cat and reading helps with my depression.. Depression sucks shit. At least self care is helping the depression a little bit. It’s not eve eight forty five in the evening here is Seattle and I am reading for bed.

Weekly Check In

Good Evening, World!!! Good news is my grandpa’s Honor Flight finally happened was not post poned for the hundredth time. So for are he is enjoying it and the is making me happy. As I sit here hat home in Seattle with my cat Billie Dean, I wish I was with my grandpa but I understand why he want to go alone and not make anyone jealous or envies. It’s also nice to just be home alone with my cat Billie.

As far are as my job goes, it is still up in the air and driving everyone including staff, clients and the count bat shit crazy. The Board of Directors want’s is closed completely however the county it is trying to keep the agency open. Honestly, I think the reality of it is that it will close.

I really wish I was in the other Washington (DC) with my grandpa but I respect his wishes and am happy his honor flight is finally happening. I am happy that I have friend and family sending cards to my grandpa for “mail call” during his honor flight.

Honoring Those Who Served Our Country

Good Afternoon, World!!! It has been just over two years of waiting for my grandpa to take the Honor Flight. Sadly, each and every time it got cancelled due to Covid-19. The pandemic ruined a lot of things for people including those who passed away awaiting to do the honor flight. I am beyond grateful that my 91 year old grandpa gets to go and that the woman he sat by is celebrating her 100th birthday today. I am thrilled that all those who were able to make the honor flight. I hope our veterans have the time of their lives as they gave us the freedoms we have.

I just wanted to thank everyone in the United States and their home countries for fighting for what they believe in. Everyone who serves their country deserves respect and a hug if they are up for a hug.

Thank you for reading my blog. Most importantly lets respect our military even if we don’t agree with each out. Our militaries keep us free and keep up protected. Peace Out, World!!!

Just One of Them Days

Hello, World!!! It’s been one of them days where I things that went all the wrong directions, actually got everyone off work early. First the president is in town so everyone is working from home. Which is great because I’m dealing with a migraine.

The not so great part of working from home is four out of my five clients cancelled on me and I am finished with my paperwork so my supervisor gave me the rest of the day off with pay due to having a migraine. To make it worse the fire alarm system in my apartment building keeps malfunctioning

Just like planning a good bye party at work in a dysfunctional way, this is how my neighbors get together in a difunctional way. Yes, in a way my dysfunctional family’s are very similar at times, annoying and fun at the same time.

Well, since I get to take the rest of the day off, I get to do some self care. Self care with my cat Billie and listening to music while taking care of my health care of a migraine. Peace Out, World.

Ugh!!! Not Another Fight on My Floor

It’s barely after three thirty in the morning here in Seattle. I got woken up by neighbors arguing with each other before it became and actual violent fight. I am not happy that I got woken up by neighbors who don’t give a shit about their neighbors who have plans the next day.

Thankfully the Seattle cops came and broke up the fight. In fact both ended up going to the King County Jail. Its about time that SPD did their job. Since the fight caused me a great deal of anxiety, Billie did his job and helped reduced the anxiety .

Cell Phone Back in Service at Least with Some

Good Evening, World!!! People have been having issues with their cell phones. I just thought it was my particular cell phone carrier but it turns out it was other carriers as well.

The thing that bothered me is my mom called me twelve times in a five minute period on my cell phone after texting her it’s not working. She could have called my land line telephone and she said “you get mad when I do that.” At times I have but if you call someone’s cell phone twelve times in five minutes and then call the police is a bit excessive. The cops did give my mom a lecture on the phone especially when I have a land line. I love my mom so that is why I texted her about my cell phone. I even called from my land line and she didn’t pick up. Just use all your resources first before calling the cops.

I know my mom meant well and that she loves me. I feel bad for getting upset with her and will call her back to apologize. I really do love my mom. At least Billie kept me compony. The cell phone issue has lasted several hours and some still can use their cell phones. I’m very happy my cell phone is now working in Seattle and that Billie kept me company.
